Ross Tucker said the most obvious thing known to man. He might as well follow it with, oxygen is good for us.
Since the days of leather helmets the quarterback position has been the most important position in the league. Is it a coincidence that the NFL goes above and beyond to protect them?

Ross Tucker didn’t put Josh Allen’s name first. What an insensitive asshole. Clearly he has no idea who he’s talking about, Josh Allen was sent to us from God to rid the atrocities of the league. For every touchdown he throws, an angel gets their wings.
I think I can speak for everyone by saying we were duped in the election. Josh Allen should be our next President. And before you tell me he didn’t run and he has no political experience. I tell you this, who do you have more faith in running the Country? My moneys on the kid with the bazooka arm.

In the modern NFL, the QB truly is the end-all-be-all All four teams ran the ball well and had great defense and Good HC's ,what does that say? That the Bills did not run the ball well nor did they have a great defense? |

I thought Watson was better then Brady this season.. right now Watson is a very good QB on a mule team... It's a shame and hopefully the new group taking over can right the team in a couple of years unlike what we have been dealing with as Giants fans.. |

Brady was 3rd overall in yards, 2nd in TD's, 5th lowest in INT's. He's also leading everyone in the postseason. You could argue Wilson's regular season stats are comparable, but we’re splitting hairs. Brady was without question one of the top QB's of 2020. He's had one of his best seasons of his career. |

Since this is a Giants message board, how about discussing how this correlates to the Giants? The Giants will continue to be a subpar franchise still living off SB 42 and 46 until they get improved play at the QB position. 11 TDs and 18 turnovers from a starter ain't gonna cut it going forward, regardless of the reasons why he didn't perform better. We have to get this situation squared away first and foremost if we are going become relevant again.

A QB could be outstanding and still lose a game if their team has a crappy defense. I have Watson in my top 5 despite their team's horrible record. |

A QB could be outstanding and still lose a game if their team has a crappy defense. I have Watson in my top 5 despite their team's horrible record. I think in the long term, wins and losses have at least "some" significance. In a season or two I would say not so much.
There are exceptions however. If a franchise just sucks like the Lions, a great QB can get lost. A guy like Matt Stafford is a far better QB than his record shows. I would definitely put him in the top 10 on today's NFL QB's. Deshaun is another guy. Although he HAS won and gone to the playoffs several times in a short career so far.
But then you look at a guy like Brady, who, as a 43 year old for God's sake, WAY past his prime, and see him take a chronically bad franchise to the NFC championship game, you have to marvel at it.
The guy is amazing.

Dont care what kind of season Brady had. TB is in the AFC championship game and its in big part because him. Like him or not he is arguably the best QB in NFL history.
