No calls and no trades draft...more realistic
I would be very happy with this draft as I believe people are whining far too hard with getting a edge.
Wink wants a press corner, he gets his press corner. We certainly didn't hire him to not give him his needed ingredients.
We might want a pass rusher, but that's not what coach wants vs a corner.

Had to go defense this draft...Thibodeaux dropping this far? Gardner possibly being the best player in this draft? Wyatt who could be the best player on that entire Georgia defense? Pitre and Chenal?...Wink would have this team the greatest defense in the history of the NFL in 3 practices.... I got my right tackle, touched by the hand of Ares... and a selection of centers and guards I call my Kratos....Cook whom was touched by the hand of his girlfriend last night and my wide receiver...somebody who catches the football thrown to him by the QB. 5: R1 P5 CB Ahmad Gardner - Cincinnati 16: R1 P16 EDGE Kayvon Thibodeaux - Oregon 19: R1 P19 OT Trevor Penning - Northern Iowa 45: R2 P13 DL Devonte Wyatt - Georgia 75: R3 P11 S Jalen Pitre - Baylor 76: R3 P12 LB Leo Chenal - Wisconsin 81: R3 P17 WR Alec Pierce - Cincinnati 96: R3 P32 G Zach Tom - Wake Forest 112: R4 P7 RB James Cook - Georgia 147: R5 P4 G Dylan Parham - Memphis 173: R5 P30 C Cameron Jurgens - Nebraska 182: R6 P3 CB Mario Goodrich - Clemson TRADES Trade Partner: Denver Broncos Sent: Round 3 Pick 3 Received: Round 3 Pick 11 Round 3 Pick 32 Trade Partner: New Orleans Saints Sent: Round 1 Pick 7 Received: Round 1 Pick 16 Round 1 Pick 19 Trade Partner: Baltimore Ravens Sent: Round 2 Pick 4 Received: Round 2 Pick 13 Round 3 Pick 12 Saw something recently about Wyatt having some DV incidents in his past … not sure he is on our board

Who is this and what have they done with GL No trades?
Gave it a shot.....yep...not going to fix everything in one draft (didn't even trade Bradberry)
5: R1 P5 OT Evan Neal - Alabama
No brainer...book ends hopefully set for 10 years
7: R1 P7 EDGE Jermaine Johnson - Florida State
Ranked 9 on this big board...many mocks have him going to us here. I'm building this team the right way this time....front to back (front 7 is considered front )
36: R2 P4 DL Travis Jones - Connecticut
See above...I want both lines to be able to control the game on both sides of the ball, makes life easier for everyone else.
67: R3 P3 TE Jeremy Ruckert - Ohio State
This guy in a modern offense where he can be am extra O lineman in the running game and a chain moving machine in the passing game once the outside weapons establish a fear factor on opposing defenses..... this is Russ Ballard from tbe 2011 season.
81: R3 P17 WR Skyy Moore - Western Michigan
Prototypical Daboll/Kafka type Weapon....smallish but top end route runner, quick, house speed, can play all over..could even make Toney expendable if he is a butthead this year .
112: R4 P7 C Luke Fortner - Kentucky
Could challenge for the starting job sooner than later, more depth inside
147: R5 P4 CB Mario Goodrich - Clemson I seem to remember this guy was hyped a few years ago to be a first rounder.. Some depth in the secondary
173: R5 P30 RB Kyren Williams - Notre Dame
Either a glitch or whatnot...in reality this guy is gone by the mid 3rd But sometimes players fall for whatever reason Reminds me a lot of later era Tiki...can do it all and do it well..
182: R6 P3 OT Andrew Stueber - Michigan He is a guard at the next level and I remember him having an incredible game vs OSU,was plowing a path for Haskins all day..
Ok No safety or MLB...can't get it all with no trade backs.. Mainly wanted to beef the front 7 and O line early then fill in with playmakers and depth that could be starters on the O line eventually
Not bad

