Listening to him speak about team and brotherhood and the loss of a teammate makes me say if they can afford it keep him around.

How thin we’re at corner the Giants may have no choice but to resign him.

I had just watched his media day interview prior to browsing here and came away with the same exact impression. He sounds like a coach with the media. Guys like him, Martinez, and Bradberry are definitely nice additions in the locker room and on the field thus far..

On the O I think the OL is gonna come along and we just need to get some speed on the outside.

Hopefully its a sign of good things to come.

you can see a common thread in many of the players. How they act, what they say and what their goals are. Not just canned responses either. Same page/same team one goal.

Vets that are thrown together because of injury or free agency need time we have Gates at a new position, rookie tackle, Hernandez young and has had a different center next to him every other week. They were running it with Saquon early in that game he got hurt on a 5 yd run had 28 yards on 4 carries think your right all we can look for is a step each week.

so maybe.....just maybe its possible to have players with high character, right mindset and talent.
I know this has been debated and many fans dont care about the character of the players on the team as long as they produce. I am not one of those fans. If I was a coach/GM I would strive to get as many talented players who are also quality people. Of course you wont have 53 but you can certainly have a good % of your roster.
As a fan I don't want to have to root for assholes, jerks offs, scum bags etc. Just my view.

It didn't take long for me to sour on OBJ after purchasing a jersey and getting a plaque with that catch on it.. Tate is the current one on the team that I would like to see gone because I hate cheaters.. I wasn't on board with this Logan Ryan signing and I still don't think he's a difference maker even playing safety but that jury is still out..

I wasn't specifically saying Ryan is some great under the radar player. Maybe with his attitude he can make another player better. He seems "coach like" in a way.

Looked to me like he played a bunch in the slot against the Bears. Dont know much about him, so I googled and it came up as safety. Also that he's from NJ and played for Rutgers.

Ryan, of course, is one of the top players still on the market. He's also among the most versatile. His 113 tackles, 18 passes defensed, 4.5 sacks, four interceptions and four forced fumbles for the Titans last year earned him the No. 60 spot in the NFL Top 100. The eighth-year veteran is often listed as a cornerback but has stressed to teams that he should be viewed as a hybrid DB moving forward. To highlight this point, his former agent emailed all 32 clubs with a chart of the top safeties' stats. Ryan, who lined up as a slot corner on about 65 percent of his snaps and at various safety spots more than 15 percent of the time, stacked up well. www.nfl.com/news/free-agent-db-logan-ryan-likely-to-sign-new-deal-soon-after-switching-agents

Especially with new players, late editions, New coaching, no pre season. I am surprisingly pleased and hopeful. I like every D player you named plus Carter. And if McKinney plays up to potential when he returns and we can get that big pass rusher DE or LBer next year. Draft or FA. Dare I dream how good they could be.

How thin we’re at corner the Giants may have no choice but to resign him. Isn't he a safety? Yeah. Which got me thinking, Ballentine clearly isn’t the answer. So, why not put Ryan on the opposite side of Bradberry? It’s not like Ryan has a set position. He’s used in the nickel packages and plays special teams. Why would you limit his snaps when we have a glaring need at corner? It’s killing two birds with one stone.

He did prove that he wasn't very good as a CB last year which was why he stayed on the market for so long and wanted to switch to safety..

Thats what I'm saying he is a good smart player but seems to try to bring the team along with him positive speaking about them working everyday to get better together some wins early to practice late to go home. He is not a super star just a good vet presence.

He should be Judge did say they are gonna run these guys though probably like they would have with preseason and see who wins, not ideal but nothing this season is.

He also was burned badly outside last year, his success was inside I don't think they are looking for him to play there, but if he has to he might. That CB 2 spot is gonna be targeted now that they see what the NFC South saw with Bradberry he is more then capable of limiting top WRs.

He did prove that he wasn't very good as a CB last year which was why he stayed on the market for so long and wanted to switch to safety.. Our options are slim. I like Ryan on the fact that he has played the position. And when you see our depth at corner it’s not exactly cornerback U. Also, he’s making $7.5 million this season. Are we really paying him this on the sole reason to be a player without a position? Yeah. Which got me thinking, Ballentine clearly isn’t the answer. So, why not put Ryan on the opposite side of Bradberry? It’s not like Ryan has a set position. He’s used in the nickel packages and plays special teams. As for Yiadom, I don’t trust him to give me directions to the nearest gas station. We need viable options at corner. Because, at some point opposing teams will learn to stay away from Bradberry and focus on whoever is playing opposite of him.
