Matt Peart is a 3rd round pick has with 5 career starts. And it’s not like Peart's been horrible, most of us have agreed he's looked better than Solder, they just trust Solder more. It took Andrew Thomas a year for it to start to click and he was one of the top prospects at his position. The difference is that Thomas at least saw the field while working out the kinks. Apparently Peart isnt even good enough for that, WOOF!! That's true, but Thomas was the 4th overall pick. Watching from the bench was not an option. Especially with Solder opting out at the last minute.

Solder couldn’t squeeze the water out of a sponge. This is a huge indictment on our young tackle. We have no choice but to look for right tackle this offseason. We still don’t even know what we have with Wilson. This is telling how bad this organization really is that its been years that they can't put together a mediocre oline. They take a #6 pick QB from a basketball school in duke that has a shit football program then they take a RB who is suppose to be a "generational talent" knowing there oline can't block worth crap. Is there anything this organization can do right? Apparently not. That is why if the fire Gettlemen and keep the team that does all the leg work around nothing changes scouts and head of player personnel and pro personnel need to go the team around the GM are the talent hunters they aren't a good team, A ton of change needs to happen and we will need to be patient well they are putting it together. If this Happens pray to god that this happens.

I don’t even have to check his tape. He’s got an impossible name to pronounce. He’s definitely, Giants material. That's only edge/pass rushers I thought Prince had some nice moments at CB lol

Not sure that our coaches are the best judges of what makes a good player.
As far as I’m concerned we don’t know what we have and never will as long as bums like Solder are allowed to be on this team

Wirfs would not have helped the overall situation on the NYGs

Wirfs would not have helped the overall situation on the NYGs Wirfs was a RT only Actually prefers the right side (there are a few OTs that prefer the right side because they are so strong right handed that they feel clumsy on the left... Your best LTs are either strong lefties or ambidextrous)

Yup. I am liking this idea more and more. Are they both projected in round 1? They also need a pass rusher but they drafted Ojulari and Elerson Smith to rush the passer last season and yes they need to add more (also Hutchinson would be hard to pass up but he may be long gone when our 2 picks come up) but not sure they can pass up these two O-line guys if they are both on the board for both 1st round picks if that's where they are projected. They are both projected to go in the 1st. Ekwonu and Linderbaum are projected to go in the mid 1st. Apparently alot of "insiders" are projecting Linderbaum to be the highest Center drafted in the past 20yrs (so 18th or higher). There are ALOT of pass rushers this draft, that's why I'd prefer going elsewhere if we can't get Thibodaux or Hutchinson Yup I tend to agree with this.

Let's see how the board shakes out...we know a few names of good ones already that can move up... Now maybe there is a chance Neal falls to us? Neal and Linderbaum Wow

Good thing this guy will be on the board when we draft... Is there also a good right tackle sitting out there? I'd be happy going OG OT and C in the draft.

Said at this stage Solder is just a better player more physical, said Peart needs to get his hands around someones neck and squeeze lol. This is a sad turn of events when a guy 3 years past his prime is just mentally more prepared to try wreck someone then a young big strong athlete. Well, that just sucks. It's really saying something considering just how bad Solder is.

Do you remember hearing or reading that ? But I think your right they trust Solder more. We are going to need to draft a RT with one of our 1st rd picks or at least our 2nd rd pick.

They are, but with the investment in Lawrence who's getting knocked all over the place, it seems like a no-brainer. Even if we lose out, I just don't see us using a pick that high on a RT.

He reaches for one of his former OSU WRs with a top 5 pick (when at least one of them will be there for them in the 2nd ) RT is just as important as LT these days.... You get 2 elite book end tackles then come back with Linderbaum at C....