Now one with trades
7: R1 P7 OT Charles Cross - Mississippi St
Took a major trade with the Saints as Neil and Icky were gone, get the best pure pass protector in the draft...as we seem to be putting together a basketball on grass type passing attack
16: R1 P16 DL Jordan Davis - Georgia
BPA..games are won on the LOS..Linderbaum was available ad Burks...but I want to build it right..beef the front 7 on D and the O line
19: R1 P19 G Zion Johnson - Boston College
Linderbaum was still there...chose Johnson because he also has the ceiling to be a perennial all pro who could move over to C if needed
36: R2 P4 C Tyler Linderbaum - Iowa
Ok between him,Dean and Lloyd...**** it,this fixes the line once and for all..
67: R3 P3 LB Quay Walker - Georgia
So I got a LB to quiet the beezer brigade. And s good athletic young one
81: R3 P17 TE Jeremy Ruckert - Ohio State
My philosophy again, let the dynamic plamakers do their thing,,get a 2 way TE that is like an extra O lineman running it and be a chain moving/red zone machine in the passing game.
94: R3 P30 WR Skyy Moore - Western Michigan Speaking of which the perfect type WR for the Daboll/,Kafka offense.
98: R3 P34 RB James Cook - Georgia
And why not make the old school purists throw the remote. This offense is going to be all about speed and home rum threats..let's get a back that can do this as well
112: R4 P7 EDGE Sam Williams - Ole Miss
Strange this guy is so low on boards..he had a big year last year
147: R5 P4 CB Mario Goodrich - Clemson
Was once highly touted. Add some depth back there while we find out if Aaron Robinson is the guy
173: R5 P30 S Yusuf Corker - Kentucky
BPA,we will need safety depth
182: R6 P3 WR Charleston Rambo - Miami
Another prototypical Daboll/Kafka WR TRADES Trade Partner: Kansas City Chiefs
Sent:
CB James Bradberry Received:
Round 3 Pick 30 Trade Partner: New Orleans Saints
Sent:
Round 1 Pick 5 Received:
Round 1 Pick 16 Round 1 Pick 19 Round 3 Pick 34

Trading back for the wall draft. Getting ready to replace thunder thighs and our overpriced receivers and expecting Daniel Jones to get his final test under ideal playing conditions. If Andrew Thomas, Kenyon Green, Tyler Linderbaum, Ed Ingram and Charles Cross can't create lanes and pass protection, we are cursed. Lloyd becomes the defensive captain, and by next year we begin fixing the defense....the Wink way...cornerbacks...can't have too many he says?...we start 11. Cornerbacks rushing, covering, playing nose tackle... If this draft is correct, I will be using this to show the board I was right on every post...it will be my life as my mom brings me my macaroni and cheese down in the basement. A tweet, a scoop of melted cheese covered pasta, followed by this draft being posted in a thread somewhere saying...look here, Aris knew all along. You will then all have to refer to me as the king. A for what it's worth, if this draft is not correct, I have more coming...lot's more. One will be right...and I then become...the draft KING! 7: R1 P7 OT Charles Cross - Mississippi State 16: R1 P16 C Tyler Linderbaum - Iowa 19: R1 P19 G Kenyon Green - Texas A&M 42: R2 P10 LB Devin Lloyd - Utah 67: R3 P3 WR Christian Watson - North Dakota State 81: R3 P17 RB Breece Hall - Iowa State 82: R3 P18 TE Jalen Wydermyer - Texas A&M 112: R4 P7 DL Phidarian Mathis - Alabama 147: R5 P4 WR Khalil Shakir - Boise State 173: R5 P30 P Matt Araiza - San Diego State 182: R6 P3 G Ed Ingram - LSU TRADES Trade Partner: Indianapolis Colts Sent: Round 2 Pick 4 Received: Round 2 Pick 10 Round 3 Pick 18 Trade Partner: New Orleans Saints Sent: Round 1 Pick 5 Received: Round 1 Pick 16 Round 1 Pick 19

Only player missing that I really like and hope the Giants end up with him is Jamari Salyner.

