I think we're pretty healthy compared to Jets fans. IDK i do have an ulcer. I hear being confrontational on a regular basis creates ulcers.

Seriously, we are in wait-and-see mode. He had a great first press conference. Terrific, that is much better than if he bombed however it's all about production and wins on Sundays.
So far so good that's about it. Let's go!

I liked the no nonsense approach to the press conference. All business. Except for the minute of so that he talked about his family. Then he lighted up, cracked a joke or two. Once he got back to football, all no nonsense again. Very good job, gets a nice start to his time here. I really look forward to seeing the product on the field. Should be a totally different vibe than what we've been seeing the last 6ish years.

I listened to the press conference on my way home from work. I had no idea what to expect, hell I had no idea what his voice sounded like before today. What can I say, he said everything a fan wants to hear. Passionate about football, treating players like men and individuals, being a teacher to these young men and putting them in the best situations to succeed. Punch you in the mouth football. Now, what fan didn’t get excited listening to this young man? If anyone says no check your pulse you’re dead.
Did he change the detractors minds? Probably not, this was just a press conference. And last time I checked you don’t win anything off the field. But he did show something I liked, he wanted to be here. I like to hear that from my coach, yeah he didn’t have many opportunities but it’s great to hear that he wanted to be a NY Giant head coach. This is a great franchise that has sucked the ever loving life out of me as of late. I’m beyond tired of the loses, the excuses and the pathetic play on the field. So every decision this franchise has made I just look at it like just another blunder to add to the list. I do have optimism about this hire, why? Because it’s very un Giant like. I would have never guessed in a million years they would hire some no name special teams coach. But they did, and I love it. The Giants way is over, it was great 4 championships but that is long gone. The league is changing and it’s time we change with it. Clearly it’s obvious what Mara and Tisch saw in Judge, a man with conviction and the fight to make a once proud franchise great again. This could all change next year at this time after another losing season. But as of today, we have optimism. And as a fan that’s all we ask for. That our team is doing what’s right for the franchise and most importantly the fan base that is beyond loyal. We’re the blue collar fans, we work hard and expect the same from our team. And win or lose we want our guys to leave it all on the field.
Congratulations Judge on having the best job in the world. You for a brief moment cracked one of the most critical fans of this fan base.

This guy at GM still scares the living crap out of me. I wonder what his computer folks think of this He isn't exactly wrong However maybe its because really good modern NFL offenses have so many dynamic threats in the passing game teams can't stack the box,so the smart teams get run heavy until the outside guys get favorite matchups Found this stat

So...who's getting ahead of themselves, exactly? Has anyone predicted anything based on his press conference? We like the guy's demeanor. Get over it. I am predicting 10 wins. But I did that last week before I ever heard of this guy.
I agree that this team is going to turn quickly with good coaching.

I like this quote ! "Be flexible with your personnel. Don’t try to shove square pegs in a round hole. Figure out what you have.” Do you think this remark implies Bettcher ? Trying to fit players into his system that don't fit ? I never understood this approach about coordinator's individual system. Instead , use the individual player's strengths and stay away from his weaknesses. And that's another big part of the Patriots success. Have players that can adapt from week to week to the game plan dependent upon your opponent. This could be good. Time will tell The offense and game plan will change week adjust tio the teams your playing kid said a lot of things that make a ton of sense.

This guy at GM still scares the living crap out of me. I wonder what his computer folks think of this He brought talent into the team through the draft. We have several building blocks at key positions. Yes he could have done better in free agency. I don't see the need to be worried about Gettlemen though. He can identify and bring in talent. Its up to the coaches to make it work.

Finally had a chance to listen to the presser and my take coming from playing sports and not from a fans perspective, this guy is money. I’ve always appreciated coaches that were direct yet could properly teach what they were preaching. A coach and I got into it on the sidelines once cause of a play I made. His instruction of the play was awful, so in turn I didn’t run it exactly how he wanted. Be clear and concise and you’ll get clear and concise results from me. If I don’t get that type of instruction, I just tune out and wing it. Players are going to like playing for him especially cause he’ll put them into positions to make the play a lot easier.

Not sure if this was said but I thought it was worth mentioning that it was John Mara who called Joe to let him know he got the job. Not Dave Gettleman. There are those who have stated they thought Gettleman hired Shurmur and that he was involved with the hiring of the coaching staff. Hopefully that will be laid to rest now. those are the same people who said Mara hired MacAdoo Reese had nothing to do with it, in the next breath Dave hired Shurmur. They all have a hand in it DG Abrems and the owners but the owner has the last word.

I'll openly admit this constant losing and dysfunction has really turned me into a bitter , pissed off Giants fan .. however , my first impression of coach Joe Judge couldn't have been better . This guy is sharp , speaks well, and has a great natural command presence . His demeanor couldn't be faked . That is a confident fella and I can see now why the Giants really liked him. Even if it turns out he doesn't know the difference between offense and defense, for today , he had me at hello and feeling like we are already for the better . Welcome Coach Judge

Don't take my word for it, look up John T Molloy's New Dress For Success
Whenever you see brown, think of a human biological function associated with it (btw for those of the progressive mind-set I'm talking dress not skin tone) thats what other see and think..
As an audio aide I have included a nice tune by a well-known recording artist that encapsulates the feeling (ya'll can thank me l8tr)

If you don't think brown shoes go with a blue suit of any kind, you're color blind. Plus I believe they were cap toe shoes. Looked great.
