We need a spark. Not sure if he can ignite this offense. But we got to try something to get a rhythm established.

I'm pretty much down for whatever it takes to get this team's offense going. I hope that he can make an impact.

We should probably play a lot of younger players to get a good evaluation on them.

Pick any given week and watch the impact plays around the league. QBs are throwing it up and letting their athletes make plays on the ball. Some are outmuscling defenders, some are taking advantage of their size, and others are winning the battle for the ball through sheer will. I don't know much about Mack but if he's bigger and wants the ball then lets go. I could not understand how WR wasn't addressed in the offseason but maybe NYG can get lucky with one of these afterthought kids.

He would need to have even good athletic ability to do this This fan base has a weird fascination for wanting "big" even if it means plodding and lumbering... Those athletes you speak of are also dynamic and fast. To me Ratley was the guy I hoped would emerge to he decent because he has legit speed and size...maybe its because he only joined 3 weeks ago but so far he is a non factor

I don’t get how Judge managed the roster this summer with the WR’s. Guys like Coleman, Bachman and Mack were practice highlight players who were all cut. I don’t understand why they wasted valuable practice time on players like Coleman, who they had no intention of keeping. But players like Dillon who did nothing was brought back and even given a paid 1 week vacation.

Ratley has prototypical hight/speed attributes for the offense we are trying to run Kinda hard to jump in after coming to a new team just e weeks ago, learn the offense on tbe fly and now have to play. But the fact these are the kinds of players we have to surround Jones with while 85% of the league has a ton of firepower is embarrassing to be associated with as a fan. Mack has useless skillsets to help Jones other than maybe a few irrelevant 7 yard catches in garbage time when teams are in prevent

Not a world-beater, but a serviceable 4th WR

Also, Giants receivers are not good run blockers. Can’t hurt to take a look see at Mack.

I think this is why Mack is getting the opportunity.

Board has not dropped any balls struggling in the run game seems in Garrets offense WRs are a big part with down field blocks and even motion like a TE thing to get a block in the hole.

Ironically one of Dlllon's strengths is run blocking but are you going to call up butterfingers speed guy just to block? Sounds also to me Engram is completely messed up mentally right now,he used to actually be really good in space, downfield and in motion and he can't even do tbis

Soon it will be the offensive line. We need to bring in Peart and see what he has. Obviously let’s wait until Donald is not on the opposite side of the line for his debut

I'm down for anything that might shake up this offense a bit. An earthquake couldn’t shake up this offense, let alone a practice squad player.

Hakeem Nicks ran a 4.63. Can't say he wasn't fun. Oh, you mean in 2009 when that was ok? Gotcha He was also overweight at his combines....Nicks ran a 4.5 at his pro day..... The problem with the big guys is that it doesn't take much injury wise to go from "good enough for big plays" to "useless plodding big guy" But this fan base seems to like medocrity as long as the recievers are big bodied
