Interesting that tonight during the game I think it was Jim Nantz who brought it up. Said that reporters have already started to question wether Jones would be Benched. This is after week 4. Now another disappointing game and another loss. You know how the NY/NJ media is. I bet that question comes up again. I don’t know what the answer is.
Do you ride out the season with awful performance after awful performance or see what Colt McCoy has. Do you wait until we are possibly 0-10, 0-15? Then make the switch?
Jones hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 1. 2 Touchdowns in 5 games with a Quarter Back Rating of 68.3
On the Flip side he has the most Turnovers on the NFL

Nope you need to ride him out no matter how bad it gets. There's a chance he'll start improving, but if that doesn't happen it makes it a lot easier to figure out a game plan going into the offseason for whoever has to make some tough choices.

Might as well ride it out with jones. If he continues to fall flat on his face , we can justify moving on next year. Plus would colt Mccoy really be any better, we're better off hoping he improves

If we didn't have 2 TD's taken off the board by questionable calls, everyone including Jim Nantz would be calling him a hero right now.

No, you don't bench Jones for Colt McCoy. You already know McCoy isn't the answer at QB, and you need Jones to confirm the selection of Lawrence.
You do however bench Andrew Thomas. He's useless. Worse than Flowers at this point.

Don't see any point in starting a 34 year-old McCoy.
I don't care about what rumors reporters start. Fake news.

Colt McCoy is not the answer...to anything.

I think that if he's really bad in the midst of a game you bench him to make a point about accountability.
Also, there are 50 other players on the team that you need to evaluate as well, including some pieces on offense.
You may want to see if the OL performs better with a more experienced QB calling out protections or maybe changing into the right play. It would at least give you some contrast in evaluating the offense while only changing 1 factor (the QB).
Basically, if Jones doesn't improve, this team will be picking in the top 3. The issue they have is that there are quite a few other really terrible teams out there, like the Jets, that may just be worse than we are and will be in the same spot of likely wanting to pick a QB.

All while trading away our proven franchise WR. That's really bad.

I am not saying Colt McCoy is the answer. Like I said I honestly don’t know what the answer is. He is on track for a Dave Brown type season I am not saying Jones should be playing better then Mahomes but he should be equal or slightly better then Mullens ESPN has his projected TD to Int set at 8 for the season with 20 Interceptions. That doesn’t include Fumbles. www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/3917792/daniel-jones

I think 90% of the fan base knew they would Nothing when they gott the ball at the end. I hate his damn turnovers. But it seems like a damn jail break every time he drops back. Bad teams find ways to lose. They get their most offense and the D is horrific. The anatomy of a loser. I hardly fault DJ for this one.

The sideline reporter brought it up by asking Judge if he would consider a QB change after the half.
I thought it was a most asinine question and one only a ****in moron would ask it.
