I do not have any proof but I have a fear that 2 of our WR are immature at best if not diva like. That is a concern of mine. I will not name them because the things I have seen are not literal proof. Now the WR position in the NFL has a lot of divas. If you are catching 90 balls a year or an all pro being a diva is more tolerated. Theres a WR guy that bounced between Buffalos practice squad and roster named Jake Kumerow. Obviously with all of Buffalos WR talent he had limited opportunities. Ironically he is one of the guys Aaron Rodgers was so upset about GB not protecting or discussing with him last offseason. Not a diva and it will be interesting to see if Schoen makes a move for him. Issah McKenzie is a no brainer low cost replacement for Shepard... Lots of talent as usual day 3 at playmaker...Seems Buffalo likes the more shifty dynamic types of WRs as they usually are the type that are explosive in this style offense Honestly I'd like to see how Bachmann looks with this offense as well....he seemed to he good at KO returns last game ...he could be a late bloomer type like Welker was

It's paramount that we use our two #1 picks on OL. You cannot put up pts if you don't have the time to throw a pass downfield & you cannot open holes for your #1 RB. We can get a great edge rusher with #2 pick and a day 1 starter with #3 pick be it a LBer or CB or another OLman. The OL has to be fixed! Of the 2 sides of the ball, the OL is the main problem that has to be fixed in 22'. If this O could have put up 24ppg last yr, we're a playoff team Terrible way to run a draft. We can get solid IOL in the second and third rounds. Yeah, you right, the OL is good to go, let's draft D with both #1s, we can get "great" OLmen in the later rds, let other teams get the top 5 OLmen in the nation. Then you'll be the 1st one bashing Saquan when he gets hit 3yds behind the LOS and saying "he dances to much" while neglecting to see the 3 defenders in the backfield that plowed thru our OL. Like I said, NY needs to draft best RT/C/G with both #1 picks then sign a good FA. Edge rushers can be found in rd 2-3-4. Fix the OL!

I think he just means that you get the best tackle with the #5 pick and then you take best player available at #7. You don't go into the draft saying you must take two Olineman, what happens then if the Jets and Jaguars take an Olineman and we have the opportunity to take Hutchinson/Thibodeaux, do we just pass on them because we need to take two Olineman with both our first round picks? We should see how the picks before us unfold and then make a decision based on that, instead of coming with a predetermined position that we must take two olineman regardless of what happens.

I keep hearing that those 2 guys will be gone by the time we pick. If one is still there, then yeah, I change it to draft best OLman & draft Hitch or Thib, but if both are gone, I want best RT/C/G with both picks. we can get a edge rusher with #2 pick.

I think that one of the top OT's will be there at 5 ... so need will meet value there. I am all for that pick. Sorry, though, I'm not automatically taking IOL at 7 unless someone can convince me that the player is Quentin Nelson. Take the BPA available at that point. If it's not an IOL, then so be it. We can get starters at that position in the second and third rounds (we have 2 third round picks). Slotting positions for certain drat picks before the draft, when you don't even know who will be available, is a recipe for disaster IMO.

So if the 2 best edge rushers are gone by the time we pick, you still won't draft best 2 OLmen that might be there? Our OL has been our Albatross since after the 2011 SB, heck by then it was our weak point, we have drafted badly on OL since then! Fix the OL, we start scoring more points, score more pts, we win more games. I'm damn sick and tired of seeing this O struggle to score 21pts in an era where the rules make it easy to score 28ppg!

Hopefully Shoen can improve the talent level on offense quickly or else there is a strong possibility of another subpar offensive season, imo. Might be tough...I heard something today about Shoen wanting to clear 40 million of cap space...have more confidence in Shoen than Gettleman though. So by not re signing Peppers and Solder does that save 20-25 mil a season or more ? Does that count on saving part of the 40 mil ? Plus rookie contracts not going to be picked up with their 2nd contracts, the big money contracts. Say Hernandez, Engram for example. I seen on one of these threads all the players names that are FA's or restricted FA's. It looked like half the team or at least 20 names. I don't know how many players will have to be signed to the roster to fill it. But it will be filled with maybe 10 rookies this season plus how many still on their rookie contracts. Is it an exaggeration to say close to half the 53 man squad or more will be on rookie contracts. Plus some contracts renegotiated say Bradberry, Martinez for example. Our cap expert should be able to shuffle money around to make the cap work. Hell when I had my bar in south Queens I had an accountant that was a genius. People can always make numbers work. I honestly don't see all the panic over the cap. We just will be pulling back on FA this season and replacing it with draft choices and rookie contracts. I'm just thinking it shouldn't be as bad as all these reporters are saying. We'll make it work. How many big salaries do we have 6 maybe on defense ? LW, Ryan, Bradberry, Martinez, Jackson, anyone else ? McKinney, Ojulari, Lawrence, all on Rookie contracts. Who on offense beside Goladay ? Jones, Barkley, Toney, Thomas, all #1 draft choices on rookie contracts.

Jones is dog shit that the Giants and few stragglers continue to put Febreze on. You know where he would excel at? As a gadget quarterback, like the Saints use Taysom Hill. His best ability is his legs, I’ve seen him out run NFL cornerbacks in this league. He’s surprisingly fast. Also, the read option with him works to perfection. When you ask him to be an NFL quarterback, read defenses and overcome a bad offensive line. He folds like a bad poker hand. I think his running ability is vastly overated. How often does he make defenders miss? Hes a terrible scrambler in the pocket. Zero agility. Id rather have a QB who can scramble and move well in the pocket then a qb who runs head first into defenders or the ground Nah, the kid can run with the best of them. It’s the only thing he does well and consistently. And now the Giants are supposedly taking that away from him. Might as well put stop on his chest, because he just became a stop sign.

Jones starts this year if he is healthy. It may be his "best" chance, but that does not mean it will be a good or even average chance with this team's current state. i feel bad for him. Decent prospect stuck on a bad team. Now new staff. This could take a few more years to get going by then he is likely gone.

The cool thing is Jones is similar to Josh Allen in QB style. So I am hoping this can work out for him.

It's a recipe for reaching throughout the draft Some are saying our team might loose draft picks, likely a first rounder, because of this Flores story. That would certainly throw off the draft for us, in all the rounds.

No it's just this won't go to court in all likelihood before the draft So getting back to this thread topic, Daniel Jones' "best chance" season will not be compromised by this. And hopefully we can tell the league go ahead and take away that first rounder next draft, we have Daniel Jones.

That's right blame everybody but Jones. You think he doesn't have weapons?? KG, Barkley, Engram. Good QBs makes others look better. This made me laugh. This board has had multiple threads about how bad Barkley is and how he should not be kept. I say he is coming off injury and that takes time. This board argued with me that Engram was not even worth a 5th round pick at last seasons trade deadline. I think he has talent but do admit he makes some huge errors. KG? Really? I'm a diehard Giants player supporter and even I despised what I saw from him. He has one of the lowest separation numbers in the NFL and a horrible clutch rate for $20 mill a year. These weapons would be ranked in the lower 20% of the league at best last season. KG isn't megatron, but how did his numbers look when he had a Good qb throwing him ball?

KG missed the first 2 games of his last season as a Lion. Then he played in 5. Then he missed the last 9 games with a hip injury last season. He averaged 4 catches a game. Then this season he battled a hip, knee, and groin injury so its hard to compare to his 2018 and 2019 seasons.

NY is losing zero draft picks cuz Flores is full of it.
