The Giants will win just enough games to put them out of position to draft the next stud QB There will be QBs that slip. As of right now, it sounds like Stroud and Young are 1-2, within the top 10, with everyone else possibly later on. Obviously, the season will determine a bunch of it. I liked Pickett last year and he fell to 20 to Pitt. Never know. Don't be so sure about Young. He is under 6 foot and skinny ... his size will be an issue.

He will put up great stats again, possibly another Heisman. He is mobile. He is accurate. On a title contender. I think teams could see a bit of Russell Wilson in him. Im pretty sure I like him better than Stroud. Ohio St QBs dont pan out. Still a risk at Bama, but its a better track record.

Still a risk at Bama, but its a better track record. Guaranteed that he’s not 6 foot or 195. Most of the successful shorter QB’s have been guys with thicker builds (Murray, Wilson). This dude is skinny Doesn’t mean he can’t be a good NFL QB, but his size will definitely be a draft issue

"“If you include the juniors who could come out, you’re probably looking at 12 guys who could go in the first or second round,” said one NFL scout who implied that 10 of the 12 quarterbacks rated as possible first-round picks when compared to the most recent draft. “At this moment, I have a higher grade on 10 of them than I did on Kenny Pickett at this point last year.”
Another scout put it in slightly different terms: “There are going to be teams that have no need at quarterback that will take a few of these guys because the value is just too good. It’s like when Green Bay had (Brett) Favre and took Aaron Rodgers. At a certain point, you have to take them because the value is so great.”
One personnel man went as far to compare this class to the historic 1983 group that included six quarterbacks drafted in the first round, including three eventual Hall of Famers (John Elway, Dan Marino and Jim Kelly).
“I don’t know if any of them are as good as Elway or Marino, but you have more guys who you think have a real chance to make it and be impact guys … if you had a draft where you had five guys who could be as good or better than Kelly, you’d be damn excited. That’s what this is looking like,”"

A few could go top ten. I see possibly 5 before the season even starts....it's deep with raw talent, but we need a show me season from some of these juniors. Once you add in the reach factor, it sure would be nice to see Daniel Jones have a career year and play trade. Nah, who am I kidding...Jones will be gone, and a new QB shall guide us to heaven, or hell

I'm pretty much 50/50 on him in my mind. He does need to start strong though.

His numbers will be lower than the top QBs, but he also wont have 1 offensive player drafted on his team outside of himself.

Also playing for Shaw he in the classic old school Walsh/Gruden WCO and that will translate almost to plug and play should he go to a team running some form of this offense

But yeah I'm hoping, unlike last year, all these kids play up to their hype 1.If Jones proves no good we probably have a top 10 pick and hopefully one of these guys align with what we want.
2. If somehow Jones is legit but we have a top 10 pick (Robinson fails and we lose a lot of 45-41 games where Jones looks great but the other team gets the ball last...Ala the 2015 season )
We can trade back for a ransom(or a blue chip at another position....I think Georgia has an IDL better than Davis this year......

What do you think about Tanner McKee from Stanford? I'm also on the Levis bandwagon...he's got everything the Giants offense is screaming for as a potential baby Josh Allen

Jalen Carter, but he's exactly opposite the type of player that Jordan Davis was. Davis is IMHO, a better prospect with his weight under control. He takes on two blocks and still penetrates, while Carter is more of a single gap type player and gets washed on doubles, as he should being only 310 pounds versus a Davis and his 340. Davis is from what I am hearing killing it in Filly. We will have our hands full against that train twice a year....

I dont even want to think how he is going to destroy our interior OL. I knew Philly would get him too with all those mid 1st round picks they had. And I can't believe they got Dean in the 3rd.

All reports from Philly I've seen about Dean is he hasn't looked good at all so far I think there were some questions about hin at the combine. A man of that talent should have been taken in rd 1. The fact that he fell to the 3rd rd is telling

IMO, this will be the draft we will really begin our search for the next Giants franchise QB. Some big names, some unknowns. We got another year to watch this kids play before putting our stamp on anything. 2022 I feel like will be a FA on a short deal, and DJ is healthy. PFF Top 10 List1. BRYCE YOUNG, ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE 2. CALEB WILLIAMS, TRANSFER PORTAL 3. SPENCER RATTLER, SOUTH CAROLINA GAMECOCKS 4. C.J. STROUD, OHIO STATE BUCKEYES 5. SAM HARTMAN, WAKE FOREST DEMON DEACONS 6. GRAYSON MCCALL, COASTAL CAROLINA CHANTICLEERS 7. BRENNAN ARMSTRONG, VIRGINIA CAVALIERS 8. DILLON GABRIEL, OKLAHOMA SOONERS 9. KEDON SLOVIS, PITTSBURGH PANTHERS 10. TYLER VAN DYKE, MIAMI HURRICANES SLEEPER TO WATCH: J.J. MCCARTHY, MICHIGAN WOLVERINES
