This is kinda why the entire 2018 season was an exercise in half ass. They start to blow it up with this trade for draft assets. Then take Barkley and sign Solder to try to get Eli one more ring Then start the full scale nuke of the roster when they start 1-7. 2018 is why we are where are. Browns, Colts were right there with us. They're in a much better place than us and that 2018 draft was critical Developing a winning team takes tact, our GM changes his "plan" every year Not actually; particularly with regard to the Browns, I'd need to look more deeply at the Colts to weigh in on that but you know me, I won't because I really don't care enough. Carry on.

Honestly I've never tried, but I doubt I'd miss from any reasonable range. I'm a damn good shot and he's a fairly big target. Such an odd question to ask on a sports message board. Who let Henny Youngman in?

The Giants let JPP go because he asked to go and wanted to go to Tampa because he lived down there. I know that doesn't sound as good as your conspiracy theories but oh well. Oh, that makes perfect sense. My bad, I thought they were professionals and got paid good money to do their job. I want to sleep in my own bed tonight, I guess my boss will let me because I asked nicely. Not only that, it says something about JPP. He saw the writing on the wall before a lot of you homers did. JPP is winning Super Bowls while the Giants have had the worst combined record in the league over the past 3 years and some fans still think we’re trending up because we may win 8-9 games instead of 6. Now that is some funny shit right there. Yeah baby! JPP saw the writing on the wall..awesome. Can you get the powerball numbers from him? Please?

As much as I hate to say it, cowboys have one of the best WR core in the league and their O line is top 5 when healthy, which they were last night. I hope some Giants fans watched the game and have accepted reality of where this team is at and it’s not pretty. 8 of their 11 draft picks were defense including Parsons. It would be hard to not improve their defense from last year. And there offense is as good as any in the league. Dallas with a top offense and an improved defense Washington with a top defense and an improved offense Giants with 2 improved units Philly not there yet The Cowboys gave up 30+ points and had to keep chasing down the Bucs with their offense. This is the same Cowboys team every year that has an impressive offense, but the defense is what stops them from being great. Just adding draft picks doesn't mean they will be better, just look at the Giants OL as an example.

I miss Strahan, Tuck, Osi, Kiwi, JPP, Tolly ect. I miss the winning strategy we used to thrive on. Getting to the opponents passer. I also miss LT, Banks, Carson, Van Pelt, Reasons, ect. I guess our new strategy is stacking the secondary instead which I think is why we are failing so much. I miss the old Giant strategy of beating the shit out of the other teams QB..

Just to think, part of the reason we were able to afford Solder was by letting JPP go. We wouldn’t be where we are today on the O line if it weren’t for letting JPP go. One of the few great moves DG made. I think I would have made that same deal, Solder's reputation was pretty good at the time...

How much I don't know but just improving at say 2-3 players out of the 8 drafties will help them. Especially a high ceiling rookie like Parsons. Great player but a potential head case. Dez Bryant anyone ? This defense of theirs has a real good chance of playing with the lead the majority of the time. There not a top 16-18 defense. But with that offense and Dak winging that ball if they hold teams to 5 less points a game is that good enough ?

Bwahahahahahahaha…not even talking about the actual conversation, haven’t kept up with it, but this is the funniest response I’ve ever seen on this site. Lolololololol..well done!

Stopped trying? Seriously? He just signed a new $62 million dollar contract with $40 million guaranteed and he decided to quit on his team? I'd hate to believe that, man.

when JPP was traded he was pretty much wearing a club and not the player he is today. Good player for sure but not some make or break. He is a great piece on that D. JPP was the last of the Giant warriors. He was the next leader of the Giant D and he deserved that opportunity. He was the Strahan, Tuck nex in line and we pissed that away. The D leadership has been lacking since he left. Just sayin.

JPP was a very good player for the Giants but was never a single driving force. Then he blew up his hand , and the Giants were patient with him, gave him a contract when his career was up in the air .By himself in Tampa he wasn't super but with the others around him he has done well. Disagree . Remember him single handed ruining the Cowgirls playoff run??? Blocked field goal??? A great Giant under appreciated

Yeah, I going to have to disagree with you right there. JPP dominated games before his injury (Not the fireworks injury). JPP was a force when he first came to the Giants. He had 16.5 sacks in 2011 and was first team all-pro and helped the Giants get their last Lombardi. He was SO underrated as a run stuffer

Thats just me tho I am not using hindsight
