Don’t rush to [judgment].” Baker, 22, is charged with four counts of armed robbery with a firearm and four counts of aggravated assault. Cohen said there is “video evidence” that helps exonerate Baker.

I can't remember the player's name, but I went off on him when he was accused of assaulting a woman and it turned out to be complete BS. Lesson learned for me. I will not convict the kid before he's actually convicted.

Hey now.....this is positive news! Please let him be found not guilty. Holy shnikees, he better be found not guilty...... "If Baker is found guilty of holding a semi-automatic weapon, he could face a mandatory minimum of 15 years for each of the four armed robbery charges, under Florida law."

The only way this comes out better than sh*t is if the entire thing was a big lie and even then, the accusation will follow him forever. I certainly would hope nobody in the NFL is this dumb but then there was Aaron Hernandez, so you just never know.

I hope he's innocent. But if he is, this was a pretty elaborate frame-up.
According to the cops, there were 4 victims and a separate witness who has known them from childhood. All were questioned separately on video.

What situation? Going to a party and playing poker? I doubt this is a frame-up, but if it was I see nothing wrong.

Water is wet? So, did Baker go to the party to make sure everyone was drinking responsibly? And this was all a big misunderstanding. What a guy.

Why would he make a claim like this if that was not the case? I would think he would have to think of the credibility of his own practice. Who would retain him as a defender if his going to use none existing evidence as a talking point? Would you?

All were questioned separately on video. I hope he is innocent too and really want him off the team. We now know some real pertinent facts, not about the case but about his make up. Apparently, he has never taken the game seriously in an NFL sort of way. We hear that he had to be pushed every day at practice in college. We hear that he never played to the play book and preferred to free lance in college. We know from scouts that he was lazy and dogged it at the Senior Bowl and Combine. We know that he slept through meetings as a rookie starter. We know he was lost most of the time in coverage (connects with his indifference to the play book in college) We know he has been missing in action on Zoom meetings. We know he's hanging around high stakes gambling games while skipping (optional) virtual meetings, coming off a terrible rookie season. We know that if he returns to the team he will gobble up an inordinate amount of coach time and attention because he's an indifferent dumbass. And we want him on our team because?

We are paying him either way whether he is on the roster not contributing or off the roster not contributing. Actually having him on the roster is a negative contribution because of the attention his dumb ass will require from the coaching staff when they could be working with coachable, disciplined, professional players

If innocent, because he's a promising young player who could be a key component in a very young Secondary, and a potential player to build your Secondary around for years to come. Not to mention we've already paid him. If he's guilty, peace out. Enjoy the next 60 years in jail. If he's innocent, we keep him. Judge won't allow anyone to sleep through meetings. Simply based on the interviews I've seen, I expect Judge to bring a complete change of culture to the Giants.

Not walking away from the situation when it started to become sketchy. While guns were maybe being pointed? Come on, no one knows enough at this time to make that statement. I seems you have a affinity for applying words to statements . I never used the phrase "point guns' I said sketchy . Again you cannot decipher simple meanings. Sketchy was was intended to mean walk away before guns came out.

Ask more questions. They both have lawyers and witness accounts with now what sounds like video evidence. And Deandre just turned himself in. Where are the wednesday night police reports of cops showing up at house with guns drawn then interviewing guests and investigating. Where is the 911 call, what about a chopper and chase of gunman on the loose tracking down thieves. Not hard to find a Lambo racing away. What about the local media picking up the story of 2 nfl players who just robbed a party and were standing by at the victims house.

Look, I do not know if this kid did what is being reported BUT beyond that their was more hard facts about him that makes me wonder why we even gave him the chance to play in Blue? Then, he shows his professional attitude by not showing up, falling asleep and other actions that tell me he does not belong in BLUE!!! He was given a chance that he probably should not have been given because of need. Poor decision. Rid yourself of the issue!

All were questioned separately on video. How hard is it really to get four idiots to concoct a story and then describe it to the police largely the same way. Doesn’t seem elaborate at all. Seems like another day on the internet to me. im not saying he’s innocent, my stance is that same as it’s always been. Call me after the completion of diligent due process.