Le sigh A knee jerk mock after trading Toney and what I would be thinking.... might as well get as much draft assets and completely rebuild most of this offense asap ... remember we don't know who our starting qb will be in 2023,let's build that side of the ball all over up front and outside as possible so if we have to draft a new guy we have a ready made offense Especially if we take a new guy and have to trade the house to get up we might still need Golladay...so
And fortify the front 7 on defense, give Robinson 17 games to be a permanent starter out there ..in a dead year...
7: R1 P7 OT Charles Cross - Mississippi St
BPA..pass protector....plugs in at RT...
16: R1 P16 G Zion Johnson - Boston College
Yeah I'm building the wall with these draft assets too..
19: R1 P19 WR Chris Olave - Ohio State
I go back and forth on favorite WR..he does everything incredible..but route running is perfect and he has the home run speed A professional dynamic reciever replaces Toney..almost at the same draft spot.. Jones and/or the next guy will be thankful for having this guy
36: R2 P4 DL Devonte Wyatt - Georgia
One of 125 guys that have a top 50 grade that could fall....beefing the D line will help the entire defense..
50: R2 P18 EDGE Drake Jackson - USC Then add a nice edge rusher that can play the run...
67: R3 P3 LB Leo Chenal - Wisconsin
And a really good Mic prospect...I've improved the front 7 to where the defense will keep the team competitive
81: R3 P17 TE Cade Otton - Washington
Just missed Ruckertt...Otton is similar in style Professional inline 2 way TE that will be a chain moving red zone machine once weapons are established
112: R4 P7 G Lecitus Smith - Virginia Tech
Can also play C..probably gets groomed to take over there in a year or even less
121: R4 P16 RB Dameon Pierce - Florida
Reminds me of Emmit Smith...IL take one
147: R5 P4 S Bryan Cook - Cincinnati
Glaring BPA...need some safety depth
173: R5 P30 TE Chigoziem Okonkwo - Maryland
Screwed up,wanted Bo Melton but was taken 1 pick ahead of this pick...get another TE prospect
182: R6 P3 WR Charleston Rambo - Miami
The Daboll/Kafka offense relies on WRs that are ace route runners that are more shifty, quick, with dynamic ball skills..especially running option routes.. Losing Toney means we need a guy now and for the future as in 2023 no more Shepard or James.. This guy was a pass catching machine all over the formation in Miami..kinda reminds me of a faster Shepard. TRADES Trade Partner: Kansas City Chiefs

3 bottles of wine deep, 1 chablis, 1 gamay, and 1 granache, a heavy touch of Mendocino breath, the wife is sleeping might as well do a mock while im bumping old school OutKast on my headphones.. and here we go....
5: R1 P5 OT Evan Neal - Alabama RT of the future, not great balance, high floor, even higher ceiling. He's long, and he's strong.. and hes down to get the friction on?? LMAO
7: R1 P7 OT Ikem Ekwonu - NC State His name might as well be O'Doyle cause dude is an old school bully. He is RAW, he beats people left and right and that's without knowing how-to play OL, imagine him with ANY sort of refinement
36: R2 P4 CB Roger McCreary - Auburn 3rd favorite cb after Sauce Money and Booth. Dude is a nasty press man cb which wink loves
67: R3 P3 EDGE Myjai Sanders - Cincinnati Spèedy, bendy, total pass rush specialist
81: R3 P17 TE Jeremy Ruckert - Ohio State Dude is from Lindenhurst, LI automatically he's my favorite TE. He blocks like a beast, he wasn't a receiving target much, but when he was he held his own. GREAT hands, reminds me of Pat Freiermuth
112: R4 P7 DL John Ridgeway - Arkansas He's a straight up NT, dude is old school tough. He's not going to be a pass rusher but he is am old school 0-1 tech
147: R5 P4 WR Khalil Shakir - Boise State Sounds familiar, once the ball gets in his hands, ELECTRIC. YAC monster, not a great route runner
173: R5 P30 RB Zamir White - Georgia If not wasn't for 2 ACL tears, dude would go much higher. DOESNT shy away from contact
182: R6 P3 P Matt Araiza - San Diego State ... Where do I Start, his nickname is THE PUNT GOD for Christ's sake!! Dude drops 75+ yders on the reg, has a BOOOOOOOOMING leg, hell if he had any sort of touch he'd be a 2nd rounder. Not only can he boot that shit, he LOVES to hit. Toney and Bradberry heading to Kansas City, here they come. Got a 30 overall pick, and Kenyon Green, thus made some lemonade ..... Linderbaum lasted until round 2...was he vs a wide receiver. Went generational little center. Corner over edge....

