IMO, this will be the draft we will really begin our search for the next Giants franchise QB. Some big names, some unknowns. We got another year to watch this kids play before putting our stamp on anything. 2022 I feel like will be a FA on a short deal, and DJ is healthy. PFF Top 10 List1. BRYCE YOUNG, ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE 2. CALEB WILLIAMS, TRANSFER PORTAL 3. SPENCER RATTLER, SOUTH CAROLINA GAMECOCKS 4. C.J. STROUD, OHIO STATE BUCKEYES 5. SAM HARTMAN, WAKE FOREST DEMON DEACONS 6. GRAYSON MCCALL, COASTAL CAROLINA CHANTICLEERS 7. BRENNAN ARMSTRONG, VIRGINIA CAVALIERS 8. DILLON GABRIEL, OKLAHOMA SOONERS 9. KEDON SLOVIS, PITTSBURGH PANTHERS 10. TYLER VAN DYKE, MIAMI HURRICANES SLEEPER TO WATCH: J.J. MCCARTHY, MICHIGAN WOLVERINES

Fromm was on that list 2 years before he was eligible also. So was Trevor Lawrence and Justin Herbert... Obviously the list isnt bulletproof and you will have duds. Its PFF after all. Just getting a list on some guys I think will be in play for us. Going to be interesting where Caleb Williams transfers to.

That indeed is a much more solid list than this year

We’ll see but temper the hype. I was never a big fan of Tua, especially with the injury. I think it had to do with the southpaw action though. He never screamed star to me. Joe Burrow did for sure. Trevor Lawrence did for sure. I thought Baker did as well but he had some limitations. Kenny Pickett will be an interesting look this year. He exploded this season like Burrow did, but not getting the same hype. Bryce Young looked great until Georgia ate his lunch.

Against NFL Corners and Safeties, they love those types of QBs.

Young has made all the throws.

Bryce Young looked great until Georgia ate his lunch. he was very accurate but the hype was off the charts from day one. Anytime he got hit he got up slow. Yes, the injury was bad too. Now we’re onto Young. Imo, that GA game is a different game if his receivers are healthy and one strike to the freshman (the one handed try) has to get both hands up. Regardless, the college game is so much different. Lot of Young’s throws are easy. Rather a critical eye and higher acumen discussions than the pom pom waiving rah rah’s. Pickett? Not sure what he is. Anytime i see that Pitt uniform you know who i think of. I wanted him badly yet we had Simms smh. Thankfully the Jets didn’t take him.

Not the best record of producing good qbs but transferring with a coach with a record of producing 2 good ones ...uncharted territory

why bother even looking now?
A whole college season has to play out. There will be risers, fallers, and injuries. Also Jones will finally get it and it wont matter!!....(maybe)

Jake Haener, Fresno State. Will Levis, Kentucky. Anthony Richardson, Florida. Jaren Hall, BYU.

You know teams play Spring ball and scouts watch that stuff. It's never too early to scout players and if you think you can wait until the last minute then you end up being Dave gettleman. So if scouts are doing their jobs and PFF has a ton of scouts...then it's a good starting point..it's not gospel yet but I'd be lost without a starting point. I already know who is going to be the #1 pick in the 2023 NBA draft...Victor Wembanyama. Snooze, you lose...

The Giants will win just enough games to put them out of position to draft the next stud QB There will be QBs that slip. As of right now, it sounds like Stroud and Young are 1-2, within the top 10, with everyone else possibly later on. Obviously, the season will determine a bunch of it. I liked Pickett last year and he fell to 20 to Pitt. Never know.

Here is a New Name getting some heat I'll be paying attention to, Stanford's Tanner McKee. 6'6'' 226lb Junior.
- Great Footwork, Lower Half, Base to complete a variety of throws - Live Accurate Arm, very good at hitting a small window, led all Pac-10 QBs in accuracy for 2021 despite not having 1 drafted player around him - Negatives however are he shows some "panic throws" that led to turnovers
Got to be honest, watching these highlights, he reminds me of Daniel Jones.
