The Giants did well firing Garrett yesterday, but why is Judge still around? Judge is the moron that hired Garrett and the one that did nothing until a press conference after another bad game. To make the team better you have to remove ALL of the cancer, not just part of it.

To make the team better you have to remove ALL of the cancer, not just part of it. Judge did NOT hire Garrett. John Mara did, remember? He more or less assigned Garrett to Judge. He had no say in who the coordinator was going to be. Nope, Judge is the HC, and the performance of ALL coaches are HIS responsibility…..Judge should go and go now for putting up with that incompetent for two years….a REAL Head Coach would have never hired or agreed to accept Garrett. This is just more proof that Judge has no idea what he is doing, so in desperation he dumps Garrett….Judge has to go as he has now lost the team and the rest of the coaching staff, especially after his childish rant after the game to the media….he sounded like A scared kid, blaming others. If he wanted to fire a coach, just do it and don’t rub his nose in it to the media. Right now the players know he is clueless and no FAs or even upcoming college players want to be on this sinking ship. The Giants need to sever relations quickly with Judge and Gettleman or a full blown player mutiny is in store after they lose the next two games. |

What does he know about football outside of theory? He talks a great game like a business professor that never worked in the private sector. Never ran an offense or defense. He can tell a guy how to run down there and tackle the guy returning the kickoff and punt . But that is about it on his practical experience.

This is one of these situations where we have to look at the evidence more then the testimony. Almost all of Judge’s staff is connected to Judge except Garrett. ANd the guy that Garrett brought from Dallas didn’t last the season. John is covering his tracks here. |

A reporter asked him yesterday, why he didn't call a timeout on that 4th down play when it was apparent there was confusion with the offense. His answer was: "That was the plan".
He should have been fired on the spot.
If "that was the plan"... Why didn't you call it? He's lost.

RB coach? DB coach? Online coach? LB coach? D line coach? There is no f-ing way the ineptitude on display with this team in all aspects of it are every coach on the staff's fault. Garrett was symptom not the problem. It is systemic from the top. |

But yeah Mara of course wants the blame to go on someone else. Just like Judge is passing the blame on garrett. Shit rolls downhill lol. What I found odd was, they only interviewd garrett and Shula for the oc job. Before shumur I dont believe Shula ran a wco. How did they not even think to interview one wco coordinator? Gettleman is the next in line to be fired, get that guy outta here. I have zero interest in this guy making anymore potentially destructive decisions. A new GM needs to be put in place to make moves for the upcoming season. Draft is coming, decisions on a new coach ,staff, players, etc. I want this clown nowhere near that table.

They all looked confused and were standing around and then all of a sudden hurried/ran up to the line quickly to run the play. Either way, we looked unprepared and overmatched. The Bucs defense appeared to know what plays we running as soon as they saw our formation - the difference between well coached teams and us. |

Now, after ten or eleven weeks , in the season and a very poor record. Garrett is fired ! Judge , may have one more season , to prove himself. Though , they definitely need a New GM ! |

Garrett was only recommended by John Mara. He wouldn't have been the OC if Judge didn't want him. What puzzles me is how Garrett got all these jobs to begin with if he just isn't very good. |

Dude has an excuse for everything, will throw anyone under the bus and has 0 feel for the game. The entire season was on the line for that play and they looked confused as all hell. I feel like you could sum up judges coaching career in that play. Unprepared for the situation and doubling down on not using his resources. And I'm not gonna kill Judge if they didn't make it after the timeout. It was 100% the right call to go for it. |
