my expectations are not too high due to Covid restrictions and the amount of new players on the roster so if we went over 500 I wouldn't be too sad, but having said that I think this team has the potential to surprise a lot of people by winning 10 ..

My man.. You can post in Giants talk when it comes to the team. Roanoke Fan isn’t here to send all the threads he didn’t start to the abyss. To answer your question, 10 wins would be a good season for me. It’s a four game improvement from last year, and it would be the first time in what feels like forever we finished the season above .500

I'm hoping for 10-11 wins. Won't be easy but it will be a damn solid turn around in 17 games. It would be a legitimate shot at a Wild Card and in our Division a possible Division Title.

10 win season would be enough for me this season. Not expecting it so I can see why the betting world is at the 7 or 8 win season..

As for me. My brain works differently. As long as they entertain me it'll be fun, but honestly the same as every year if they don't win the Super Bowl I'll be disappointed. Happy in the moment with any win, disappointed in the end without a Lombardi. I expect us to win double digit games though.

As many as it takes to win the division. My bet is that will be at least 9.

10, preferably 11 and better be competitive in almost every gam, no matter how good the other team is.

I would be happy with a minimum of 9 wins, but a major showing from certain players.

9-8 feels weird, I would like 10 wins and a playoff birth. If no playoffs, I'm not sure you can go into 2022 with this "trust the process" mantra they have right now.

My expectations are for this team to make the playoffs.
Last year I got the feeling that we were watching this team come together similar to the '84 team.
Main, I hope that sense was right.

Remember this is a 17-game season, not 16. 11 would be a dramatic turnaround and clear evidence that the young roster is beginning to lift the franchise back.

I have already stated 10 wins as the water mark. It would mean a shot at the playoffs wild card or Division winner. 9 wins guarantees us a winning season it would be the first time in 4 years. And what 1 winning season in the last 7-8 years ? So as long as we have a winning season it would be a positive improvement and a major step up. 9 wins is a 3 game improvement from last year.
Next year should be a major more definitive jump and a realistic chance at a conference title imo. But we need that step up this year. Most of the predictions I've seen have us just missing a winning season with 7-8 wins finishing 3rd in our division. I would love to see us beat that prediction.

This is what I find confusing from some folks. Coming from 6 wins in year three, a "dramatic" turnaround is the only thing that would be acceptable.
A mediocre season in year 4, after three seasons of 15-33 would be disheartening to say the least.
And to me, 9-8 would be mediocre.

I would be happy with 10 wins minimum, but 11 is my sweet spot with this current roster. I can see 11-6 this season barring any catastrophic injuries.

I'll be happy if they make the playoffs, so whatever number that is.
Any less than 9 wins will be very disheartening. I'd be satisfied with 11, and anything above would be very exciting. But again, happiness regarding the record is dependent on a playoff berth.
Too many variables to give a real answer. Depends on the health of the roster throughout the season, how the games play out, how the Giants look winning and losing, and how the teams on the schedule look prior to the matchups.
My optimistic record prediction is 12-5.
