76: R3 P12 WR Damonte Coxie - Memphis

For sure...gotta get them drafted before they change their big boards. Last year at this time Becton was gotten in the 7th round...probably climbing to the 3rd on many boards...until post combines and a possible top 5 pick to the Giants. Fun watching them rise and fall...too bad no combines, and so many teams not playing full schedules and full rosters. Probably going to be the wildest didn't see that coming draft we ever had.

Conversely White hot take prediction Rousseau falls to the 3rd because teams get very cold feet about him, while a guy like Jones can creep to the mid 1st round because pass rushers are unicorns and he has recent production Coxie is all over the place He should with his production and athletic skillsets (big body with rare quick burst and great post catch skills )be a day 2 guy yet I'm still seeing him with 4th to 6th round grades ... Honestly This is the draft where you just have to throw out what the industrial draft complex geeks tell us and just trust (gasp) the teams big boards as they are going to be random

Rueben Randle clone! I can only go by sophomore video and what that crappy college year gave us (senior week and pro days)...these scouts better be very good at projection vs actual latest greatest... and lean towards to their BPA vs team needs when in doubt in any round. I wonder if, as the draft falls, we will see less trades or more? I'd venture less...but if you have a first round grade on a player who suddenly emerges in the 3rd round...which I believe will happen quite often this year, you might see more scrambling.

Coxie will most likely be, like you said between the 4th and 6th, but probably 4th, maybe even late 3rd With no combine I dont see alot of guys making HUGE jumps as they would in previous years. IMO the Senior Bowl was the last big even that will really effect draft position, then again im not a scout

To be fair it turned out Randle had a well hidden arthritic knee that started to really mess him up his 3rd season People forget his rookie season he looked like the "next one " of Reese's WR finds. Very explosive on the field, crisp route running, post catch ability Year 4 he was a shell of himself and I think never got a 2nd contract... Other than the occasional drop Marshall looked really good,I'm shocked he isn't graded higher yet especially when many seem to think he will run in the 4.45 - 4.50 range, excellent for a receiver his size. My sleeper pick for us at 11 is Zevon Collins.... Basically the same kind of player many thought Floyd would be but with more eye opening production on film....

Mocks 1 and 2 using fanspeak-steve's rankings
R1 P11 WR Jaylen Waddle - Alabama
R2 P10 CB Paulson Adebo - Stanford
R3 P12 LB Chazz Surratt - North Carolina
R4 P11 LB Hamilcar Rashed Jr. - Oregon State
R6 P12 CB Keith Taylor - Washington
R6 P17 C Quinn Meinerz - Wisconsin-Whitewater
R1 P11 LB Micah Parsons - Penn State
R2 P10 WR Tylan Wallace - Oklahoma State
R3 P12 CB Ifeatu Melifonwu - Syracuse
R4 P11 LB Hamilcar Rashed Jr. - Oregon State
R6 P12 DL Daelin Hayes - Notre Dame
R6 P17 C Quinn Meinerz - Wisconsin-Whitewater
Funny how they list Rashed as a LB, no chance he plays LB in the NFL unless we are talking 3-4 OLB. Dude is a straight up pass rusher who makes his bread in the backfield.
Its crazy how now in all 4 of my mocks that I did today how Pitts isnt making it out of the top 5.
Melifonwu is REALLY starting to grow on me as 1 of my favorite CBs outside of the 1st round, the more I watch of him, the more Im a fan.
And how do you NOT love Meinerz in the 6th

I am believing the 4 QB's are positioned for top ten (hope we get 5 up there), and CB value getting a few in that top ten...WR and Chase...with the linebacker value dropping Parsons to a possible out of top ten range. From there, we could have the WR, either Smith or Waddle vs Parsons debate hot and heavy. That's a tough call...me personally, I would lean Waddle... and for sure take Smith if he was there vs Parsons. I'm gonna take others word for CB's top 2 rounds...lol...being I now believe Wade is horrible asI watched him torched, I am sure he will become all pro. Whatever happened to that Ruckert kid from Long Island...tight end for the Buckeyes? .....just checked, staying in school. Too bad, like him a lot more than Farrell...kid has great hands.

