No need for predictions at all. You draft/sign guys that have significant injury histories and then act surprised when they continue to have injury issues when they get to your team. Just dumb And what about players with little injury history that all of a sudden become permanent fixtures on the injury list? I'm obviously not talking about players that are constantly injured. Was Toney CONSTANTLY hurt in college? I honestly don't know. I thought he wasn't though 🤔 He was constantly injured with smaller nagging injuries at Florida. In for a few plays and out for a few plays nursing something. It was one of my red flags on him.

It’s not hindsight when I was dead against it from the start. Two 1st round picks next year is great.. on paper. But, what does it do for us this year? Cowboys got a game changer at linebacker. And the Chargers got a franchise left tackle. We got Dante Hall with a bad wheel. This isn’t about Toney, it’s about the gross negligence from our front office. Look no further then the chumps in suits who build this team. I was against it but not because I knew how good Slater would be. I was against it because I feel like I prefer planning for today. Who knows what will be tomorrow. Now with that said some might say DG did an unselfish thing. He may not be here next season when we use that extra 1st round pick. I do wish we went for Slater but that is just because I realize we are not going anywhere until this oline is fixed. Going in to this season with this oline was beyond a huge mistake. Whether by draft, FA, or trade the oline had to be fixed. Its like going in to the season with a car with 2 blown out tires. It just never made any sense. Always plan for today, the future has yet been written. If Gettleman wants to do an unselfish act, he’ll call it quits before I finish this sentence. The Giants went into a high stakes game with a pair of twos with the offensive line. It’s not like we had the great wall of China here. We had a bunch of kids who were still wet behind the ears. Instead of replenishing the line, they avoided it like the plague. If it’s not the record that will do him in, it will sure be the blatant negligence on Gettlemans part with the line.

I agree about the oline. Last season they were ranked 31st in the NFL. Then we let Zeitler go. Then we have injuries. Our oline was horrible before. Now it is just tragic. No excuse not to draft, trade or sign some starters for the oline if you want the team to win. Right now I see 1 real starter on our Oline. What team wins with 1 starter on the line?

Your trying to use a band aid to fix a flesh wound. Its gushing blood. The whole giants organization from the top on down is a disaster. Forget about the college picks its the people scouting and big decision makers that are completely flawed. Its the whole watermelon that's rotten. You can wish all you want but Tinkerbell isn't showing up to wave her magic wand. Expect shitty NY Giants football until the very top people get out of the way. Until then complain all you want but nothing of significance is going to change.

Prove me wrong Silverspoon I'm hearing things to the contrary on that. But until I see it happen, we have every reason to doubt. Honestly, I am feeling confident that we’re going to see the change that everyone is expecting. Especially if Judge is out too.

I just want to see him put into play under Kitchens game plan. I want to see the kid finally get a frigging TD.

Toney was just put on the Covid 19 list.
I think he should just retire already. He had a great run.

Still early but Toney is starting to look like another bust.

He's exciting to watch but starting to feel concerned Toney's game won't translate to the NFL with all the juking. That will get him injured in the pros, that was one of the knocks on him from scouts had last year....hope I'm wrong. Bateman has more yards this year and has only started 2 games. Had a 100+ yard game with a backup QB on Sunday.

My guess is his "oblique" is fine and he doesnt want to risk anything for this shit season

This was my biggest worry. He always had nagging injuries at Florida. Exciting player, but will never see a full season. We decided pre-draft that we were going to fix that.........or we completely missed it. Getty knew and ignored it.. want some fries to go with your order?

To be fair many people said great trade 6 months ago. If we took Slater or Parsons they’d be killing Gettleman for not making the trade. if they took parsons people will still be complaining about the oline because the offense would not have been any better. If they took slaytor that still probably would not be enough to fix the oline so the offense will still be bad so people will still be complaining.

At 4-9, soon to be 4-10, It wouldn't shock me if more starters fall out with "injuries" the rest of the yr. Why bother blowing out your knee in another lost season. Besides, Judge doesn't have the cojones to bench starters for substandard play. nor strip them of the laughable "Captain's" patch which none of them rate.

We would be having a defensive player of the year candidate. We will always be complain about the line, but having an impact player at linebacker would at least give us a reason to watch on Sundays.
