Now that the dust has settled, let’s go on record.
10-6.
I think it’s a possibility if things go our way and lord knows things have not gone our way in a long time.

Barring the team getting killed by injuries to key starters, especially on the O side of the ball, 10-6 maybe even 11-5 if the D finishes top 15. cuz I feel this O will be top 10 this yr.

I think an 8-8 would be a start for this team! Next year, half of this years team will be gone!

As I said in the other predictions thread the first half of the season leading up to our bye in week 9 is going to make or break our season. We face five play off teams from last season (Jags, Saints, Panthers, Eagles, Falcons), have to face the Cowboys and Redkins, and then face a talented Texans team that was probably a play off team had Watson not gone down injured last season. Those first eight games are going to be tough. If we can come out of that at 4-4, then the second half of the season we should be able to press on because the schedule looks easier on paper.
Currently I think 10-6 is our best case scenario with 6-10 being our worst case scenario.

Once the offense starts to roll I think the Giants will be a tough out. 10-6 is my prediction.

I called 11-5 in 2016 and was right. I called 12-4 in 2017 and was dead wrong. I'm not calling anything this year. Serenity now.

well I usually go with 10-6 just about every season. I actually think more like 8-8. But 10-6 is only two more measly wins....lol

6-10
A healthy Beckham and Barkley get them three more wins than last year.

The schedule is only "tough" on paper. We really have no idea how good or bad any of our 1st 7 opponents are gonna be this yr. Any of them could suffer season ending injuries to any of their star players & their goes their season. Same for us should we lose 1 or 2 of our key starters to injury for the yr. Or they just might not be as good as they were last yr. Many a SB champ slumps the following yr due to complacency, injuries, other teams getting super motivated to beat the champ, bad breaks, etc. Let's just enjoy the 2018 season & hope it ends well for us.

5-11
Reasons:
1) weak rightside of Oline
2) weak secondary
3) lack of a natural pass rush meaning blitzing to create pressure will be needed
4) lack of depth - our starting 22 could probably contend for a playoff spot, but our 2nd units are putrid at most spots, we will see tremendous falloff with each injury
5) tough first 7 - starting slow will temper everything
6) I think Eli is done - check, chuck and duck, 1 read professions have become his norm it’s not impossible some improved blocking rekindles his desire to stand in the pocket under duress and go through progressions, but I’m not predicting that
I think this is Eli and Vernon’s last season as Giants.

I cannot predict a record. What I can say is that my chips are all in for Shurmur and James Bettcher. I think Shurmer is a teacher of the game. He is now inheriting the best student and probably the best overall weapons he has ever had. I think the Giants are going to make some noise this season. I think as the season progresses they will become a tough out. As for Eli, I suspect he will have the best statistical season he has ever had. Big things are coming.

I think as the season progresses they will become a tough out. As for Eli, I suspect he will have the best statistical season he has ever had. Big things are coming. He had good weapons last year and being a HC is far different than being an OC. Even if he veers offense he can’t spend the time on Offense he was as an OC. And weapons are flashy but pass protection and accuracy are vital in his system. I’m not comparing Keenum to Rli for his career, but Keenum is accurate which fits Shurmur’s scheme and at this point in his career he’s probably a better player than Eli. I don’t think the Giants will match what Vikings results offensively from last year and I agree they have better weapons, but they have a weaker Oline and QB.

We need drastic improvement or another year of implosion to our us back at the top of the draft. If playing Eli leads to a 6-10/7-9 type season we’ve wasted the most valuable thing in the world...Time.

I'll let Rosie steal a little thunder. He knows who the real Thor is.
I'm sticking with my prediction of 6-10.
We run a brutal gauntlet to start the season. I don't think our OL is a "revamped" as many believe. Our defense is still weak beyond the point of attack. And I hate to say it but Eli isn't going to experience some sort of resurrection.
