I was playing around with the PFN mock draft simulator today and more than a couple times I ended up in position to grab a top 3 WR in round 1 and then Terrance Marshall WR LSU was the top guy on the board in round two. I don't see it happening but would you guys be ok if we went with one of the top 3 WRs in round 1 and then a guy like Marshall in round 2?
For me it helps they are different WRs. The first round guys are smaller/faster type WRs and Marshall is a 6'4" beast. It would completely change our offense IMO. Might cost us a good defensive player in round 2 though.

Depends on what we do in FA.. Assuming we don't make any moves at that position I would not mind if we used two picks on wr's from 1-3.. Defense has some good pieces it needs some more, but the biggest issue by far is this offense. If they want to invest in it that highly you won't see me complaining.

That would be DGs method flood the group with picks I have 0 problem with that.

The question here is, earlier in the season the Giants were said to have some cap space last few reports have them 11 mill over I'm sure they can find a bunch but do you or anyone know what they have.

I have no clue, last I heard official cap numbers where unknown. There's probably someone more privy to this stuff on this form that'll be able to help with that. I'd like to know as well. Whatever it is now, will be completely different once they start making moves and cutting ppl like Soldier.

As mentioned, it all depends on FA and everything else.
All things being equal, I wouldn't be upset if we addressed WR twice early in the draft.
I saw the kid from LSU last night when I dipped my toe into researching who's out there. Him, and a WR from Michigan I believe, both caught my eye a bit.

I'd be ok with Pitts and a WR, not 2 WR's. Marshall is the guy in round 2, but I'd prefer we take the BPA with the 11th pick.

I've watched a little of Marshall. He looked good. And I think the Giants need some better size at WR. Although, I've seen his name in the 1st round as well.

I agree with BPA with the 11th pick but I also think at pick 11 that will be one of the top 3 WRs unless someone like Parsons or Surtain fall that might be better. Personally I would prefer WR/TE. I kept trying to get Devonta Smith and Freiemuth TE from PSU but could not get him in round 2 at all. That would be my preference. Marshall would be a nice round 2 pick though.

Very tough to tell where these WRs will go. Like TCHOF said the mid round WRs have been really good lately so some teams might be willing to hold off on WRs in round 1 which could make some guys drop.

Davante Adams JJ Smith Schuster Kenny Golloday Tyreke Hill DK Metcalf Robert Woods Alshon Jeffery Stefan Diggs Michael Thomas Keenan Allen Allen Robinson Adam Thelein Courtland Sutton TY Hilton Tyler Lockett None of them were 1st rounders...

Kyle Pitts is 6′ 6"... 240 lbs. And he just turned 20 years old 3 months ago. He's a growing boy! Is that a prototypical WR?

Depends on what we do in FA.. Assuming we don't make any moves at that position I would not mind if we used two picks on wr's from 1-3.. Defense has some good pieces it needs some more, but the biggest issue by far is this offense. If they want to invest in it that highly you won't see me complaining. I hope they can bolster the receiving unit purely through the draft, and also not going to complain if rounds 1-3 go toward this (TE included) not seeing why a proven vet is so critical at this position. CB on the other hand, I feel they need to bring on a pure proven vet - if possible.

If we can sign a known commodity at WR in FA (like Robinson from Chicago) it will provide us great flexibility in the draft.

in and of itself, could be an ok move, but it all depends on FA, who else is available at that pick, etc, as others have said.

Here's why I hope the Giants don't take Pitts. He's a tweener right now, TE/WR. He could be a nice pick for a more well rounded team. I think the Giants need to get players that can play specific positions. Round out your team...then considered a talented tweener.
