Seems like it was a mixed bag for both teams
Apparently we were practicing a lot of RPO/QB run pass option type plays ..mixed results
O line had a mixed day at times it seems Also saw soms.more juggling...Soldier and someone other than Lemieux on the left for a bit..Soldier got work on the right as well

From what I'm hearing, the Giants were utterly embarrassed on both sides of the ball today. And this is all first-team, so there are no excuses.

In our defenses only defense. Mac Jones is going to be the next NFL phenom. But in their first real test this year, our defense got embarrassed by a rookie QB. And that Jackson injury could be a game-changer.

Giants defense have not played starters much and when they did they did fine in the cleveland joint practices, started slow but shut them down in day 2 . reading further along they had scored 10 points in 2min drill and scored 3 TDs in redzone work made plays during regular 11-on 11 and 7-7. defense had some good pass rush and run fits were tight. they have work to do Mac Jones had a nice day lets see how thing go these scrimmage are gonna have good and bad.

Just saying this is very basic they re seeing situations and guys are getting to work on thing that they aren't as comfortable doing.

Do you think they are game planning or something, it's gonna happen worry if it's happening during the season Jackson and Holmes was the same play it was the play Jackson tweeted his ankle. This why they manufacture these situation to work out the communication and get the kinks out.

This is promising Seems the trend is they have been doing their best in red zone drills and not near full strength with their weapons here .. Also seems Jones is honed in here as well, unlike last year where red zone trips were a disaster at times

I'm confused is this the Cleveland day 1 practice report or the New England day 1 practice report.....they both read the same.
To quote Allen Iverson....."we talkin about practice......"

Not sure why folks are scoring practice... "What are we talking about? Practice? We're talking about practice, man. We're talking about practice. We're talking about practice. We ain't talking about the game. We're talking about practice, man." *Allen Iverson*

Yup , some just getting the negative narrative going. Quoting Allen Iverson? There's the mistake right there. These scrimmages are a more accurate evaluation of a team than preseason games... If it doesn't happen in practice, it doesn't magically happen in week 1. Giants fans should of all people should understand this.

Practice, and in this situation joint scrimmages are no big deal when they play awful. When they’re on, it’s encouraging. Can’t make this shit up.. You become a better team behind the scenes. It’s not like, they roll out of bed and win football games. It takes preparation, dedication, and that dreaded word.. Practice.

You see a distinct difference in sports journalism outside NY. It was the same type of reporting last week in Cleveland. "We’re great! NY Stinks!" Whoo hoo! We beat them in a scrimmage, we’re the best team ever! For all the crap we give them, NY beat writers are a tad more accurate and realistic.

The downfield passing game was pretty non-existent for the Giants. Most of their completions were underneath, and their downfield shots fell incomplete. Unofficially, Jones went 24 of 37 with an interception. That seems to be the consensus number among Giants writers in attendance.
“Made some plays. Didn’t do some things great,” Jones said after practice. “That’s the way practice is sometimes.
I mean, you have to consider we're missing 4 big pieces from the offense. You have Shepard as our leading receiver (who left with an injury). And as much as I like Shep, that's just not gonna work.

of course the fact they Giants looked more bad tan good today means something. Whats the old adage.....you practice like you are going to play.
Positive news is always good to hear and negative sucks because its well.....negative.
See what happens tomorrow.

A bit leaky because one of the worst rated pass blocking guards wasn’t in the practice? Things that make you go hmmmmm…

No. But this idea that it doesn't matter because it’s practice, I don't know what the hell that's about.

Wait Shep got hurt too?!?!?!? Just **** it sit everyone till week 1......stupid ****ing CBA is the reason for all of these injuries....limited camps....limited contact.....limited practice days and now limited preseason games....anyone see a correlation here? Listening to other teams announcers makes me really appreciate Papa and Banks who are the best in the biz and harder on the Giants than anyone else others teams announcers are cringey cheerleaders......but reading other teams' beat writers does not make me appreciate the trash we have in NY....here they may be bit better but garbage is still garbage.

What a shit show.
Does anyone know if Rudolph was practicing with the 1's or at all?
Also, I hope the Giants don't get tuned up like the Eagles did in their last preseason game. The Pats made the Eagles look like a division II college football team...
