I would have bet money that McKinney would have not fallen to us last year.

After eating 8 scrambled eggs, near 1 pound of bacon (minus the 1 piece I gave to my favorite charity) and 3 English Muffins loaded with whipped butter, they all ask why... WHY ARIS, WHY SO MUCH ...until I tell them it gives me 4 hour erections...and helps me with my mock drafts. Yes, don't know why, but even a sniff of bacon gives me a chubby.
Why so much love talk?... is Valentines Day and all that...she eats the chocolate, while I rub the pig fat on my neck... a firm believer oscar mayer would make a fine cologne once they solved the fly and dog problem.
I would choose bacon over any woman...fact.
So, watching a lot of names these days on some game video...and while my expertise aligns for my high school team and the college recruits...I am going all in on the line of scrimmage. Never mind the weapons...the Giants get back to winning football when they finally get the trenches right on BOTH sides of the ball. Because of this, I believe we pay LW, and KZ.
11: R1 P11 OT Rashawn Slater - Northwestern
Slater is the pick. Just to stop Chase Young 1 on 1 two games a year would be enough...but this kid is a technician that can play anywhere on the line. Peart shines, as I believe he will, and he kicks inside to become a pro bowl guard.
59: R2 P27 WR Terrace Marshall Jr. - LSU
My college team I root for is LSU...they also happen to produce a ton of NFL talent. I would not be surprised if this kid goes early day 1.
76: R3 P12 EDGE Patrick Jones II - Pittsburgh
Kase made me look more closely at these next two defensive players, and Kase has it right. These guys have all the tools and bend...not sure if Patrick's size is suited for a 3-4, but let him attack the QB and we might decide to put four guys with their hand in the dirt again. Jones also excels against the run.
89: R3 P25 WR Frank Darby - Arizona State
More of a slot guy, but have managed to watch many of the Herm Edwards team out in the desert. Not Brandon Aiyuk, but he's a weapon as a NFL player.
115: R4 P11 LB Hamilcar Rashed Jr. - Oregon State
More of a 3-4 guy...superb athleticism and great motor. Would take some time to develop into an every down player, but potential to be a 10 sack guy is evident.
131: R4 P27 OT Dillon Radunz - North Dakota State
Another versatile lineman who will be starting in the NFL.
197: R6 P12 RB Trey Sermon - Ohio State
Yeah, so I'm not sold on Barkley after that injury. Will he recover? Sure, I believe he will. I also believe he will get injured again. And again. Running back by committee for the future and avoid the Gettleman dinosaur running back's matter philosophy ...and keep the OL top ten...do NOT get sucked into contract 2.
202: R6 P17 C Quinn Meinerz - Wisconsin-Whitewater
Okay, a man who also loves his bacon. He has as much a chance as landing here as I do turning away a piece of cheesecake ...

Slater=Scherff..worst case scenario is he sits for a year if he loses his battle with Peart outside... Jones can play 3/4 edge....though I'd go Rashed at 4...yeah back to back but consider it a miracle if he makes it to us at 4 My mocks are going to be concentrating on weapons and an endless supply of O lineman.. Either for Jones or his replacement

We should just start making bold face lies to tank his stock so we can have him at 11 He makes up that lack of an inch in his movement ...wait, sounded a bit wrong...I mean his athleticism is incredible and his mirror ability on pass sets is phenomenal, and his arms are not actually short, but not "ideal" in some scouts eyes. Average? Nitpicking it seems ...even DJ had Slater go ahead of him in a mock, and his arms are actually short. Let all the wide outs, Pitts, a reached for edge, CB's and QB's be taken...if he is sitting there at 11, we just nailed past pro bowl potential, and entered all pro.

Another first round talent at OT...Christian Darrisaw, Virginia Tech Against Chazz Surratt , a linebacker who will be playing in the NFL. Nice to see the NFL prospect vs NFL prospect to see how they do. Happy to say the OT not only won this game battle, but once you are blocked 30 yards downfield, it could be get a note from a fake doctor to miss the tape session lost.

So you're saying it's not the size of the boat, but the motion in the ocean?? LOL. I'd take Sewell in a friggin heartbeat. Dude is a hell of a prospect who could step in day 1 and produce, and that's with him being as raw as he is.

