Who would have thought Thanksgiving day game with a pair of 3-7 teams (cowboys and that football team) would have such serious playoff ramifications? I'm thinking we want the football team(ridiculous name) to win since NYG already swept them? I think so too because in that case that football team could tie us for division record but we'd hold first tie breaker of head to head. If cowboys lose we can have better division record which could be tie breaker with them if we win week 17 and halve the series. That final game as I said looms large on the horizon. Cowgirls also seem to have easiest schedule from here on out.

If they are actually heading the right direction then any tie breakers etc should not be needed to win this division. The Giants already blew it, to a degree, with the 2 or 3 close games that were almost in the bag and they found a way to lose. Win 4 of the last 6 and take the div with the best of the lame ass records....

After today's debacle I think we can pretty much stick a fork in cowboys ... They're done. That was one of the most embàrressing performances I've ever seen from a team. It started with coaching, peaked with the Zeke Fumble, and dalton's pick 6 to a lineman the very play right after being scored on was icing on the cake. That locker room has got to be turning on the coaches and each other ...especially fumble elliott.
So anyway we got the victory out of that other team today. Giants are in better shape now than they have all season with regard to making a run at it ...let's see how they do with it. Its a tough schedule but I think it's closing in on a being a two-team race, and we're one of them.

Redskins win pretty much KOed the cowgirls from the race & now We just have to make sure we take care of business vs Cincy. I feel Philthy will lose their next 4-5 games & that it might come down to us & the Skins. Luckily we swept them & should we beat Dallas in week 17, our 4-2 div will be key as well.

Beating Cincy won't be easy for this team. Even with Allen at QB.
The door is open however for us to get the NFC Least crown.
Go get it.

They have looked awful at times this season. Very up and down.

With this win they can give you the out of division AND out of conference win. Kill two birds with one win.... if Philly loses the Giants are in first place.....Imagine that.....!!!!

I'm happy we are 3-2 vs it, but we should be 5-0. I would bet on Cincy if I was a betting man. Giants need this win and I hope i they get it. Still have Baltimore, Arizona and Seattle. This one is a must.

I root for them to win always until he are eliminated. And I dont think they are all must wins. Seattle won't be a must win. It will be a huge upset. Same with Balt and Arizona. Cincy, Dallas and Cleveland are the must wins IMO

If the improvements we've seen recently are not a mirage, and they continue to improve, we can certainly get there. It's nice to be playing meaningful games in late Nov/Dec, been too long!!!

The NFCE standings are what they are. I wont blame the NYGs because the other 3 teams are struggling too. As a matter of fact its a gift because the NYGs have been the better team overall anyway and if they win the division they certainly deserve it.
Even with the up coming game in Cincy there is all this "well Burrow isnt playing so the Giants should win". What is Burrow some unbeatable rookie QB? With Burrow and Mixon the Giants are still the better team up and down the roster and coaching staff.

Ever since Robert grifffins first year in DC has there even been a rookie QB directly responsible for a team going to playoffs? Which cinci wasn't anyway. Would also add there are no truly scary teams left on our schedule like a KC or Pittsburg. The better ones seattle, Az and Baltimore all have their flaws.

Its about to be official with eagles loss to seahawks. I'm not at all blown away by seahawks and think we match up well against them. On a short week for them I like our chances, and odds of staying in first and perhaps even extending our lead since rest of division are underdogs in each game.

Bradberry has played outstanding all year. I think he’ll do better than slay. At least limit him. But, then maybe it’s Lockett’s game to go off. I’m actually excited to see the defense play a good team. The offense might hang them out to dry this week, but I think they’ll hold their own.

I think we’re kind of at the point where you live with that from the #2 corner 🤷🏻. He’s gonna get torched a few times and it presents the biggest mismatch by far. There’s a lot of other good matchups I’m interested in watching. It’ll be fun to see them against a quality team for the first time in a month, even if it goes a little awry.
In other words, I have no idea what to do about Lockett.

Giants will need to score at least 24 to beat the Hawks. That in itself will be a huge task. Even with Jones

It seems like since dirt was invented we have not had a team that was good enough to win anything. We do not need any help to make the playoffs. Our destiny is in our hands. We have 5 games lets stay on top. (Preferably run the table). Motivation to do this should be off the scale.

Whens the last time you remember NYG defensive players smiling and having fun on the football field? LW, DT, Martinez, Peppers, Holmes, Ryan, Lawrence, can routinely be seen with smiles on their face on the field. That's confidence.
