I'm 39, gonna be 40 before Labor Day. Family is from Parkchester in The Bronx, my dad and my Uncle Mike used to games at Yankee Stadium, so you can say I was born into this. I've lived all over the country, from Brooklyn to LI, LOL. I've met some of you guys in person and am always looking forward to meeting more of you in person. The G-Fambulance is no more, but I still attend games My avatar is a picture from the 07 super bowl that the daily news posted and I'm right smack dab in the middle with my hard hat on only been to a couple, but the fambulance was good times. I'm a latecomer; I only got to one but I definitely feel lucky and privileged for having been able to get to at least one. The great part was meeting Byron, Matt's wife (the story predates me), JPizz, Kase, gumby som others whose names I can't remember and the real Leonard Marshall. And I almost met Dezz. The worst part was meeting Morehead.

Nice story GS!! I've only been salmon fishing a few times. The first time was over 25 years ago. I read up on the Niagara River etc. Got all the gear and was stoked. Got up there, stood at the bank (couldnt tell you where at this point) and was completely overwhelmed by the immensity of the river!...lol. Stood there with mouth hanging open wondering what the hell to do next! Cold and icy too. There was so much I didnt know! Went salmon fishing two more times after that but went to Pulaski instead! Yeah the "Mighty Niagara" is actually not a river but a strait. It connects Lake Erie to Lake Ontario with some sections as deep as 200'. That Salmon River in Pulaski is a beautiful river but mobbed during the Fall Salmon runs. My operation actually chases the Salmon, Steelhead, Brown trout, and Lake Trout out in the open Lake--which is actually like a small ocean. Ah...thank you for the clarification. Which lake are you on? The Great Lakes are "great" for a reason!! Pluaski can get crowded for for. Dougluston's Run is a bit better but that can crowded too. Will def reach out to you if we make another trip up there!!

I was born the same year as Joan Jett, Michael Jackson, Prince, Michelle Pfeiffer and Sharon Stone......1958. So I'm 65. My emotional age is at about 8 and still dropping. Thank God. "8" huh? For someone not big on Jones you 2 have a lot in common

46. Been a fan since around '85 thanks to my Bronx born Dad. State I grew up in has no NFL team so it only seemed natural.

Be 62 next month and been a fan since the late 70's but really started being a serious fan in 1981 - Taylor made me start believing that year!!! The 80's to me were magical and enjoyable.

For rod and reel fishermen the Great Lakes are in their glory days now.

Been a very long time since we watched a game together or I have seen you. I hope this thread finds your family and yourself well! My senility has set in, but I vaguely remember.

Was curious as to what the average age of the board members were, so decided to throw all the data onto a spreadsheet since I had some free time. Surprised that TEM didn't already do this... According to the data within 10 years the average board member here will be on SS/Medicare enjoying their time playing gulf or on a cruise while reading up that the Giants have fired their 4th GM and 7th HC because they failed Daniel Jones and that this year will be the year that he finally breaks out (sorry, saw a poster saying they were waiting to see how someone would inject Daniel Jones into this thread ) straightrazorman can legit be idkaname’s grandfather. And I could be your father. Oh, wait...

I'm sitting here wondering if I should tell the truth here for a change. I've turned 30 every December for a while now and I don't celebrate my birthday, so it is kinda true, right?
Ah....what the hell. I'm 42. And if you tell anyone, I'll deny it.

Obviously answers are voluntary. McCherry’s post of tribute to GL got me thinking about this. When Im high fiving your comment, or finding a polite way to say I think you’re nuts (I’m sure my comments illicit the same responses, more of the latter than former), I want to make sure my mind’s eye has the right image to congratulate or chide. I’m 51. I'm 42 gonna be 43 on June 5th

People still believe me when I claim to be in my 20s. I think I can thank my mom for that, everyone always thought she was perpetually in her 20s. Being sub 5 ft helps I'm sure.