Time for my weekly mock, and damnit, no matter how it plays out I dont get within 4 picks of getting Pitts, who at this point in time, is my top choice at 11 for us. These were done using the newest fanspeak rankings
R1 P11 WR Ja'Marr Chase - LSU - Before sitting out 2020, dude was SHATTERING the opposition, he was a clear cut top 5 pick, he does everything right, BUT he did sit out 2020, so that makes me a little iffy on the pick, but if he is anything like he was in 2019, we got a steal. Route running, amazing hands, hell of a blocker, decent size, not really a burner but he's quick.
R2 P10 LB Zaven Collins - Tulsa - Guy COULD be a friggin beast, if he plays against NFL competition like he did against college opponents. He does it all, while his cover ability is probably his best asset, he can rush the passer, stuff the run, great size, great versatility.
R3 P12 CB Ifeatu Melifonwu - Syracuse - Stout run defender, also a hell of a zone cover guy, good ball skills, great vision,
R4 P11 LB Hamilcar Rashed Jr. - Oregon State - Super athletic, explosive, constant motor, stocked the stat sheet in 2019, super raw, but extremely productive
R6 P12 DL Daelin Hayes - Notre Dame - Smooth defender, COULD be a pass rush threat, but clearly needs work, good hands, good build, not really sure if he could pull off 3-4 OLB
R6 P17 C Quinn Meinerz - Wisconsin-Whitewater - How do you NOT like this guy
R1 P11 OT Rashawn Slater - Northwestern
R2 P10 CB Paulson Adebo - Stanford
R3 P12 WR D'Wayne Eskridge - Western Michigan
R4 P11 LB Hamilcar Rashed Jr. - Oregon State
R6 P12 EDGE Victor Dimukeje - Duke
R6 P17 C Quinn Meinerz - Wisconsin-Whitewater

With this week asssd edge rush class we will see teams wait till day 2 and all think the same thing and between our pick at 2 and the 3md of day 2 it's completely picked clean by teams all thinking they can wait ....till the mad rush starts.. Draft 2 Piggy back that on signing Corey Davis (we will have enough with creative cap stuff and still not Jack it up in the future) Whoa

R1 P11 TE Kyle Pitts - Florida- Unbelievable player. Idc how high this pick is for a "TE", Kyle Pitts would be worth the pick. Get your Darren Waller type of player and potentially more than that and count your blessings. He is a monster and would be an instant favorite for DJ and a nightmare to cover
R2 P27 WR Amon-Ra St. Brown - USC- Doubling down at targets for Jones. If there's still doubt about him with weapons like Barkley, Pitts, Engram, Slayton, St. Brown, and Shepard then move on IMO because that should be plenty to put up a ton of points. St. Brown is a really good WR. He does everything you want and in the late second I would love this regardless who is on the board or who was taken in the first.
R3 P12 CB Ifeatu Melifonwu - Syracuse- Big talented DB who can develop and learn from our vets. I think he will be a really good player in the NFL
R3 P25 LB Hamilcar Rashed Jr. - Oregon State- He is really slept on because of Pac-12 and Covid. He would be a great edge option I think, especially round 3.
R4 P11 LB Dylan Moses - Alabama- Kind of a rolling of the dice here. He has the physical talent at least or did before the injury. That being said a lot of the time I watched him I didn't like a lot of what he did. He would have a great person to learn from in Martinez. Him and Crowder could battle it out
R4 P27 OT Robert Jones - Middle Tennessee- Can't go wrong with OL depth
R6 P12 RB Trey Sermon - Ohio State- Really good option for RB depth late
R6 P17 WR Marquez Stevenson - Houston- Ridiculously fast. Could be an instant situational deep threat and return specialist

