QBs
Eli looked sharp. Passes were crisp and on target had trouble with a bad snap.
Webb I don’t know if he is the future. Holds the ball too long. His passes are indecisive at times. Has too much arc on the ball It has a tendency to hang in the air , and seems to be up for grabs.
Lauletta looked good. He is sharp, finds his target quickly. The only dig had one bad pass that was picked. This kid looks good. He has pocket poise. Unlike Webb, he sits in the pocket and only moves when it is necessary to.
O-line Guards and center can push the Defense back. ( loved it.) Flowers is looking a lot better (see video) WTF happened to him, he was getting leverage . Had his hands where they should be. Pushing on the outside of OV’s shoulder pads. Throwing the defender off balance. His foot work looked much improved He even took on 2 defenders at once and won. He has some ways to go. It is encouraging to see visible progress in his game.
Wheeler is horrid at LT. Jerry at RT is worse then Hart . Our O-line has no OT depth
Most of my attention was on the O line . Sorry I was not paying too much attention to anything else.
I did see this. No injuries OBJ looks quick and fast. Barkley has two speeds fast and OMG. Rhett ad Engram looked sharp. OBJ and Shepard were returning Punts.

Reading some articles off the the giants site sounds like Shepherd is having a really strong camp also

Curse you! I had given up on Flowers and "wham" you produce that gem. Encouraged by what I see... I will not be fooled again until I see consistency. Saquon with "OMG" speed is a classic. Great observations posted too!

Question Did you notice if Bettcher was still going nuts with pressures or did he pull back

I got the same vibe from Webb when I watched his practice highlights. Some of his picks are mainly from just holding onto the ball too long and letting the DB undercut his passes. If his picks were mainly from poor throws then he can work on that a lot easier than his indecisiveness. And for a guy who loves his arm so much he does tend to put too much air under his throws. He's got a little bit of time to work on his craft but I do believe the backup QB is up for grabs. Whoever does the best in the pre-season should win that role.

Most of us understand he was supposed to be a work in progress, who didn't cost much in any way to attain, and has evidently been doing all the right things.

It's easily corrected. Look at Kurt Warner, he did it here and then corrected it with the Cardinals.

Of course last season we also heard how incredible Eli "looked" in camp.
I have no idea what Webb will be and you could be completely right. If I was at camp and I complained about the way Eli looked....would you believe me?

Are you implying the integrity of my OP was bias? I would never question your integrity my friend. I would question your objectivity. Just as I'm sure you would question mine.
My view is that Eli needs to be a game manager from here on. If he does that he should function well in our offense. right now he's just a guy. Make the reads, throw the ball where he needs to throw it. Hope he gets time because he falls apart amid a pass rush anymore. I don't anticipate that changing. What we see in camp means very little because he knows he's not getting hit.

My observation was more based on decision making and ball placement. To me Webb seemed to be behind Lauletta in that aspect. Like you said everything changes when a Defender wants to plant you. Can Eli get the I don't care if I get hit swagger back ? That is still a big Question mark. From what I saw yesterday , His arm strength is not a problem. If it was I would have stated it.

His arm strength has never been a problem. His ability to deliver the ball well has never been a problem either, at least not for me. His problem has always been his tendency to panic in the pocket and make poor decisions. That isn't going to change at his age. And it certainly isn't going to manifest itself in training camp as long as he's wearing the red jersey.
It's when that red jersey comes off that the problems arise.
