........I'm now going for the quinella by predicting that Jimmy G. will be our starting QB week 1 next year.
I can see us keeping DJ as a viable back up.

Jimmy G behind the Giant offensive line would be knocked out for the season in August. Team needs a reliable, sturdy QB, not a porcelain doll.

I think the new GM with bring it solid vets to give us a competent line.

I want Russell Wilson.......bad Age and cost are the only problems I have with that. Sign him, and you have little money to spend elsewhere…….which is one reason the Seahawk offensive line is so bad…..it is worse than the Giants……really!

That's how you kill the rebuild day one

And what premium pick that could be used elsewhere of need (mainly O line or front 7)would you give up? And this guy is as fragile if not moreso than Jones Jones is fine as the bridge guy if he is healthy

That's how you kill the rebuild day one LOL I doubt the Seahawks are going to expect any team to give them two first round picks for an aging QB.

That's how you kill the rebuild day one This of course is the 600 lb gorilla in the room. S.F. just might get a 1st rd pick for Jimmy G. Maybe more. We would all love Jimmy next year. Though as already been said I don't think he holds up it's a matter of how many games does he miss. Not if he misses any. Even with I assuming a quite improved OL. At least 2 spots with above average players, hopefully 3. 2 via the Giants top 3 draft picks. And hopefully somehow getting 1 in FA. I don't think any of us want to give up those 1 st rd picks. This is one positive that Getty left us. We need this draft to be successful desperately. I'd rather have these draft choices. Even though Jimmy G. would be a tremendous gift to this putrid offense.

I don't even want to see DJ back with the team next year. NOthing against him, and hope nothing but the best. We moved on from the GM, HC... I want a new QB in here as well, but really, I don't see that happening with the options that will present themselves.. Guess we'll see.

I know I am in the minority here, but I feel DJ can be the guy with the right coaching and support. Clearly a quality backup is needed given his injury history, that should be much easier to do than try to get a marquis FA QB and kill our other options.

Jimmy G has too many troubles staying on the field, I simply don't trust his health. I would also not be willing to part with high picks to get Russell W, we need to build the trenches with those picks. That needs to be priority #1, 2 and 3!!

The new GM will have his hands full with this disaster.
Why have a top QB when the rest of the offense is a total mess from top to bottom.

No cap space for either of those vets .If the O line isn't fixed there is no point.

That won't be our offensive line week 1 next week. I think the new GM with bring it solid vets to give us a competent line. I think we draft Linderbaum and Charles Cross at 5 and 7. That goes a long way to fixing the problem.

They won’t take 3 straight lineman lol. Too many homes to fill, pass rush is right up there.

Yes, let's get Jimmy G.
Then bring in Josh McDaniels for the HC.
And then we can chase them out with pitchforks in 2 years as well.

Boy...McDaniels seems to be a very solid OC, and possibly skilled at developing a QB, but as a HC? Probably a reason you don't hear his name mentioned often. And I'll go ahead and say the name...Doug Peterson