Dude drops 75+ yders on the reg, has a BOOOOOOOOMING leg, hell if he had any sort of touch he'd be a 2nd rounder. Not only can he boot that shit, he LOVES to hit. Riley Dixon sucks, **** it do it live!! Nice remote saving draft... Love Roger McCreary and the tape I have seen...steal at that spot.

Toney and Bradberry heading to Kansas City, here they come. Got a 30 overall pick, and Kenyon Green, thus made some lemonade ..... Linderbaum lasted until round 2...was he vs a wide receiver. Went generational little center. Corner over edge.... TEAM PICKS 5: R1 P5 OT Evan Neal - Alabama 7: R1 P7 CB Ahmad Gardner - Cincinnati 30: R1 P30 G Kenyon Green - Texas AM 36: R2 P4 C Tyler Linderbaum - Iowa 76: R3 P12 LB Quay Walker - Georgia 81: R3 P17 TE Greg Dulcich - UCLA 100: R3 P36 RB James Cook - Georgia 119: R4 P14 WR Bo Melton - Rutgers 128: R4 P23 DL John Ridgeway - Arkansas 147: R5 P4 G Zach Tom - Wake Forest 173: R5 P30 P Matt Araiza - San Diego State 182: R6 P3 S Yusuf Corker - Kentucky TRADES Trade Partner: Kansas City Chiefs Sent: WR Kadarius Toney CB James Bradberry Received: Round 1 Pick 30 Trade Partner: Baltimore Ravens Sent: Round 3 Pick 3 Received: Round 3 Pick 12 Round 3 Pick 36 Trade Partner: Baltimore Ravens Sent: Round 4 Pick 7 Received: Round 4 Pick 14 Round 4 Pick 23 Love it.... Built the wall...check 7th pick is kinda a luxury pick hindsight if this plays out (I would still go edge here as I love Johnson now ..and figure out corner in 2023 when we have the cap room for an instant high end FA fix) Bo Melton is Hill/Toney style.... I actually wouldn't be surprised if we take him with our 4th as we had him in for a visit (local private combine)and supposedly turned heads.... Might have been one reason the regime said screw it let's see what we can get for Toney

R1 P5 OT Ikem Ekwonu - NC State - very hard to pass on Ickey if he’s available. Instant nastiness brought to the OL and could be a perennial all-pro type of player
R1 P7 CB Ahmad Gardner - Cincinnati - elite skills and size at CB. Has supreme confidence in himself which is needed at that position. Would allow us to part ways with Bradberry and arguably get a better player at this time to replace him.
R2 P4 EDGE Nik Bonitto - Oklahoma - versatile edge who brings a lot of speed. I think Wink would love to have him
R3 P3 WR David Bell - Purdue - does everything very well other than blazing speed. For that he’ll fall but I think he’s a really good WR
R3 P17 LB Troy Andersen - Montana State - athletic freak who has all of the upside in the world. He makes plays all over the place. Him learning from Martinez would be great for his development
R4 P7 C Cameron Jurgens - Nebraska - really good center prospect after Linderbaum
R5 P4 G Lecitus Smith - Virginia Tech - quality guard prospect. Continue to build the OL
R5 P30 S Percy Butler - Louisiana - Really nice sleeper prospect I like at safety.
R6 P3 RB Pierre Strong Jr. - South Dakota State - athletic and undervalued RB prospect who would be a great get

