Ruggs is going to burn it up. I bet he is the fastest when all said and done. The problem with him is, he isnt a good route runner. His routes are fine..a bit raw but that can be taught his routes are super basic. He’s just a run down the field really fast guy.

I like Reagor a lot. I think he sneaks into the back end of the 1st when all said and done. Maybe 6 WRs in the 1st. I think the WR from Colorado falls. I think Reagor sneaks into the first as well. Hoping he falls though. Some very good talent should be there if we want to go that route. I prefer mins. Need that big target that can go up after it, especially in the red zone. He reminds me of a faster plaxico. Also chase claypool and quintez cephus, who is very underrated(he was exonerated of any wrong doing before anyone brings it up. No need for a 2nd round receiver when better value in the latter rounds. They have Slayton as the speedster, and what round was he drafted?

The "modern" offenses are all going for speed speed speed. I really like Claypool. There was a guy from Texas I think too, can't think of his name. But he was catching everything. I wouldn't mind another speedster to pair with Slayton though.

Modern NFL= speed all over the field The 2 fastest offenses in the NFL were in the Super Bowl, both teams had tons of speed outside (Yes Samders and Samuel's have enough speed to frighten defenses)
Enough of this ancient "we need a big....." Just stop with this ancient way of doing things..a.possesion complimentary reciever is a prehistoric way of doing things. Where was your big bodied starting recievers in the super bowl Your TEs these days are these players ....
Claypool? Plodding slow poke that won't get separation in the NFL.
You have a slow big bodied guy opposite your good reciever, easily defended by a big physical but slow Corner one on 1,roll coverage over Slayton, shallow zone, run blitz,Barkley nuked behind the line...
2 speed guys that are dynamic outside threats = 2 deep zone, middle of field open for your TEs and more importantly you can go run heavy if the line is good.. Modern NFL.

And being a more vertical type offense as speculated we need speed.

Love the watch he catches the ball, speed and just looks and feels like a "football player". Lowers his shoulder, runs through tackles. He should be in that 4.3x category for sure. Only 5'10" but we can make that work with his speed and hands. One of my favorite WRs in the class.
Why don't you like Claypool?

What is he? Besides slow and ponderous Too big for a WR Too small for a TE We have this player already with Evan Engram, and he can block like a TE downfield and has more athletic ability Big is the most overrated atribute for playmakers not playing TE these days....

So is there anything that you actually don't like about his game though? He has lined up all over the field, very versatile. He can block pretty well. Good, big hands. He isn't the fastest guy but he certainly isn't slow and ponderous lol. He has been clocked at 4.37 in the past, now that was before he got as big as he is. He will still be a 4.4x guy though.
It's ok not to like him, just trying to see why.

Very lumbering that would have a hard time getting seperation at the next level Route running is meh at best. He is Funchess 2.0 in that he is a tweener, and like I said we have a tweener already who is actually a TE There are about 40 recievers i would take over him. I don't get this mythical love affair many Giants fans have over lusting for big slow playmakers when they are a bad fit for the modern game.. Not the kind of reciever Garrett wants because he needs quicker deep threats that are also great post catch short Unfortunately I'm trying to brace myself for this being our pick in this draft for a reciever because Gettleman still has the prehistoric "big guys beat little guys" mentality and "**** speed"..(shocked we actually took Slayton)

Seemed to me whenever I saw him play he was running in quicksand. Definitely faster than Funchess.. Have to see his short shuttle and how he runs patterns for me to put him on my "OK cool" if we take him... Bigger guys like this tend to be a bit sloppy with routes and that can compromise seperation Anything under 4.5 is what I'm looking for. Still would prefer a dynamic deep threat to force teams into the 2 deep zone we all want the Giants to see if we are going to feature Barkley and more running. Dunno if a guy like Claypool can be that other guy Can't wait actually to see how my 2nd wave guys fare Van Jefferson KJ Hill Mimms Dunevmey Cephus Proche Gibson(is he a RB or WR?)

Just ran a 4.45 at 6-4 and 238 Had to put my kids to bed, you stole my post lol. He is not a slow dude, he's just big. Any teams out there with a starting WR bigger than their TE? We could be a first haha. ND did use him at times as a pseudo TE. He is one of those guys that can be used in many ways if your coaching staff can think of it.

Chase Claypool just ran a 4.42 (3rd fastest so far). Duvernay had the fastest time so far. Lots of the top speedsters still to go.

Supposedly he had a sick vertical reach as well.. So far impressive Needs to do more than run fast and jump

Meanwhile Muti(the psycho guard ) 44 reps on the bench I take the chances with his injuries in round 3 for sure. Top of round 2 might be too early for a guy that much of an injury risk. 44 baby that's me.

I'm a ND fan but not a homer. I point out overrated Irish players every year. I don't think he is one of them.

Kmet has barely scratched the surface of his football talent.

Cephus from Wisco ran real slow - 4.73. Surprising That apparently was a knock on him.... Ceiling is an old school possession reciever... Shame because he runs food routes and has hands...he will have a lot of issues with that speed Maybe he has a better day at his pro day
