They have to be numb at this point. That looked like the dreaded turf ACL tear we've seen before. That is horrible. Feel bad for them. I was actually talking about their QB stats before I heard about the injury. Tough break. Torn ACL for Zach Wilson. A moment of silence for our Jets brethren.

The team is on the right path but you have to give it more time then 1 preseason game. Good God!

Seemed like Patriot defense was paying no attention to Colin Johnson. He's very skinny, didn't appear that fast, and his fumble was ugly. Just not that sure how good a receiver hd is. Time will tell.

It's a shame to have had a very good showing ruined by one play, I couldn't tell why that ball came out there, he certainly wasn't clutching it properly.

Last I heard, the Jets are in a good cap space situation. Maybe Jimmy G. would be a good solution, if they offered a short but enticing contract.

What a great first game by new coaching regime. Fun football to both watch and root for. At least most fans see hope.
As Giants determined action on both sides of the ball. So many good veterans and young players. Good foundation to build on in future pre-son games.
Lots of nick-picking (in most Giant fans DNA) will continue but proved misplaced. Daboll will make changes, add good players, and elevate those who have earned starting. Then there will be no glaring weakness on this team although some posters will continue to say so.
When season starts playing the Giants will be opponents nightmare, not the other way around.

Before the season starts, the Giants still need to add two new offensive lineman, two corners, and one tight end.

Yeah some O lin3 depth is needed...judging by how many injuries have already happened to many teams league to their O lines even Jags like we had will be at a premium Let our corners we have play out the year, let's see what we have

But I thought the OL depth was encouraging the other night. What we really need is the swing T to emerge.

Over 1,300 players to be released so teams can get down to 53-man limit.
Giants will pick-up up 5-players released by other teams and by a trade or two. The five will add more depth than the last five that would otherwise make the Giants 53-man roster. All's good if they pull this off which they should.

Giants draft so good that by the end of the season 5 of the Giants picks (Thibs, Neal, Robinson, Flott, and Beaver) will be considered in hindsight 1st round worthy, and the rest noless than 3rd or 4th rounders. See no busts.

I'm watching a replay of the Panthers/Commodes game. Apparently they were broadcasting the Commodes announcing teams. These guys are actively rooting for the Commodes. It was like listening to 2 guys in a bar, not a supposed professional broadcast team. Makes Banks and Papa seem like Emmy winners, holy crap!!

sometimes I just can't help myself...It does sound fitting though, doesn't it... oh yeah..it does. Washing was the team in the NFCE that I never had an ill will towards. Not sure why but I think John Riggins had a lot to do with it. I have deep hatred for Philthy and the Cowturds though. Different hate for each but hate none the less. When the Cards were in the NFCE I didnt hate them either.

The Skins and 49ers were the most bitter rivals in the 80’s b/c of the Super Bowls with Philly a pest and Dallas tailing behind. Besides the Giants big wins, the humiliation the mouthy Redskins were served on Black Sunday was the greatest

Washington was the lesser of 3 evils ...Cards irrelevant

Add in the mouthy Theismann, that hog band and Hail to the Redskins they were most hated team. That hatred and rivalry continued right though the 80’s and until Parcells left. Besides the 87 scab year and 91 when Parcells left the Skins were fortunate to win Super Bowls. Especially fortunate when Cunningham went down opening day in ‘91. 83’s Black Sunday was fantastic. Riggins in a Daily News cartoon. A bunch of Raider heads across the field with Riggings standing in the endzone saying “who is going to take my head off?” hanging in the Raiders locker room. Theismann scrambling and screwing up, Hayes and Hanes embarrassing the fun bunch. It was great

I will admit, I even had that poor excuse for football(Giants) late last season on each week. Something tells me our offense will be easier on the eyes this season.

I have never done that. last season I turned the game off several times and even missed one entirely. That was a first. They were so effing bad.

It was great by the 80's my dislike of the pokes and iggles was monumental...commodes or whatever their name is now could never overtake that, and as GT said above, the Cards were mostly irrelevant.
