This was my biggest worry. He always had nagging injuries at Florida. Exciting player, but will never see a full season.

This is so enjoyable i’m really hoping the NFL extends the schedule to 18 games.

I wonder if he can make a rap song about hammies, quads and calves using some P-Funk as a sample?

ugh, the people that think that the firing of Garrett is going to make Toney's production explode may be in for a surprise. I wonder how he will handle the criticism if these injuries keep on coming up.

Until I just looked I had no idea KT leads our team with 35 catches in 9 games. That is the good. The bad is Shep is second with 32 catches in only 5 games. Man we missed Shep and Thomas when they went down. Golladay has 20 catches which is pretty iconic at 20 million lol

John Ross has a quad problem. Either, these speedsters are not stretching properly or lifting too much (. Lower legs ). Or, maybe is the hard turf ? IDK
Didn’t OBJ , have the same problem , in his first year ?

It's a tease of what he could be on this team if he could stay on the field.
No consistency being constantly hurt hard to figure your offense from week to week definite reliability factor
He is a playmaker, the Giants staff can hopefully figure out a way to keep him on the field

In other news, Parsons and Slater are having great rookie seasons. With friends like Gettleman, who needs enemies..

It's as if there was a concerted effort to purposely bring a once great organization to the brink of collapse. Maybe someone wants to buy us and they are trying to drive the asking price? A fan can dream.

In all seriousness, people tend to forget how violent football is. It isn't the player's fault that they are injured a lot. Shit just happens. The first thing I would do if I were a pro athlete is hire both a nutritionist and a personal trainer before I did anything else.

But I love Toney, he's one of the players who is going to be part of the solution here.

That team is with linebackers the way we have been with IDLmen since Cofield..a hamster wheel of being good but always having to replace guys with assets that could be used elsewhere (they cut Smith,Vander Esch didn't even get his option year as he has a degenerative neck issue, ect.)

IDK Didn’t OBJ , have the same problem , in his first year ? OBJ was hamstring I think. He missed 4 pre season games and the first 4 regular season games. Then put up those monster rookie season numbers in 12 games. Amazing.

The first thing I would do if I were a pro athlete is hire both a nutritionist and a personal trainer before I did anything else. It's definite part of the game no doubt Take Saquon for example he is about as fit and nutrition rich as you can get... He takes that kind of awkward hit out of bounds and takes a year to recover his knee Then this year, he starts to shake off the rust and find his game then rolls his ankle after the play was over! That is about as random an injury/bad luck as you can get. Could not believe it when I saw it. Plus, there are those players that go their whole career without even a band-aid which is amazing to me.

“Devonte Smith is so small he’s going an injury bust in the NFL.” - Giants fans hot take circa April 2021 Lol, the same people were saying that Kyler Murray was going to be a bust as well. IMO, people just say silly stuff to convince themselves that their team did right by not getting the player.
