I get it and if Toney is injured again like last season then he's a problem.. Still a high end FA and a 1st and 2nd these last two years has to be a solution not a detriment.. The 1st and 2nd should help. Is there a time we stop referring to KG as a high end FA? If we go by play on the field as a Giant is he a top 3 wr? So we can also stop thinking that Jones is a starting QB.. Lets just go by the play on the field we have witnessed or is there a chance that both just had a bad season?? So I'm also expecting that you're finally giving Slayton this same doubt you are with KG.. Lets get rid of them all!!

young...lol....56 I am well aware of the rivalries. O just dont hate them like the Philthy and the Turds. Just the way my fandom evolved. well, in the early 80’s the Skins and their “Fun bunch” were as obnoxious as the Cowboys in 07. Add in the mouthy Theismann, that hog band and Hail to the Redskins they were most hated team. That hatred and rivalry continued right though the 80’s and until Parcells left. Besides the 87 scab year and 91 when Parcells left the Skins were fortunate to win Super Bowls. Especially fortunate when Cunningham went down opening day in ‘91. 83’s Black Sunday was fantastic. Riggins in a Daily News cartoon. A bunch of Raider heads across the field with Riggings standing in the endzone saying “who is going to take my head off?” hanging in the Raiders locker room. Theismann scrambling and screwing up, Hayes and Hanes embarrassing the fun bunch. It was great I had just started watching football at that time, and was impressed by the rivalry the Redskins brought. They really controlled the L.O.S., but our team overcame both them and the powerhouse Niners. It really was a great time, with our division being considered the toughest. It's really a shame that they couldn't find some way to do the team name change to reflect the glory of those Hogs, now it's just snickering material and their old fans have nothing to keep in tradition.

But people who want change just for the sake of change, tend to find something in nothing, and have the loudest voices.

I will admit, I even had that poor excuse for football(Giants) late last season on each week. Something tells me our offense will be easier on the eyes this season. no Jake Fromm helps.

Well, in this case it became politicized, and likely many who don't follow football got their noses where they don't belong. Our last bastion was breeched, so now everyone can be miserable.

Our last bastion was breeched, so now everyone can be miserable. My clients from Cleveland are saying their MLB team is now being called the "guards" for short. Blech! That was one of the best logos in sports and their long time fans hate the new name. Never understood when a name is used in a positive manner for a revered sports team with high end athletes how it can be construed as a negative.

I was in Cleveland on business a few times, but never noticed these stone guardians. At least it has something to do with that area's history. But why the name Indians is offensive, and Vikings are not, I have no idea.
