funny how the division has flipped; before the season skins and giants were written off, and everyone thought it would be between the as always overhyped cowboys vs defending division champ eagles. both of the latter teams appear to be in dire straights for at least a few years with large contracts to underperforming players

Dallas has the absolute worst run defense i have ever seen This is saying a lot considering its a passing league and even bad run defenses only give up about 130 or so a game They have given up 200 or over something like 6 or 7 times already,2 times over 290. And its not like every team has an O line that can power a team to that kind of yardage evert game either.
I mean, its not even that they lack players, Tbe worst gap integrity and control i have ever seen Hitting wrong gaps Terrible tackling Missed assignments... Its week 13 now,its not going to get better
Ryan Clark just said it on ESPN The Dallas Cowboys are a vaccine to every ailing offense in the lewgue, just hand it off every play
They have become every other team in tbe old school Big 12 that played against Nebraska and Oklahoma

When does Mike McCarthy get fired? This week? in the next 3 weeks? End of the season? Off Season? He stays another year?

When does Mike McCarthy get fired? This week? in the next 3 weeks? End of the season? Off Season? He stays another year? Demarcus Ware made a good point today. He said the defenders dont know what position to play, since theyve gone from a 4-3 to a hybrid 3-4, with no preseason. That pretty much captures their behavior as the keystone cops out there. Question: is this an excuse for McCarthy or a reason to criticize his judgement for trying to make the change?

We should be able to run for 300+ on them in the finale. Dallas D is ranked dead last at #32, has given up 4500 combined air/ground yds & close to 400pts with 4 games left to play, they might become the 1st D in NFL history to give up 500 pts & 5000 yds by yrs end. That loss to them burns so so much!

Sad thing is that if Barkley was playing and this improved line he probably gets 300 on his own and probably 20 or less carries ..

They have bengals, we have cardinals, WFT has 9ers, and eagles have saints

They will give up 6000yds total yds via ground/air & 500pts by yr's end. Only 107pts from 500.

You mean like Eli/Elway/Dorsett? Sure Do you think the Cowboys would be so interested in him, that they would put together a multiple pick trade proposal? Prescott has worked pretty well for them, should return O.K., and they seem to be falling apart at many of their other position groups.

You mean like Eli/Elway/Dorsett? Sure I don't see that trade happening with cowboys and jets or anyone else. Jets will have new staff next season, and it also be a huge black eye if they accept a player going somewhere else. Also it's very rare seems especially these days when a player refuses to play for the team that drafts him.

Also it's very rare seems especially these days when a player refuses to play for the team that drafts him. It is rare, but there doesn't seem to be anything built into the draft system to prevent it. I believe he has openly said he'd rather stay in college one more year, than get drafted by the Jets. To me, that's not a player you should want to draft, if that's the case and you are the Jets - regardless of the chance to finally get the QB you have waited so long for.

Well, Cowboys and Eagles look like W's today. Skins up at halftime.
Giants could have near equal chances of first and last place within a week.

Giants were a mirage...
Redskins have the ingredients. Vet QB and solid pass rushers.
Wish we had Chase Young.

Hard to believe that after today WFT may control their own destiny with 3 games left. And with the weakest remaining schedule too....unreal

Ron Rivera is building a culture of accountability, and players are buying into it. After a 2-7 start, there's still a chance to end out on a winning season.

Submersion of our offense offers less hope it will even help us get in post season.

In all likelihood WFT will lose to Seattle this afernoon, and giants will lose to cleveland tonight. Eagles and cowboys both have better chances in their games. In most likey case giants will remain a game behind WFT, and eagles and cowboys may claw themselves back into the race. All signs still point to giants needing a victory over cowboys week 17, and WFT losing to eagles that same week, to tie in overall record. Then giants will need to rely on the tie breaker formula being in their favor to make the post season. Not impossible, but if today turns out as expected giants cannot afford another loss after today.

If we lose this weekend, and WFT wins, thats all she wrote as we'd be 2 behind with 1 left to play.
If we lose this weekend, and WFT lose, we'd need eagles to lose this week, and beat WFT next week. If eagles win this week theyd be 1/2 game ahead, which means they'd also eliminate us if they beat WFT in week 17.
Of course this is all prefaced on us beating cowboys in week 17. If we lose this week and to cowboys week 17, it's over no matter.
Ain't looking good guys ...

We don't deserve it. as crazy as it is the only team that could do something in the playoffs from NFC east right now is eagles with hurtz. redskins = no qb giants = no offence at all cowboys = no qb no defence eagles= Hurtz and O playing well since he took over and some nice players on D. they need to beat Dallas which they will and get a win next week to get in I think. Washington likely loses today and cowboys too. I think that would mean next week with giants and eagles winning the eagles are in? Man this division is bad when all Teams can make the playoffs still with terrible records... meanwhile some Teams with 10 wins could be out in the nfl.
