Nothing wrong with that view point. I just get really cranky about the demand on coaches time especially a rookie HC.i think there is a real possibility that the distraction of having him around could be worse than not having him at all. Just my view on distractions. I hated Hosely and Hill for that. Remember when I told you what my mama used to say? Judge should "Jerk a knot in his tail". I think facing multiple decades in prison for being in the wrong place at the wrong time (allegedly) could have a similar affect. The guy was a very talented college CB, we have a new "no nonsense" HC that will either make him grow up or will set him free. I'd rather see what Joe can do with him........if he's innocent, of course. Probably no harm in letting it play out if he is able to dodge the current mess. Maybe staring the jailer in the face will wake him up. You are right, the HC can make that call in camp, pull a quick trigger (no pun) if he doesn't do a 180. LOL, my expectations are still quite low. You don't fix stupid or lazy imho.

... with completely disrespectful, selfish and profoundly stupid behavior in the midst of a pandemic with stay-at-home orders, social distancing and mask usage required almost everywhere? It happened in Florida. The rules have been very liberally enforced here. Don't let the "empty" beaches fool you. I live in South Florida also and know that compliance is willing and extensive among our various populations. But obviously not all, as evidenced by Mr Baker. Unlike beaches, card games are close contact, private, and virtually impossible to monitor and therefore it's unrealistic to expect real enforcement. Nor would I want that level of government intrusion. But that does not make it acceptable or trivial to those of us who have respect for our fellow citizens.

I was mad about Baker but now that I think about it. I bet there is more this story and I was quick to judge that Baker started that mess. We dont know what happened. The old Saying Where there is Smoke there is Fire. They have 4 sworn statements that he held a gun, ordered someone to be executed and robberies jewelry and cash. Not one SWORN statement. Four

Look OJ was accused or MURDER and he obviously didn’t do it. I mean the glove didn’t even fit 🤦♂️
I can’t wait to hear the facts even though I am sure at this point the witnesses were bribed
Why didn’t Baker just get on the phone that night when the detective called him. Instead he hung up.
Where there is smoke their is fire.

Do you think anyone that is somewhere that gun fire can break out, is capable of having any respect for his fellow citizens?. And no one is really enforcing anything anywhere outside the beaches. Even the Gov is pushing back on the restrictions. In my area (New Port Richey) no one cares. Walmarts and Home improvement stores never never shut down and are always packed with people Most of who are older and more vulnerable to getting sick........and a lot don't wear masks.

What we are all not discussing is if the 4 victims and 1 witness do change their stories (likely being because they were bought off) after making sworn video taped reports then can and probably will be charged with perjury and filing a false police report.
