If they can split with the Eagles and Cowboys 12-5 is realistic.

Yup, especially injuries, in which we seem to lead the league. Especially in preseason. Not sure how making a prediction makes sense at this point.

Without giving a number, I'll just say that considering where this team is in year two of this regime, anything less than a winning season would be a huge disappointment and a step backward for the Schoen/Daboll era, period.

Another winning season!
Anything less, will be a disappointment
To me, there are always questions, right? what comes to mind for me Did Neal improve? SB gets signed? Schmitz seamlessly transitions? DBs are the same or better than last year? Hyatt becomes a star? Thibbs and Azeez can stay on the field healthy togeher for the season?
If these are all positive outcomes, no doubt a winning season

I also think a winning season would be a real good step forward. 2 years in a row of winning football wow I don't even remember that. I think our goal should be to make the playoffs.
I do think we come in 3rd place in our division. But we did that last year and made the playoffs though were not playing the AFC South this season.
Now really the way I see it anywhere between 9-8 and 7-10. But if we can steal a game vs one of the playoff teams we face 10-7. And that's possibly playoffs.
Can we please win 1 game vs Philly or Dallas.

. Better is better. I get all the (valid) "tough schedule argument" blah blah blah. If the team is better they will have a better record than last season. The schedule is tough but they are supposed to take steps forward.
10-7

I won't mention the schedule lol...but I agree with GT
10-7
I do think they will be better on both sides of the ball, the key will be can they win the close games like they did last year. There isn't much difference between 10-7 and 7-10...that is usually the difference

Losing season but not a disappointment compared to last years team. It does loom around in the back of one's mind, a couple of close games without a critcal play going the Giants way or an untimely bad call by the Refs and it could swing in that direction. Overall, I agree the team will still continue to improve. I am still throwing in a dash of luck and some good breaks for the Giants and see what happens this season!

8-9
a better team with a lot of close games but this time on the losing side of most of them to better teams. Still not sold on the OL and the D in back of the D-line, a lot of questions there. I could see them coming on late due to improved OL play but too little, too late to make a real run at the playoffs

13-4 I see us beating Washington and Dallas twice and splitting with Philly. We lose to San Fran, Buffalo and Seattle.
Yea I'm a homer. And?
It's the breakout year for DJ. Skies the limit.
