I wish CBS would still do their round projections for players. I would love doing mocks based off of their projections and seeing how it would evolve throughout the year. I also think that it was more even as far as someone really good not slipping into the 4th or 5th like the simulator does every once in a while. I do love the concept of that simulator though I'm sure there are better options with the premium version. There is also a draft phone app that I haven't tried yet.

We got our 1st cornerstone with Hernandez last season, now time to build the rest of the line which could be together for YEARS to come. Jonah and Dieter are extremely versatile and could play multiple spots on the OL, Im not sure about Gaillard since I just learned about him recently but most Centers can also moonlight at OG. If we had a line consisting of Solder, Hernandez, Gaillard, Dieter, and Williams that would build a foundation for Barkley to SHATTER every rb record out there, as well as building a nice pocket for Eli's successor to step into so he wont get david carr syndrome, LOL

6: R1P6 LB DEVIN WHITE LSU
Hopefully we would trade down a "few" spots to secure the best linebacker prospect I have seen play in a long while. Since going to a 3-4, the linebacker position has become far more important on our defense, so how about we grab the future defensive captain, a three down linebacker that some compare as the next Ray Lewis? After watching his play in the SEC, I don't argue that possibility....this kid is THAT good a prospect. Luckily for us, we are loaded at edge rusher this draft, corner and of course a few teams will trade up for the reached QB...and bam, you have the ability to trade back to a team and secure a high next year pick, while getting a draft steal. He would be in play at 6 this year anyway...and any other year a top 3-5 pick.
37: R2P5 C GARRETT BRADBURY NC STATE
We need a center to think, move athletically and never miss a blocking assignment. This kid could be the glue for the offensiv line. Risner could play right tackle if we drafted him in this spot, but watching some film on him, he tends to get beat by speed and lunges a lot. Risner is also more of a power blocker, and not sure I want him at center over the better zone blocking prospect. With Bradbury and White, we would have possibly the future offensive and defensive captains, and immediate starters and upgrades.
108: R4P6 EDGE OSHANE XIMINES ODU
Doubt he lasts after the very important combines, yes the place where small school freaks like Khalil Mack make their name. At round 4, a pipe dream as of now, he is an impact player who might end up as a top ten pick if he nails the combine as most expect him to.
132: R4P30 OT KALEB MCGARY WASHINGTON 137: R4P35
Watching tape of him...he is solid...has the tools to plug and play the right side. I am sold, but he will also not be lasting past the 2nd round.
S MIKE EDWARDS KENTUCKY 143: R5P4
A steal in round 4. Will be a great special teams player, but would fit in nicely in the Bettcher defense. Undersized, but can hit and tackle...also had 10 picks last year.
CB ALIJAH HOLDER STANFORD 144: R5P5
Another steal, as a big good sized corner who is strictly a press cover 3 type .... lot's of weakness on lower drafted players, and he lacks ball awareness and tackling/physical play. His ability as a press cover will fit in with Bettcher and his wacky blitz packages.
WR KEELAN DOSS CALIFORNIA-DAVIS 174: R5P35
Nice sized receiver with good hands...can play the slot, and also be a red zone threat with his high point ability. Nice tape, and should be able to rotate in the offense.
DL MARQUISE COPELAND CINCINNATI 182: R6P7
Another steal at this point in the draft. Good rotational player that can disrupt plays.
RB BENNY SNELL JR. KENTUCKY 234: R7P18
Why not? BPA way down here.
TE MATT SOKOL MICHIGAN STATE 248: R7P32
A dual skilled tight end in the 7th? Great blocker, and good receiver. Deep tight end class this year...would he fall this far?
EDGE CARL GRANDERSON WYOMING
Well, not sure why Granderson is still here but again, seems to be a no brainer as the 7th round pick. lol at this spot for Carl Granderson.

Yeah, was all set for my pick of O linemen thinking Murray would be gone(Murray and Greir fell, huge run on OTs and safeties early) Falls to my pick...the huge BPA light flashing with siren blaring. What was strange about this board was how a bunch of WRs and RBs were stacked at the top of the big board the entire 4th round, did not want to think about any skill position player unless it was a TE,Isabella was ranked 60 players ahead of the next guy when my 1st 5th round pick came up,had to do it. I'm kinda hoping if we have this kind of draft that RT was addressed in FA because if this happens, looks like Wheeler is starting again, the only thing I wasnt happy about.
Wonder how much it costs to upgrade for trades

From CBS Sports mock draft today 6. New York Giants Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama. The protection on the offensive line was nothing but a rumor for much of 2018, and if the team is going to put itself in the best position to succeed, addressing those issues should be priority No. 1. Williams doesn't have the arm length many teams crave, but he makes up for it with his technique. The best part is he doesn't have to come in as a blindside blocker with the Giants, as he can adjust to the NFL at right tackle before an eventual move to the left side in 2020 if Nate Solder doesn't live up to his contract. I'm all in on Williams. He looks NFL ready for RT. Eventually will play LT.

