Am I the only person that does not care this dude wants to rap and makes odd social media posts? You're not the only one but I went from not being concerned to concerned. A knock on him coming out of college is that he wasn't fully committed to football and I think we saw that already before he even hit the field. It's not the rap but the attitude to me. Giants turned Toney from a college kid to a multimillionaire and he's out tweeting how he's more than a football player with a pissy attitude before taking a snap in the NFL. Don't think it's much to ask for him to be committed to football for 5-7 years of his life while getting paid the big bucks. This WR class was deep, the other guys are looking like professionals...but looks like other fans are more amused with Devonta Smith dropping a pass in practice. Mark my words we are going to be really sorry.

This same thing was being said about professional athletes during the Emmitt Smith, Jerry Rice days. People just get this false recollection as if the whole league was made up of guys who carried themselves like the handful of legends we remember fondly. Furthermore, I'll point out the obvious and mention our own Saquon Barkley. Whether or not he'll go down as one of the legendary rbs of the nfl remains to be seen, but his attitude and commitment are every bit as respectable as the guys you mentioned. And how about guys like Tom Brady. I guess it's too bad he doesn't have that attitude and commitment of the guys from the 80s and 90s. Maybe he couldve won 20 super bowls with a better head on his shoulders. 🤔....or wait, are you only disecting the character of black guys who have an unfortunate interest in music you don't like and speak in a dialect you think is beneath you? As for Kadarius, give the kid a chance. I mean jeeze, he hasn't even played a game yet. I haven't heard/seen anything objectionable from him since he's been with the team. Getting beat up by fans for making some lousy rap music. It's not hurting anyone, let him live his life.
I don't imagine he'll be receiving any invites to recite his song lyrics at the local grade schools anytime soon, but you never know these days.
IMO, it hurts children. It sends the absolute wrong message.
As for the player; he's being paid millions to help this football team. If he does that great. But right now I'm not feeling it are you?
I see a kid who can't get dressed properly, and one who skipped out on valuable reps with his new teammates and coaches. It appears he either doesn't care or is not very bright.
Maybe the Giants have a leftover "Talk Is Cheap" t-shirt for him from the TC days. He sounds like rhymer who could use it.
It hurts the children?? Oh man....this is getting out of control. Get a grip. It really doesn't matter what you're feeling. These guys haven't even gotten hit yet. It's June. Ill let you know how I'm feeling about Kadarius in November. Right now, I have high hopes for him and that's about it.

Stupid knows no color. And that is exactly what he is. Dialect! Ha! It’s called bad English! Misspelled words is not dialect…it is stupidity and I’m sorry you think that I’m targeting him because of color. Now I’m going to really piss people off and say what I’ve been saying since draft day…..BAD PICK!….GET THIS GUY THE HELL OUT OF HERE! Don't pull that color bullshit with you? What are you going to do? Type in all caps? I was just pointing out the obvious, no need to reiterate your feelings. Did your son get a gm job yet?

Kids look up to these players. The lyrical content is not appropriate for them.
Other than that every Giants fan has high hopes for his success as it translates to helping us win. And yeah it's early, but football is a year-round sport. The players always in the spotlight now.

This is the new way these kids this age act. "Football (or insert anything) does not define me". I'll hold off concern until the season (or at least the summer) starts.

I'll worry about this kid if the HC has issues with him. Probably not before that.

I agree it goes back to what LT has been saying. There is no way you can be at the top of your game if you are not all in. Not going to practice to do a rap song is not looking good in the commitment aspect. There are reasons why few are All pros (some multiple times).and most never are. There is a reason Brady came out of the 6th round to achieve what he has. It goes beyond every one missed on him for 5 rounds or he is just that great. He is great because he willed himself to be. I have no issue with it . But there is reason concern.

All this discussion about commitment is just due to the fact we hear it ALL the time. This player or that player is the 1st in and last to leave is a common phrase used to talk up players. I've seen so many talented bowlers flop on tour because they weren't committed enough or at all to the practice needed both physically and mentally which was pretty much 24/7.. I still don't get why a player wouldn't want to be all in 24/7 for the handful of years they potentially have being a professional athlete then they could mess around with anything else on a professional level afterwards.. Olympic athletes better be all in if they want to sniff a chance on that stage as another example.. Bowling is a sport of repetition. If you can not do it the same every time. That bowler that can is going to beat you. That skill level takes commitment day in and day out. You either have or you do not. You are born with that drive. That can't be coached into an athlete. I think that is true with any sport. Now it makes sense why you have very little respect for the SPORT of bowling since you think it's still the 70s and 80s.. In the 90s the equipment change was dramatic with exotic weight blocks and enhanced cover stocks. Add to that different plastic lane surfaces and the game is way more complex then the one you know. There are so many adjustments that a player today needs to be able to do as the tournament progresses which is COMPLETELY different then the simple game you know! Maybe people can't be made better if they aren't "born with the drive" but being a person that always understood it was needed I will always find it crazy when the "gifted" ones don't seem to have it..

Am I the only person that does not care this dude wants to rap and makes odd social media posts? I look beyond that is a simple tweet or he wants to have a music career too. Its all about dedication to the NYGs and his working hard every day all the time to get better at what he does. That is in question just based on a few post draft actions. We dont know if he can handle the whole package. He may be able to and may not.

But now that he’s getting a taste of the expectations of the fan base, we’ll see how he responds. Who knows, maybe he can write a song about it.

How come Dallas fans don't attack Cole Beasley? Rapping is not my issue with the young man

It’s amazing how fans just wanna tear these kids down. These guys have a life outside of football as well as other interests. You all have jobs I’m assuming, do you do nothing but work 24/7? Give it a rest.

How come Dallas fans don't attack Cole Beasley? Rapping is not my issue with the young man Unfortunately I live in Dallas and a lot of fans did attack him for arguing with and swearing at fans on Twitter (along with his wife). Most weren’t upset to see him go and the Cowboys have been doing just fine without his production and distractions. He also put up solid numbers and didn’t start his crap attitude until at least a few years into his pro career IIRC. I’m sure if Toney put up solid numbers prior ro promoting his rap career and arguing with fans than a lot of people wouldn’t have an issue with it either, at least the rapping part.

(not very patient people) My advise to this kid would have been keep doing the music but fly under the radar until your score a bunch of TD's. After that show more of your artistic side and marketing skills.

I have to admit that after listening to KT's song, I couldn't get it out of my head the rest of the night.
Thankfully it only lasted one night.
