TOOMER LOL i wa sat that one just like the rest ir was one of the few highlights of that 4-5 year periods. That was the breakout play that ignited Toomer's career, which up until that time was kinda middling Yea he was up and down had the ACL early think second year took him a while to find his footing but once he did he was a consistent contributor.

It sounds like DB was handcuffed by Reeves,. Dave Brown was handcuffed by his own ability.

Ah good ol' #27...Is it just me or did Rodney look like he was running in sand but got to where he needed to go? That man was such a big back One of my favorite Giants. If you think about it, what Giant fan didn’t like Hampton? He played on some bad Giant offenses where he was the offense. 5 straight years of 1,000 yards. And yeah he was a big back, but had great vision and was a natural runner. He should be in the ring of honor. He was a great Giant. All time great back that they then gave his number too....... Ron Dayne 🤦♂️

Oh I suffered through those years, i was just too young to remember who that draft played out. im 42. I was just that sort of casual bobo that only knew 8 names on the team. Gotcha...I'm 55...got a few years on ya but you know what I'm talking about then... im 61 so i know what both of you are talking about. Guys our age cant afford years like those again lol. We need DJ to be the real deal and i know 2 games is only a small sample but i think he can be the franchise qb they thought he could be when they drafted him. I think the giants are going to shock a lot of people this year. D playing better to but dont know if they can overcome all the injuries but they have reminded me of the 07 D that started out 0-2 and gave up 80 points in 2 games and up to 97 by halftime in game 3. This D gave up 91 in 2.5 games. Then only gave up 3 to TB in the 2nd half ( a team that hung 55 on the rams) and only 3 total to the Skins. So 6 in 1.5 games. Not saying they are the 07 D by any stretch that went 10-1 on the road including the playoffs but you can see something is different