Tending to the schemes we have and coaches in place. I'm still on board with the best 3 down linebacker for this 3-4, and future defensive leader, Devin White. This draft is absolutely stacked with DL, from edge to tackle...and every "type" you can want. If we are ever thinking of trading or moving past OBJ (trade bait 2020 for the QB?), this draft has WR up and down. Pick your flavor and you will have immense skill from slot to red zone. Tight ends for a 2 tight end HC? Loaded. Corners? Check. Bettcher type scheme players? Pass. Hell, we even have a decent OT class when all things are considered. Deep deep draft, and immense future pro bowl talent. Dig in and avoid any QB, for the sake of our future sanity and becoming a Browns franchise. Patience and get the OL sorted out this year, and take the most important position on any team, QB, next year. Running back over QB? Are we serious?? 6: R1P6 LB DEVIN WHITE LSU Still entertaining trade back a few spot offers from Denver and Jacksonville. 37: R2P5 C GARRETT BRADBURY NC STATE Perfect system fit for Shurmur. 108: R4P6 EDGE OSHANE XIMINES ODU Deep edge class, and Oshane should be taken way earlier, with a strong combine as expected. 132: R4P30 OT KALEB MCGARY WASHINGTON Playing the big board here of course...gonna need to nil him pre third round. 137: R4P35 WR PENNY HART GEORGIA STATE Un-coverable mini. Shurmur player. 143: R5P4 LB TERRELL HANKS NEW MEXICO STATE Havoc machine. 144: R5P5 EDGE SUTTON SMITH NORTHERN ILLINOIS Un- blockable mini. 6: R1P6 LB DEVIN WHITE: Most complete LB we have had since Armstead, dude can do it all and do it all VERY well. Quickly becoming my fav pick for us LSU
37: R2P5 G CHRIS LINDSTROM BOSTON COLLEGE EXCELLENT OG, arguably my fav OL this draft. Mean, Mauler, Able to Anchor, really no holes in his game
108: R4P6 C GARRETT BRADBURY NORTH CAROLINA ST Quickly becoming my fav Center since Tyler Biadasz isnt coming out til 2020. Not a mauler, more so a tougher Ritchburg. He wont beat guys through the ground but is a sound technician with great agility and footwork
132: R4P30 LB DEVIN BUSH MICHIGAN He is like Devin White light, no way is he gonna last this long. He can also cover, support the run, and blitz. Great speed, iq, and sound tackling. May be my 3rd fav LB after Allen and White
137: R4P35 OT JAWAAN TAYLOR FLORIDA Wont last this long, no way in hell. Solid player who is more so a sturdy anchor than a run blocking mauler, but can still male some nasty blocks in the ground game. Wont handle speed great but has the athletic ability to recover
143: R5P4 EDGE JALEN JELKS OREGON Super fast, rangy, lengthy edge rusher, decent football iq
144: R5P5 EDGE SHAREEF MILLER PENN STATE Dude is like a blur off the line, always in the backfield, uncanny agility, poor functional strength
174: R5P35 CB DERRICK BAITY KENTUCKY 6'2 186, sick press corner, decent enough in cover 2, brings the pain in run support, not the best ball s,ills
182: R6P7 S AMANI HOOKER IOWA Decent cover safety, but can also bring the wood. Not really a ball hawk but has decent ball skills to get the pick or the broken up pass, played some LB at Iowa
234: R7P18 CB JOEJUAN WILLIAMS VANDERBILT HUGE CB, excellent length strength and physicality, good enough quickness
248: R7P32 DL ALBERT HUGGINS CLEMSON Shot in the dark, probably would have started on ANY other DL, Possibly able to anchor the NT spot in a 3-4

My trade scenario mock if we avoid the QB's in the first.
: R1P6 EDGE JOSH ALLEN KENTUCKY
37: R2P5 QB DANIEL JONES - Best case scenario for someone to learn behind Eli, but he won't last this long. DUKE
108: R4P6 C GARRETT BRADBURY - Decent Center prospect who needs to get stronger. NORTH CAROLINA STATE
132: R4P30 LB TERRILL HANKS - He looks like a 3-4 rangy OLB. He drops into coverage. NEW MEXICO STATE
137: R4P35 OT ISAIAH PRINCE - I like him at this position. See my comments in the OLINEMAN sticky thread. OHIO STATE
143: R5P4 EDGE SHAREEF MILLER - Another 3-4 OLB type. Long and athletic and strong. Check his tape. PENN STATE
144: R5P5 S SAQUAN HAMPTON - Shot in the dark but we need a safety RUTGERS
174: R5P35 LB KENDALL JOSEPH - Decent late round prospect with Clemson pedigree. CLEMSON
182: R6P7 CB RASHAD ROBINSON JAMES MADISON
234: R7P18 CB DERRICK BAITY KENTUCKY
247: R7P31 G TYLER JORDAN FLORIDA
Last 3 rounds....I'm not that deep into prospects.

Eventually will play LT. another Pugh?
