Schmolz hates NY so much. Bummer this clown is in the booth. Even worse he's not very insightful...only about 10% of the time does he say something meaningful. Just a guy trying to sound smart.

There was no way the Yankees were going to hold that offense in check forever. Lol, another rundown resulting in runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out.

3 run shot ended it.
Greinke on the ropes in the first and ROMINE should have been up. Or Urshela.
This series is over after tomorrow.
Just like the Boston series last year, guys getting on but cant score without the longball.

Today's hitters can't bunt for a base hit to save their lives either. Bunting for a hit has become a lost art. Brett Butler was one of the best to ever do it. I don't even see "bunt hits" as a baseball stat anymore. All about the longball. I mean during the shift, these players can't even try to bunt the ball the opposite way.

Analytics have turned the stolen base and the bunt into endangered species in the AL.

Good night. They've seen too much of our relievers. Green didn't look like himself either. Really though just pathetic offense meant we had to keep stretching the pen while not stressing theirs

And with that 3 run home run, the season has ended. This offense is absolutely a joke.

Man did Aaron chase a bad one there. Note whenever ump makes a bad call (like he did in called strike 1) seems to play with a batter's mind and they get KO'd.

I didn't expect them to win a series against Houston. The most disappointing thing about this thrashing is the total no-show of the offense since the 1st game.

Probable WS winners are showing their teeth Nothing to be ashamed of... They will make a mockery of Washington A very well coached team that does everything well both in the field and on the bases. We only won with superior talent and with all the injuries that went out the window. I still say if we went in with a healthy bettances and Stanton we would have had a chance. But at some point the injuries reached a tipping point and imo that pair was it.

If the wind holds I think it's blowing in opposite direction towards right Yankees line up typically favors power to that part of the park. As disappointed as I am I will still watch and root for a victory over verlander. Dont need to see altuve and rest of those creeps celebrating at the stadium.

If they dont get Cole in 2020, Im not watching them. Its too frustrating knowing what can fix this teams problems and them being cheap as hell. Stanton is a major issue going forward. He is a DH for 8 more years who can be fooled easily by good pitching. I wouldnt resign Judge (only because they bend the knee on Stanton). In fact, if we can trade him I would. I LOVE Judge, but he is useless here with Stanton clogging the OF/DH role. You can not have both high HR high K guys in this lineup. And I would see what we could get for Sanchez as well. Might as well. Go HARD after pitching, since, its what wins WS rings.
GET COLE 2020!
This is my last post here guys.
Im disgusted and disgruntled.
Its exactly how I knew it would pan out not getting starting pitching.
Good enough to be good, but not good enough to be great.
Lets hope the Giants figure some shit out.

Stanton in for incarcion (sp?)
Also gotta love CCs closing statement ....another epic Yankee career ends in epic fashion.
''I told (my wife) Amber last night that this was the best way for it to end for me..."
I mean seriously this thought of "going out on top" never appealed to me. That implies you had something left.
