How much you throwing down on them game 1 against the Turds. Excuse me? Against?! I’ll probably do my usual twice a year “emotional” bet when we play them. Depending on how I’m doing that week, anywhere between $250-500 ON the turds to win because a) I really do think they’ll win and cover and b) I would happily lose $250-500 if the Giants win. When I get really pissed, but rarely happens, is if the turds win but don’t cover, then I’ll lose my shit. Can’t bet with emotions (which I rarely do) which that bet actually isn’t because I do think they girls will win. I’ve bet against the Giants much more often over the past 5-6 years but I have NEVER bet enough where I would hope they lose. Last year hurt a bit at first but I made up for it in the end when they only won 4 of their last 11. Overall, betting against them has been quite profitable for me unfortunately. The smart money will be on Dallas. Their considered a better team, 3rd strongest team in the NFC. I was told this as a young man. If you want to root for your team then root with them with all your heart. Do not put money on a team because of your heart and you want to root for them . Leave your heart at home once you put money on a team now it's business. You already realize this by betting against the team you love. Making money very seldom has anything to do with what you want to happen.

So, right now we're all thinking, "Can this be real. Is it possible for it to be real and we'll be contenders this year? It's Preseason. 1973 when there were 6 preseason games and 14 regular... we are 6-0 in preseason and Giant fans and the press all have us winning. We were 2 - 11 - 1. Still, the possibilities are smile worthy. Ah... those were days, right Zim? They sure were, Key.... and 1986 was the remedy to it all. 1990 was satisfaction. 1986 was redemption. 2007 was a lot more like 1986. 2011 was more like 1990.

Darren Waller even makes Daniel Jones look good. Are you implying that DJ's passes were not crisp, and Waller had to work to catch to ball. I did not see it that way. Even the one Waller dropped was on the money. Crisp is a good word. If you want to see what a nice pass DJ was throwing last night, go back and look at Simm's passes in the 1986 SB.

That’s awesome. I didn’t see the game. Just catching highlights. On Gray’s TD run Schmitz was five yards down field on a linebacker. Love to see this.

I get that. Game time and jb456 already said the same. I will say I was happy with what the Starters on Offense accomplished/ If Waller can stay healthy? Oh my,........ he looks uncoverable. Throw Barkley in there as well, the Giants might be dropping 40 on a few teams this year.

I don’t know why you would logically but I’d wish you the best of luck and hope you’d win.

They were 21st overall last year, that’s a walk in the park, maybe a fast walk but a walk nonetheless. Eagles and Washington were both top 3 and Washington was loaded with injuries. i think there front 7 was decent though at least against the run and short to intermediate stuff IIRC Perhaps, I haven’t kept up with them so I don’t know who they’ve gained or lost, was just going by overall defensive stats. *Just checked, they were literally middle of the pack against the run and were probably in the worst division in the league.

I was superstitious for a loooong time and would never bet for or against the Giants until I realized my bet wouldn’t effect the outcome of the game, haha. If a game seems like a good bet, then I’m betting on it and being I’m most familiar with the Giants and cowboys, those are the two teams I bet on the most. Like I said earlier, the only thing I do differently even if I really like a bet against the Giants is bet enough money that would cause me to cheer against them, which I’ve never done. Likewise, I never bet enough money on the cowboys that would cause me to cheer for them.

The Giants first offensive set would have scored against any NFL team. Only way to stop the drive is if the opponent knows what each play will be. Giants are going to have pass heavy offense this season. Darren Waller even makes Daniel Jones look good. You should start giving Jones some credit.

My observation (outside the obvious on DJ, Waller etc) is that we have too many capable receivers and not enough OL.
It will be interesting to see if Schoen can find a dance partner to square that up.

The only thing that will slow this Giants offense down is if the OL can't give adequate time that has held this offense back more than anything the last 4 or 5 year.
If they grow into a really good Pass protecting unit and decent run blocking they re gonna score and score a lot.

But the patriotism was fabulous at '90, during Desert Storm, and Whitney singing the Star Spangled Banner will never be beat. We were standing at rail at field level on the right side of the goal line Norwood missed on. Couldn't tell if the ball was in or out as it passed the post until I turned and saw the Giany players jumping up and down on the firled.

I know it's preseason, and the panthers are 1 of the worst teams in the league, but our starters looked goooood.
Happy with Hyatt and JMS, both looked like instant starters
I feel like Banks is gonna be good in due time.
Neal had a good game outside the twist, where he had a mental fart and missed the pick-up.
I'm happy with Bredeson as a starter.
Glowinski is clearly the weakest link on the OL.
Good game by Lemieux.
Ezeudu had an up and down game, some plays he looked like he would be gunning for a promotion, others he got embarrassed.
I'm over Holmes and Ximines.
Jordan Riley is gonna see some real game experience this season.
Okekere is a huuuuge addition, he's gonna be the difference maker on defense this season, count it.
Im hoping Beavers, McFadden, and Coughlin keep it up, we might have serviceable LB Corp.
