The disagreement among fans about both the Giants GM and players is quite remarkable, but not surprising. Will be interesting to see how things shake out. Except for the trade for Burns, I'm not impressed. Believe most other players are at best serviceable but not high quality players as they each have significant holes in their game. Will need to see the role Jones plays going forward and who the Giants draft, and see the team play together, and given the dramatic changes, and departure of some key players, nows not the time to make any assessments. Have far less trust in both Schoen and Daboll then I did before last season. Learned my lesson. The Giants will take a step backwards in certain areas and a step forward in others. Relying on a new OL coach is not likely to improve the OL significantly which is needed. Don't sense the Giants will put a product on the field worth watching and rooting for but would be pleasantly surprised if they do. But the die hard fans here who love the Giants because they live here and love football will. To each his own. Coming from the fan who says Banks is a bust and Hawkins has much more upside. [ I'm saying Banks not worthy of being a first round pick and is simply not that good. Say the same as you as you dislike Jones.

Deonte Banks is by far our best corner and looks like he'll be a complete shut down corner.

Singletary & Dillon would be a good one-two punch at RB and both have shown they can handle the workload if one gets injured.

Say Eric Gray is not in the picture and the draft has no RB that can compliment Singletary. Which free agent running back left does it for you? www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/all/running-back/all/

Just because Banks is the Giants best corner doesn't make him good. Believe Robinson is a better CB, and the Giants passed on a CB in the draft that is better than Banks. Too bad Robinson was out for the season.

Me too. Lol. Admittedly though AJ Dillon is 3 years younger so I wouldn't be upset with that choice.

Hell yeah...Quadzilla was somebody many draft junkies here wanted when he was coming out from Boston. He's a hammer with a nice jump cut at his size...could be a nice 4 minute drill back for us, and actually would stay in bounds. I'd still like to draft a RB later, one that runs a nice route and has hands. I love this kid and these three would be quite effective for any QB

If it were true it would be a cool (and unfortunate) name for a rb.. Anyhoo I got shades of Christian Mccaffrey in this video bite. Good chance we draft him since hes from NE. It would be better if he was from Boston College, Syracuse, Monmouth or even Fordham (Go Rams!)

Just to rehash in order as I recall it:
1-Cut Glowinski 2-Re-sign Kreiter 3-Re-sign Coughlin 4-Re-sign Gunner 5-McKinney leaves for Green Bay 6-Saquon leaves for Philadelphia 7-Sign Jon Runyan 8-Sign Devin Singletary 9-Sign Jermaine Eluemunor 10-Trade for Brian Burns and pick him up at the airport with a Brinks truck. 11-Tyrod leaves for Jets 12-Sign Drew Lock 13-A'Shawn leaves for Carolina 14-Sign Jalen Mills 15-Sign Isaiah McKenzie ...... Did I miss anything?

IF we get AJ Dillion this is going to be a fun year IDK, not a fan of the Dillon idea. Didn't look good to me last season and RBs don't usually get better over time.

I believe he had some nagging injuries last year. He is still only 25 years old and low mileage since he split a lot of time with Aaron Jones. I've also seen reports of interest for Boston Scott. I like the sound of that idea as well but he is 28 at this point though mileage is also low since he has split a lot of time with other Eagles RB's.

Coming off a down year, but I'd be willing to give him a shot.

I'd try to bring Jackson back and look to the draft for another one. If they had the money, give Gillmore a one year deal. He is 34 but at least he is healthy and had a good year last year.

No chance we can afford Adoree White is hurt, yes, next year will be write off. But he's a top-15 CB talent in the NFL.

A.J Dillon blows.. Guy benefited from having Aaron Rodgers under center his first three years. He only has two gears.. Slow and backwards..

With this said, we could look to draft a CB in the second, just not sure a starter will be there

Very, very few. Particularly, in our match based system which requires intelligence at the position. Tre Hawkins is a young guy they thought would work - the result was a perfect QB rating when targeting him in coverage.

Hawkins was a 6th round rookie, it's not surprising he did poorly. If the Giants drafted another CB in the 2nd or 3rd round I think the expectations would be higher, but the goal would be to get experience (even if it is bad experience) this coming year and be more ready for 2025. Maybe if you think White will still be good in 2025 that would work, but the Giants would still need a corner while he gets healthy.