Two trade backs, and we are in the playoffs...I'm keeping LW and KZ no matter what it takes, and letting Dalvin Tomlinson go. 26: R1 P26 WR Rashod Bateman - Minnesota After a trade back, we can start on the wide receivers. Has anybody noticed how many later picked 1st and 2nd round wide outs are now starring in the NFL? Rare does a WR get taken top ten, and in this case I snag arguably the best route runner in the class, and WR4 on many boards. I'm trading back and getting two for my first two picks...to play it safe. 42: R2 P10 WR Terrace Marshall Jr. - LSU Not done placing WR's in my cart just yet as said...the impressive LSU wide receiver not named Chase from Burrow is still sitting there, and Daniel Jones finally has his weapons. 59: R2 P27 TE Pat Freiermuth - Penn State Keeping EE and solidifying the TE position with a combo tight end nicknamed baby Gronk. Can we say mo firepower? Now, if we can only replace the had to let go DT at DT.... and acquire another running back this draft for SB just in case that knee frightens him even more in the backfield. Pat's blocking, while good, needs more refinement IMHO, but it's easily fixed with good coaching. He's a bull running the ball, but some of me believes the other baby Gronk, Michael Mayer from Notre Dame would be TE1 this year, if he only was not a freshman? 76: R3 P12 DL Alim McNeill - NC State. Start watching some of this guys video (NC State defense vs)...this guy lines up 0 gap more than any nose I've ever seen in college. Mano a Mano...shorter pitbull with an explosive first move. Rare to see a nose tackle that lines up so much on the center get so much pressure. I like what I see....potential IMHO to be a great pro. Some highlights to wet your whistle...watch his game tape stuff down by down to truly understand how effective his leverage is. 89: R3 P25 OT Dillon Radunz - North Dakota State The senior bowl standout, the other one...plays anywhere you want. I predict early 2nd round, possibly late first...but the big board has him in 5-6 round range. Offensive tackles with his ability go quickly. Some one on one drills...the best thing about the senior bowl week. He is good, ready for the NFL real good. 116: R4 P11 RB Jaret Patterson - Buffalo Yeah, so this guy is only 4'5 in height. He translates great to the NFL as a committee guy. Who can forget this game? 125: R4 P20 LB Hamilcar Rashed Jr. - Oregon State Nice developing pass rusher for our 3-4. 134: R4 P29 C Quinn Meinerz - Wisconsin-Whitewater We have talked about him...not only bulldozing the big school guys, but a plus personality for the locker room. 143: R4 P38 CB Israel Mukuamu - South Carolina I love his size...can he become a legion of boom type CB? 198: R6 P12 OT Cole Van Lanen - Wisconsin A bulldozer at tackle...technique flawless and a beauty to watch gap block on runs...lacks athletic ability, but so does Conklin. 203: R6 P17 WR Josh Imatorbhebhe - Illinois Some max prep video for all you high school coaches, scouts and Friday Night Lights fans. He improved that frog leap to 47.1...he would have been combine chatter, but alas, finds himself a secret for the NY Giants to snag late in the 6th. Something different
ROSTER MOVES Signed Players:(all 2021 numbers) Leonard Williams - DL ($13,300,000) Dalvin Tomlinson - DL ($6,000,000) Hassan Reddick - EDGE ($6,200,000) Corey Davis - WR (10,300,000)
Didn't want to shop hungry at the draft with WRs as I don't want to miss out on the 1st wave of playmakers and have to risk a reach and miss out on another really good football player that can make an impact Then potentially miss out on the 2nd wave of playmakers and then it's another year of hopes and prayers and a young qb not having the required dynamic playmakers to run a modern NFL offense Corey Davis is a nice outside guy that can stretch the field opposite Slayton to make a big upgrade while allowing more draft picks at the position elsewhere
Reddick is a bargain rotation type edge rusher that can help with what we have as tbis years draft class is not good at all early
Cut Players: Nate Solder - OT Golden Tate - WR Levine Toilolo - TE David Mayo - LB Restructured Players: James Bradberry - CB Kevin Zeitler G
11: R1 P11 OT Rashawn Slater - Northwestern
Well that Corey Davis signing allowed me to do this as the 3 WRs and Pitts were taken Get a top O lineman with a high floor to play anywhere on the line..possibly start this year at RT or even push someone inside.. And this pays dividends in 2022 and later after Hernandez walks, possibly Zeitler is moved (especially if Peart is a good starting RT )having a very good young O line all on rookie deals
47: R2 P15 WR D'Wayne Eskridge - Western Michigan
And the 2nd wave was cleaned out except for this guy...was a little bit of a reach but I wanted another dynamic threat from all over the field with devastating speed.and post catch ability.....future replacement for Shepard..and a threat on special teams
77: R3 P13 EDGE Patrick Jones II - Pittsburgh
He is a day 2 prospect when it's all said and done.Perfect spot for a 2021 edge rusher prospect that will need to develop.
85: R3 P21 RB Jaret Patterson - Buffalo
Little earlier than I wanted for a RB...almost reached for Newsome here...didn't like what was available..we have a compliment to Barkley
100: R3 P36 CB Greg Newsome II - Northwestern
Oh look he is still here....can't ever have enough corners, especially when one is BPA
116: R4 P11 WR Tamorrion Terry - Florida State
Here is the bigger guy many fans want..you take these guys here, not early Oh and he has rare athletic skills.like speed and quickness for a big guy
198: R6 P12 OT Cole Van Lanen - Wisconsin
Can't ever have enough O lineman He shut down Chase Young in 2019...can play inside as well So I now have 2 young picks that can also.play outside if needed
203: R6 P17 TE Luke Farrell - Ohio State
Better reciever than his stats show TRADES Trade Partner: Tennessee Titans
