Familia ( right hip) and Gsellman (torn lat). Both to the IL.
If you remember a torn lat is what originally sidelined Syndergaard.

I'm sure that post describe every Mets fan concern about injury not performance. Even his last 3 inning outing was unreal. We're Mets fans, used to disappointment. 🤨

MLB is losing me as a fan... Are you not going to watch MLB games anymore over this? Let's just say my interest is falling. This sport needs to figure out why die hard fans like me are losing interest. This is just another stupid part of it. Yes blame the pitchers for using something they turned away from forever. And don't punish any of the Astros who cheated their way to a championship. Focus on 7 inning games aand leadoff runners in extra innings

Focus on 7 inning games aand leadoff runners in extra innings I totally agree. But until you and I actually stop watching, nothing will change. Same with the NFL. For the sticky stuff, I'm all for the increasingly wild hard throwing pitchers using something for a better grip. But it's obvious many pitchers are using something more than just for a grip. What's silly is that MLB is big-time overreacting to it in the middle of the season.

What's silly is that MLB is big-time overreacting to it in the middle of the season. I dont know about you, but my MLB watching has dwindled quite a bit. I used to live and breathe every single Yankee game. I used to love watching MLB highlights from the night before. All the great young players. Earlier this year I even said I was excited to watch kids like Soto, Tatis Jr and Vlad Jr. 3 up and coming stars. I just dont feel the same way I did even just a few years ago. Im still a big Yankee fan, and even enjoy watching the Mets, but MLB as a product is terrible right now. They cant even market some of the best players the game has ever seen in Trout and DeGrom. Its embarrassingly bad. Everything is just adding up now with this "let me check the pitchers out for cheating" crap that they let go on for years, much like PEDs. Add in the rule changes which are horrific and awful strike zones that fluctuate, and it makes it very hard to watch, even for a die hard like me.

The balls and strikes are getting worse, I'm surprised MLB allows the rectangle on broadcasts. It just makes the calls look even more ridiculous.

Are you not going to watch MLB games anymore over this? I’m more likely to stop watching over the genuine frustration of the Mets offensive doldrums. 😂 I hear you, definitely frustrating. And it's not like they are facing great pitching. Need to get conforto and Nimmo back asap. Also we lost a starter and bullpen past few days. Going to need to score runs or this could unravel quickly.

Jesus. Stroman hurt in the bottom of the second? 😠Not good... Yeah. And they are getting one hit through 6 by charlie Morton. He has a new season high 10 strikeouts. Lindor hasn't had a hit in this series.

Well, none of them took long and the before and after innings stuff shouldn't effect the game time. It's just embarrassing again for MLB. A total overreaction. The second day this policy was implemented, a manager was ejected over it.

The boys are back!
Nice night for the O. Although they were hitting some meatballs. I probably could have hit some of them.
Cautious optimism on stro, MRI good. But watching him when he tried to throw that night makes me think he might be pushed back.
Tylor Megill pitched good. Velocity was up from what I was reading about him, and location was very good. Maybe a keeper?

Probably came as a surprise to the Mets that it’s hard to sweep a double header scoring 3 runs combined. What an offense!

They are doing well and I’m glad for that, just keep wondering when this offense to shoulder some of the load. 2 starters that either lost or could have lost yesterday. Each gave up 1 run in 6. It’s really unacceptable.

At least lindor seems to be coming around.

Yeah, the only 2 "starters" hitting over.300 are Nimmo and JD. A small sample size, and who knows when we will see them again? Nice win yesterday, but again, where's the beef?

The goal is to win the division and advance in the playoffs. I will take every win we get as the path to that prize.

Love the comeback. You have to admit that bases loaded and no outs you thought(as I did) this would be typical of the Mets to squander this. Mets have that unique feature of being in positive situations that are causing negative thought patterns. It’s all good, if this offense wakes up and his team has some crazy potential. And there have been good developments. Peterson figuring it out, McCann snapped out of the early funk, Lindor of course, the defense has been a revelation and the bullpen has been phenomenal (don’t put Diaz in non save situations Rojas). Again I think this team is exciting, I just have reached a point of legitimate concern that the lack of offense is going to submarine the whole thing.