You dont think Collins' level of competition is going to effect his draft position, I feel like if he produced like he did in the SEC he would be in discussion as the top LB in the draft. I guess im just a little weary of small school prospects in the 1st or even 2nd round. Ya know Floyd is a free agent this season and looks like he is starting to really come into his own as the player who was drafted so high

I feel like there have been ALOT of rumblings about Parsons having some character issues recently, which would turn us off of him so high. Sucks cause he is a beast on the field. I would totally take either WR over Parsons, just wanted to do different scenarios. With JOK from Notre Dame, Nick Bolton from Mo, Chazz Surratt from UNC, or even Jabril Cox from LSU available outside of the 1st makes it easier choosing WR over Parsons Ruckert went back to Ohio St unfortunately, I think Charlie Kolar also went back to school. Love Ruckert tho, gotta rep those local kids

You hear the latest regarding Micah Parsons, apparently he's been named in a lawsuit regarding a former player and hazing ''The harassment and hazing ritual alleged by Humphries, the son of former Lion Leonard Humphries, includes: -Taking players’ clothes and not returning them. -Wrestling them to the ground, simulating a humping action while on top of them and placing their genitals in their face. -Placing their penis between the cheeks of their buttocks while naked in the locker-room shower and grabbing their genitals. Humphries accuses the participants of stating they intended to make other players “their b**** because this is prison” and telling them “I am going to Sandusky you.”'' www.pennlive.com/pennstatefootball/2020/03/4-penn-state-football-players-named-in-ex-teammates-harassment-suit-but-only-one-is-defendant-why.html

Made a couple trades to make things interesting. It is fun seeing the boards shift after the Senior Bowl. I would expect a couple of these names to continue to rise pretty rapidly.
R1 P19 WR Rondale Moore - Purdue- Might not have ideal size but the kid is a gamer. He is dynamic with the ball in his hands and flat out makes plays. We don't have someone who is a threat to take it to the house every time they touch it other than Saquon (who is coming off of an ACL). Moore gives us that day one. He would be electric and I think Jones would absolutely love him.
R2 P10 LB Zaven Collins - Tulsa- Graham would be drooling at the idea of getting Collins on the team. Do it all LB who could be used in many different ways. He is a dream pick for someone like Graham who loves disguising things and giving different looks.
R2 P19 EDGE Patrick Jones II - Pittsburgh- I still really like him as an edge rusher. I think edge is the #2 or #3 need on the team... along with WR and CB2. I think Jones would be a really good get and addition to the edge group
R3 P28 CB Greg Newsome II - Northwestern- 6'2 CB who I really liked watching this year. Let him be groomed by another tall CB in Bradberry and we really might have something like Bradberry, Holmes, and Newsome
R4 P11 WR Tamorrion Terry - Florida State- Really tall WR who has some freaky athleticism to him as well. Production wasn't quite there but in the 4th round I think you take chances on guys like this all day. Judge prides himself on development and things of that nature. Well, he has all the raw talent in the world. Let's make the most of it
R5 P17 C Quinn Meinerz - Wisconsin-Whitewater- Senior bowl darling. Dude was super impressive. Will likely go significantly higher than this.
R5 P29 OT Dillon Radunz - North Dakota State- Looked really good at the Senior Bowl. Could be a really solid OL prospect for OT/OG.
R6 P12 TE Quintin Morris - Bowling Green- He looked really solid when I was able to see him at the Senior Bowl too and have read some good things about him as well. TE is an area we could at the very least use some depth at
R6 P17 DL Tarron Jackson - Coastal Carolina- DL Depth
R6 P28 RB Rakeem Boyd - Arkansas- RB depth

NY Giants are closing in on the rabbit hole called 2nd contract of Barkley...something they will forever regret. Once it is signed, they can't go back until another injury, a cap absorbing release or a jump cut into quick sand...and this team will not recover from the fantasy stat boys poster child...a senseless draft pick compounded by the love of the TD break away name, a name that should be part of a committee and being drafted every 4 years, and in the middle rounds.
So, once we invest a good percentage of our cap into the thighs of God, it will be the defense that gets us anywhere. Yes, time to take this defense over the top, and into the superbowl land.
D -E - F - E - N - S - E !!!
11: R1 P11 LB Micah Parsons - Penn State
42: R2 P10 CB Paulson Adebo - Stanford
76: R3 P12 EDGE Patrick Jones II - Pittsburgh
113: R4 P11 LB Hamilcar Rashed Jr. - Oregon State
191: R6 P12 OT Cole Van Lanen - Wisconsin
196: R6 P17 TE Luke Farrell - Ohio State

Been a bit stagnant even post Senior bowl and honestly it's getting boring taking the same players at the same spots every time

R1 P11 OT Rashawn Slater - Northwestern R2 P10 TE Pat Freiermuth - Penn State R3 P12 CB Ifeatu Melifonwu - Syracuse R4 P11 LB Hamilcar Rashed Jr. - Oregon State R6 P12 WR Marquez Stevenson - Houston R6 P17 C Quinn Meinerz - Wisconsin-Whitewater
Not the biggest fan of the 2nd draft, maybe I would be if we did something to address our need at WR in Free Agency. Honestly I was looking to go WR in the 2nd, but some of the guys I wanted were gone at that point like Rashod Bateman taken 2 picks before me which changed my game plan

It was between Slater and JOK from Notre Dame

Technique is flawless...the guy who stopped Chase Young dead in his tracks has certainly showed more than a one good game....VERY impressed. I would have no problems taking him. He's a day 1 starter, and versatile.
