Put Toney on the outside instead of Slayton. Shep owns the slot. Introduce a new NFL play to the Giants, the RB screen pass.
Plenty of room for performance improvement on this roster, most importantly, Judge and the coaching staff.

I am not absolving him. Just weird to me we have so many recievers that drops passes. Did he have this problem in Detroit? He had 6 in 2019 (only full season). He has 1 this year so far.
Those are official stats, not everything is ruled a drop.
I thought he had 2 yesterday.

No, that is what is so puzzling here…Toney is definitely a slot WR….not an outside WR which Slayton is. They brought Toney in the replace Shep…..who appears now to be the best WR on the team, but as a slot WR. That is the problem the Giants have….they have two slot receivers. The real question is why in the hell did they pick Toney in the first place. They probably should have traded back again, or taken some other position.

I thought he had 2 yesterday. So did I, but apparently the NFL didn't count them as drops. I'm not exactly sure how they count them.

Four WR set with Toney and Shep in the slots…what the hell is wrong with that? Is that too much for Judge and Garrett to handle? This is too much bullshit.

What is wrong with that……who is blocking for DJ. 4 WRs means you are depending on the 5 offensive linemen to a large degree….that spells major problems for Jones.

If we can’t handle that then here comes 0-17.

He can line up outside without a problem. He did this plenty in college and is doing it in the NFL. If Slayton keeps dropping TDs I think Toney will take his spot. On targets 20+ yards down field in college QBs had a perfect 158.3 passer rating targeting Toney.

No, I think you will see, that Toney is definitely a slot guy……which is where he did his biggest damage in college and will i the NFL. He is terribly quick and sudden, but not long sped….a perfect slot. My guess is Shepard’s co tract ends this year and the Giants plan to let him move on for the much cheaper Toney.

Golloday needs to grow up a little, that's all. The last thing any team needs is a loudmouth under performer. Catch the balls thrown your way, run your routes properly and lead by example. Until you can do that, no one is interested in listening to you whine. So far he just seems like Shockey without the couple of good seasons. You guys are all missing the point. He wasn’t an underperformer where he was at before. All of a sudden….. The guy missed training camp and is learning a new system him and Toney there timing with Jones isn't there yet Niether is Rudolphs KG said it might start slow.

after reading some of Toney's responses to the media i have to question his intelligence level, he talks like he played too many games without a helmet on... We know this already, not the point. it is for me..
