Aaron Judge Trade Rumors: Yankees, Angels 'Very Briefly' Talked Offseason Deal The New York Yankees and Los Angeles Angels reportedly "very briefly talked" about the possibility of an Aaron Judge trade, but "nothing advanced" in those conversations, according to ESPN's Buster Olney. According to that report, those talks were the "lightest of flirtations, and perhaps a door-opener for other names. Teams talk all the time about a wide range of players, from their best to their least accomplished." But as Olney noted, the Yankees have a big decision on the horizon when it comes to Judge, who will hit free agency following the 2023 season. As he wrote, "In 2017, [Judge] clubbed 52 homers, drew 127 walks and posted a 1.049 OPS. In the 258 games since then—played over the full seasons of 2018 and 2019, the 60-game season of '20, and the sprinkling of games this year—Judge has 67 homers and .914 OPS." bleacherreport.com/articles/2941170-aaron-judge-trade-rumors-yankees-angels-very-briefly-talked-offseason-deal---- Unfortunately, with Stanton clogged in the DH hole for the next 7 seasons, its the right thing to do. Guessing wrong thread?

First inning, first and second, nobody out. Had an issue that took me away from the game for awhile.
Come back and they didn't score for deGrom (of course), and we're down 1-0.
Now 5th inning and they have 2 hits.
As they say, amazin!

For fantasy baseball it might be time to stream every opposing Mets pitchers. This team can’t hit.

For fantasy baseball it might be time to stream every opposing Mets pitchers. This team can’t hit. They can get on base. What they can't do is hit when runners are on base. I'm already tired of watching them swinging over fastballs down the middle, or flailing at off speed pitches and high fastballs. $300+ dollar Lindor just swung at a 3-0 pitch over his head to end another inning with men on base. I get it's still "early," but it's really hard to watch. Because it's exactly the same thing we've seen for years.

Lindor is lost at the plate. He looked like he'd never seen a curve ball in his life last night. And they just fired their hitting coaches. That should fix it...🙄

That should fix it...🙄 I want to apologize to you guys for drafting Lindor in the 2nd round. He has been AWFUL. That said, he is too good a player. This might just be the beginners struggle many players face going to NY. It happens. Lindor is legit. Just needs to figure it out.

I really couldnt care less about hitting coaches, but yeah, some of the players apparently had a close relationship with him. On the other hand, it cant be that Chili didnt think he was on the hot seat the way this team has been hitting. But the timing of it is pure old Mets. Why do they always feel the need to fire people at away games? I mean, they are literally back home tomorrow, it couldnt wait? Edit: and the Mets players found out about it on Twitter?

I feel the same I do about any couch being fired because the players aren’t performing. If you want him to stay employed, do your job better.

2 innings they had bases loaded and one out. One they didn't score, the other the cards pitcher's walked in 2 runs.
They've had runners on in every inning. Currently leading 2-1.

Bases loaded no outs top 8, 2-1 Mets. Cards walk in another run. Dom finally drives one in with a bloop single. Then popup, strike out, fly out. 4-1. Cards walked 11 batter's...3 separate bases loaded, they drove in 1 run. 16 runners left on base. 😣 On the plus side, Lindor finally got a hit to break his 0-26 streak.

Exciting win tonight. For some reason I thought the game was in AZ. I'm working on a long quote for a customer so I'm not paying 100% attention> It's bottom of the first or 2nd inning and the AZ pitcher is throwing a few times over to first to hold the runner... and, I hear a lot of boos. "Dang, the Metsies gots a lot if fans in AZ. That was loud:for away fans." It wasn't until I finished the quote in the 5th inning that I realized we were home. DUH. Anyways, coming back with a Lindor HR and a rookie crushing RBI down the first base line wins it. They called Fielder's Choice. In what world was that pitcher going to turn and throw him out at first? They should have given him a hit. Hitting has been a snoozer with men OB. It can only get better. I've said that in other years, and was sadly wrong. deGrom should end up the season 25-5 and he'll prob be 15-5.

I cannot believe what I am watching . Kelly is tipping his first pitch . Low strike center of the plate. (sinker) Every batter. The Mets stand there looking at it.

His ABs have been WAY better since it happened. If beating the crap out of each other in the tunnel is a winning recipe for the Mets, I'm all in.

Nobody talks about it...😉 Edit: Does anyone that follows the Mets think the management would handle this event better than the way the players did? They created a joke. Their management would have probably fired some schmuck on the road next week. Just sayin..
