More Gettleman malpractice ... passes on Slater in the draft and finds out a few months later that Peart isn't the answer.
Cue the excuse-makers in 3...2...1...

"I am, yes. When [Peart] played, he played fine. He played pretty damn well. At some point in time, you've got to let the young kids play." - Dave Gettleman in March on if he was comfortable playing Matt Peart

Wonderful. He can draft another WR who doesn't know his shoe size or a guy who sleeps through meetings ....

So weird the depth chart for offense is a 22 formation. 2 TEs 2 Rbs.

Austin Johnson starts over Danny Shelton. Also Quincy Roche is the backup to Lorenzo Carter.

Kinda disappointed that Toney isn't even our returner. I figure that's his bread and butter. And its not like you need to know the playbook.

That oline is interesting. Disappointed Peart didn't beat out Solder. The other back-ups have only been with NYG for a few days. No one even knows if they can play. Very interesting.
Also disappointed Oljulari didn't beat out Ximines. Xman is just an average player. Not good.

TEM where you at. Do you see who the starting DT is?
Ximines beat out Ojulari, or perhaps that is just an experience thing. Going to work OJ in on the passing downs is my guess. At least we seem to have some LB depth, we have like 50 on the roster.
As for Solder and Peart. This Denver D has a very good pass rush and Peart's strength is in the run game. 2018 Solder was very good, 2019 Solder was horrible. They are leaning on his experience here against a stud pass rush. Will it work out? A few days and we will know.
If we come out with two TEs and two RBs I'm going to laugh. Maybe a way to protect Toney and not have media make up some story where none exists. Looks like all our walking wounded will suit up though.

So weird the depth chart for offense is a 22 formation. 2 TEs 2 Rbs. Does anyone actually think we are coming out like this? I take this witb a grain of salt Especially as we have 12 starters listed on offense.... Last I looked we aren't playing in Canada

The good news is, Jones can see the rush. The bad news, last time Solder played a full season. He was God awful. I know.. I know.. I’m sure Judge will do his stupid musical chair routine again. On running downs, Peart will be at right tackle. Passing downs, they will go with Solder. Hopefully, opposing defenses are as sharp as cooked linguine..
I’m not concerned.. It’s not like Solder led the league in pressures 56. And sacks given up 11. Last time he played a full year. I’m sure being a year older, and less weight in his wallet. Will do wonders..

Thought Davlin Tomlinson's replacement was Shelton. Hmm, figured Shelton was the starter.

Shouldn't you at least see how they play before doing your victory dance? We've watched a Gettleman roster pay the last 3 years (suck). The starting 5 are the exact same (suck) and we watched them suck against the Pats. What else ya want lmao

I am not sure I'd put and NFL inexperienced dumbass back there at the moment. A guy who can't get the right size shoe on his feet should not be entrusted with the decision of what to do with a ball 6 yards deep in the end zone. We have enough catastrophic turnovers without that.

Maybe a 9 year vet has more left in his tank than what a 2nd year player has ever poured into his...
