From CBS Sports mock draft today 6. New York Giants Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama. The protection on the offensive line was nothing but a rumor for much of 2018, and if the team is going to put itself in the best position to succeed, addressing those issues should be priority No. 1. Williams doesn't have the arm length many teams crave, but he makes up for it with his technique. The best part is he doesn't have to come in as a blindside blocker with the Giants, as he can adjust to the NFL at right tackle before an eventual move to the left side in 2020 if Nate Solder doesn't live up to his contract. I'm all in on Williams. He looks NFL ready for RT. Eventually will play LT. another Pugh? I don't think so. Legit T for sure. And I've not read any scouting reports where he maybe moved to a guard spot.

Williams then stiffen his blocking as the game progressed. Clellen was the best he faced all year. Williams has upside for the next level. Not everyone could block LT #56 the first time they faced him either. LOL

I don't think so. Legit T for sure. And I've not read any scouting reports where he maybe moved to a guard spot. Really? I haven't seen anyone project him at guard. He's currently the #1 - 3 ranked OT. Greg Little was seen as the best OT when the season began and not he's a mid rounder. Things will change again once we see their athletic ability at the combine.

LOL Glad he adjusted, but sacks and pancakes at any point in the game are momentum changing. Maybe that was an outlier for him, but Ferrell threw him around like a doll for a bit. I'd pick Ferrell over Williams if available simply for that fact.

If we dont go Bosa, Allen, Oliver, Ferrell, Q or J Williams or trade down at 6, I'm going to be a bit sad.

^^^^ Some of the draft boards that they use in their simulations are a joke. You can preview the bigboard you use.

6. Dwayne Haskins Quarerback Ohio State. Impressive placement on far reaching throws in the intermediate areas of the field. Displays excellent accuracy with throws all over the field. Has a big time NFL arm, and can make all of the throws at the next level. Reads defenses well and has nice, subtle, pocket footwork in contrast to many college QB’s that bail out earl
DONE.....FACT.....PERIOD....END OF STORY....AND THE NEW YORK FOOTBALL GIANTS FINALLY MOVE INTO THE 21st CENTURY AT THE QUATERBACK POSITION WITH A 21 YEAR OLD WHO IS ALREADY BETTER THAN THE CURRENT NY GIANTS QUATERBACK.

Some of these are still soooooo unrealistic. Why? That last one was the Walter football board. Had Risner listed 291st overall for example. It all comes down to differing opinions or even incomplete rankings. It is still early in the process and some players move up and down significantly.

I honestly feel like the best way to do this is by using the user draft averages. Not some random sites ranking. The more users use this to draft the more accurate it would be IMO. Obviously nothin would be perfect though, but in no way is Risner going past the 2nd round.

I have no idea what I'm doing but thought it would be fun to limit myself to picking only within the top 10 players after round 1 and found it hard to focus on "need."
Here is what I ended up with (as noted by others already - probably not very realistic):
6: R1P6 OT JONAH WILLIAMS ALABAMA 37: R2P5 QB DANIEL JONES DUKE 108: R4P6 CB KEN WEBSTER OLE MISS 132: R4P30 S WILL HARRIS BOSTON COLLEGE 137: R4P35 DE MAXX CROSBY EASTERN MICHIGAN 143: R5P4 LB TERRILL HANKS NEW MEXICO STATE 144: R5P5 EDGE SUTTON SMITH NORTHERN ILLINOIS 174: R5P35 WR JAMAL CUSTIS SYRACUSE 182: R6P7 LB TRE WATSON MARYLAND 234: R7P18 G DERWIN GRAY MARYLAND 247: R7P31 DL DONTAVIUS RUSSELL AUBURN

I just gave this a shot. First time I did one round, second time I did all 7. Found it strange both times Josh Allen fell to me at #6. Can't imagine he'll fall past #3 in real life, but if we ended up drafting him I'd go streaking in the quad.
I don't know most of these players at all, simply went off of positional need:
6 - Josh Allen - LB - Kentucky 37 - Jonathan Abram - S - Miss. St. 108 - Ross Pierschbacher - C - Bama 132 - Yodny Cajuste OT - WVU 137 - Sutton Smith - Edge - N. Illinois 143 - Terrill Hanks - LB - New Mexico St. 144 - Greg Gaines - DL - Washington 174 - Malcolm Bridgeon - OG - OSU 182 - Jimmy Moreland - CB - James Madison 234 - Hakeem Butler - WR - Iowa St. 247 - Sheldrick Redwine - CB - Miami
