Really liking that they are using Penny I've been saying he has the athleticism to be that new age hybrid fullback/H back like San Francisco and Baltimore have (albeit Richard is a freak with his size)
Just think of the havoc you can cause in short yardage when he motions out wide

LMFAO. 35 yards of penalties in one possession right there. Judge should have the Oline run 10 miles for that. Put some Twinkies on the end of fishing poles as encouragement...

we have to know who held and jumped for the false start so we can thoroughly bash the player, the coaches and the GM properly!!!!!!

Like this guy more and more. Ryan called Wednesday’s practice “really frustrating.”“Yesterday, I wasn’t really happy how I played, I probably played my worst day I’ve played (of) football in a long time. Personally, I just felt like I didn’t lead our guys either. I just felt like I was out of it and I didn’t lead our guys the right way, whatever the reason may have been. No excuses. That’s football though,” Ryan said. “This ain’t best of seven. You strap it up, you play the next game. Fortunately, we got a second chance at it and I think we responded better today.”www.bigblueview.com/2021/8/26/22643109/giants-patriots-joint-practices-day-2-saquon-barkley-returns-and-more-takeaways

Good leaders have an occasional bad day... Great leaders have none... I hope his attitude is infectious and another picks up the torch when necessary. My money is on Jabrill Peppers. He may not be outspoken like Ryan is. But, he’s a firery player, who demands respect in the locker room. He reminds me a lot of Antrel Rolle. All guts, no glory.

Ryan is vocal wit the media and it refreshing to hear a player use the term "I" when its not for doing something good. Personal accountability.

Guy has deceptive quickness for a fullback

Great leaders have none... The fact is that Ryan can be exposed. He made the switch to Safety last year because he was getting killed in coverage as a CB. And of course, as a former Patriot, they figured this out. He's missed only 3 games in 8 seasons, guy's got some wear. Someone else had better be ready to step up.

The same Japan that in the beginning of the war out shipped us and out gunned us. The same Chester Nimitz while in command of the the USS Decatur ran it aground not following the tide tables in the Philippines in 1908. Yet this is the same guy that lead us to victory in the Pacific theater.

We need a Rolle type player. One of the best FAs we've ever had in the backfield. Agreed.. He played the ‘11 season with two torn rotator cuffs. And didn’t say a peep. The following season, when our secondary got hit by the injury bug. He moved to nickel back. Again, did it with no problem. The consummate pro, who put team above all.

The following season, when our econdary got hit by the injury bug. He moved to nickel back. Again, did it with no problem. The consummate pro, who put team above all. Agreed. He'll always be a great Giant IMO.

No question there, but this was about his performance. We got him at the tail end of his career, he's going to have bad days.

Don’t worry, we’ll have plenty of opportunities vs Denver. after we beat Denver you an rant all you want. I honestly expect to beat Denver primarily with our defense and running up the middle. If we don’t beat them, I’ll give them another couple games before I really start ranting. If this team is as improved as it should be, and some people think it is, then we should start off 2-1 at worst but 3-0 ideally. After those first 3 games is when we start to find out how they compare against some of the better teams in the league.