Final mock of this season....my opinion below
(Accepted a major Trade up with Pittsburgh and they took Willis at 5,got a 3rd for Bradberry
7: R1 P7 OT Charles Cross - Mississippi St
Neal and Icky were gone..get the best pass protector in this class...not a bad thing as it's a passing league and we probably will be trying to get something going there.
20: R1 P20 G Zion Johnson - Boston College
Hardest Pick in this draft, was between Zion and Jordan Davis.. both interior beasts ..
What swayed me is there will be IDL beasts in the 2nd,nobody like Johnson at all..take the player that is best at his position...this line is now cooking with fire
36: R2 P4 DL Travis Jones - Connecticut
I keep seeing Linderbaum here,I just think he doesn't get past the Bengals..with that said my instincts were correct that passing on Davis as similar talent here was correct..I now have my interior beast here
52: R2 P20 EDGE Myjai Sanders - Cincinnati
I had a choice of edge guys here, took a guy that came up big all season to close out games .. should make our edge guys a nice deep unit.
67: R3 P3 TE Jeremy Ruckert - Ohio State
One of my guys, perfect guy to have when your offense features multiple dynamic playmakers all over in am 11,think what Ballard was in 2011,this is all we need, this guy will be a great addition to our running game while feasting in wide open space because of our playmakers (in theory )clearing out all that space..and be a TD machine in goal to go situations.
81: R3 P17 LB Channing Tindall - Georgia
So many good MLBs on day 2,decided on a guy from the best defense in ages in all of football..
94: R3 P30 RB James Cook - Georgia
Many relics want a bruiser...modern NFL offenses use a fleet of similar home run threats so that the defense always has players to fear all over..Barkley takes a breather and this guy takes one 69 yards house on a screen..
112: R4 P7 WR Tyquan Thornton - Baylor
Was targeting Bo Melton here...he went 1st pick in the 4th 😞 settled for one of the fastest guys in the draft, and had production albeit limited due to meh qb play at ,Baylor..now that the Toney rumors are squashed and not in dire need of a replacement going for a WR at our leisure that fits our system is the best way to bolster a very iffy group from top to bottom..
147: R5 P4 S Bryan Cook - Cincinnati
BPA,our safety depth is meh.
173: R5 P30 CB Chase Lucas - Arizona State
Depth at the position(why i waited this long for a corner below)
182: R6 P3 WR Romeo Doubs - Nevada
This guy was a 3rd round pick until the combines...he wasn't invited apparently...out of sight out of mind means we steal another dynamic playmaker for youth and new blood at this position. FWIW Aziza was taken 2 picks ahead of me..
So
Got some 2023 major draft capital and a 2nd and 3rd for 2 trades to tap into this deep talent
My O line if we have decent coaching could actually resemble average to slightly above average..
Added 2 speedy dynamic playmakers to a deep but iffy unit that if nothing was done would only have Toney and Golladay if even that next year
Ruckert adds to the overall offense and adding Cooks gives the RB room a bunch of threats that teams have to worry about making house calls any time they touch it
Stuck to my philosophy of building the front 7 as early as possible and hit some good talent day 2
And again,in a dead year I'm in no rush to panic Pick a CB early to replace Bradberry when we have 2 kids in year 2 that looked good as rookies last year in Robinson and Williams.17 games for either or both to step up and claim that spot/major playing time, worst case scenario we now have over 100 million in space in 2023 to buy an already developed good corner next year TRADES Trade Partner: Pittsburgh Steelers
Sent:
Round 1 Pick 5
Received:
Round 1 Pick 20 Round 2 Pick 20 Future Round 1 Pick Future Round 2 Pick
Trade Partner: Kansas City Chiefs
Sent:
CB James Bradberry Received:
Round 3 Pick 30
