Never see him finish blocks tho I have a free from what I have seen he isn't a physical blocker, he is young and still learning at a higher level of competition, It took Beatty 3 or 4 years out of UConn to get it, he was good when healthy but was never healthy. Sales Career is tied to the development of these young players the last thing he wants is to have Solder 4 years past his prime winning and staying in that spot. Peart has the tools and this is what I want from my OL coach fire that shot across the bow challenge this kid to step it up and get nasty. But Soldier has 0 redeeming qualities. He a worse OT than Flowers. I dont get why he's in there I agree I don't know what Peart does during the week but it certainly isn't what they want or he would over take Nate the turnstile Solder, supposedly Solder couldn't practice on Friday Hopefully Peart gets another shot and doesn't look back.

When was the last time we saw Matt Peart take a defender for a ride downfield watch Thomas when he gets into his guy he will drive as far as he can till buries him this is the mentality Peart is missing maybe this challenge will get it out of him. But it took him a whole year to learn how to do that. And he was a top prospect. I'm not saying Peart will turn out the same, but Thomas didn't learn by sitting on the bench. Enjoying beating the F#$% out of the guy across from you as an OL needs to be enjoyable. Thomas had a softy issue early in high school but in the south that gets fixed or you don't play, There is always another big kid waiting. Pearts moment of truth has come long past when Thomas's did. It's his time to flip the switch what was good enough in his High school and at UConnn isn't anymore.
