He was a good WR in Detroit. Are you just dismissing it because of injury or what? He’s not hollering on the sideline for no reason. He’s not mad because there’s no ice for the Gatorade. He was good, I agree with that. I could not care less what he was hollering on the sideline about. I can only hope he was venting his frustration at this own mistakes that were costing the team. But I don't think so that would take a level of maturity that I do not believe he possesses yet. This franchise is not flagship anymore. Class is gone. And frankly, I couldn’t care less right now because it is our ownership that put us here. Players had nothing do with it. If Golladay sees something ****ed up, he’s going to let it known. That’s how the modern player is. Didn’t it start with Charles Barkley in basketball? Calling out bullshit? Either him or Iverson one of the two. Anyway, we have nowhere to go but up because we ARE bottom of the barrel.

I get that. I’m on to you. But we need to hear these guys. Even if it isn’t Toney and it’s Golladay instead, let it rip. We sit here on this board speculating every day like average fans. These guys deal with the incompetence of this management every single ****ing day. Like I said, I see good football players on this team, something isn’t right and it’s time to blow it up. That's interesting. And here I thought management was dealing with the incompetence of the players every single day. I didn't see any coaches give up TDs on two plays, drop wide open TDs that hit them in the hands, drop long passes that hit them right in the hands or get caught holding on a long TD run. Every single one of those colossal failures was made by a player. Our management is in no position to point the finger at anyone and claim incompetence.

after reading some of Toney's responses to the media i have to question his intelligence level, he talks like he played too many games without a helmet on... We know this already, not the point. I don't know I have seen a bunch of Lion's fans on Twitter saying he had trouble getting open as a Lion. They have been saying that for months long before our season started. They say things like he had good ability to fight for the ball but that he did not get open.

I hope we can say the contract is a good one after the season but after his first 2 games I would understand if people say that contract is a concern. I think he was one of the only starting WR guy out there as a FA. Many FA get overpaid. Maybe we should have tried to trade for a WR instead of getting one via FA? To be honest I was very happy when we signed him but even back then I was concerned about the separation stuff I had read.

Golloday needs to grow up a little, that's all. The last thing any team needs is a loudmouth under performer. Catch the balls thrown your way, run your routes properly and lead by example. Until you can do that, no one is interested in listening to you whine. So far he just seems like Shockey without the couple of good seasons. I agree. My only question is why does every WR on our team have the case of the drops outside of Shepard. Slayton, Engram now Golloday. Are the coaches doing something different here? It's an uncanny coincidence the new guy has drops also. Shepard always had good hands. Slayton and Engram have always dropped passes. Golloday is clearly rusty after missing all of camp. It's not a coincidence.

I think Engram had more trade value (than a Golladay equivalent) but Engram was 1 of only 2 guys to get separation last season so I would have preferred trading picks or from a different position. Look at the trades of some big time WR in recent years. They have been relatively cheap.

It's not a coincidence. You are right. I mean to be candid if Slaton had good hands and good route running he would have been a first round pick instead of a 5th round pick. He has better than 4.4 speed. I think some of the dropped passes are a combination of concentration and confidence. He is still very young. He could still turn that around. Maybe we can get him some individual coaching. Jerry Rice dropped some balls early in his career. I really think he has potential and we really do need his speed.

That is a really tricky question. That is a really high risk/high reward type of trade for both teams. I think that trade would be very unlikely unless there was some sort of conflict. Do the Giants want to give up the guy that could become a 1500 yard a season runner? Does another team want to give up a lot for a guy that might not be able to overcome his injuries? Plus you also have the contract risks. You bring up an interesting question but it is above my pay grade. I would not want to be the GM on either side of that trade. My hope is he becomes the guy that looked amazing as a rookie. He was one of the best rookies I have ever seen. Probably the best Giants rookie I have ever seen.

So I know what some of your feelings are when I tell you guys about the things my son tells me, but I value his opinion and I feel he knows what he’s talking about considering he played and he pays way more attention than I would like to. But he says give it a couple more weeks and let’s see what Toney has to say. That’s right, he said eventually he will spill the beans. Everybody is looking at that Golladay meltdown and wants to know exactly what’s up. If he lies about it or shuts up about it, won’t make a difference. My son said we saw Toney’s personality during preseason. He likes to tweet. He likes to put himself out there. How he handled the media….everything. The kid loves to talk. Not saying arrogance or selfishness has anything to do with it in the least bit. But a first rounder with his personality and confidence who loves to talk during preseason….imagine what he’s going to act like when things really get bad and shit hits the fan. This kid is gonna call everybody out and he’s not going to give one damn shit. We will know shortly exactly where the problems lay on this team and frankly, I want him to say whatever the **** he wants because I want the truth. And he’s going to tell it too. I believe that we will see him compare his old coaches to the ones he has now. I believe he is going to bitch about his playing time and how many times he is targeted. Good! Let him! We don’t draft first rounders to sit the ****ing bench. I think we all suspect the truth here which is Judge is an awful HC, with brain dead coordinators…..the results speak for themselves.

Once those things start, it spreads like wildfire, and you never see outbreaks like what happened on Thursday in good locker rooms..it just doesn’t happen. Right now things are bad, very bad in the Giant’s locker room……the next few days could be very telling based on who is cut, demoted, fired, etc………and things WILL happen.

What the **** is going on in this thread? Are we keeping an eye on him because he is going to get involved in the game or am I supposed to watch his twitter feed for some kind of non-sense? If it is the later then what the heck does your son being smarter than you have to do with it. However if you are a WR and get to the NFL and play several years in the NFL and then need MORE coaching on how to catch the ball you should not be in the NFL. It's insane to blame Golloday's drops on anyone other than him. He didn't have drop problems week 1, week two he did. Rain maybe? Better defender?

Too late…Golladay is already pissed. Think for a second. A guy comes to our team from another. Solid player. Making 72mil right? Second game of the season….ONLY THE SECOND… he’s on the sideline raising Holy He’ll and starting to get in faces. This is damn sure not about money. Football players know football. Coach is coach for a reason…BUT, you can’t tell a good football player much more than what he is willing to absorb. It doesn’t look to me like Golladay wants to lose. It looks like he wants to win and shit is gonna keep hitting the fan on the sidelines whether people want it or not. It is the frustration of a good football player recognizing a faulty system. This is only the tip of the iceberg. You are missing the point here. I agree that Holliday needs to grow up some, but the fact he felt driven to blow up like that to be heard is the message here. It was wrong for him to do it, but the only way he felt he would be heard….THAT is a major sign of a real pissed off locker room. Things will happen in the next 10 days that will point to a less than happy locker room…..just wait a few days.
