Especially with a RB draft class that has a bumper crop of better versions of Booker we can get day 3 There were 3 rbs taken in the 4th round in 2021 that had over 600 yards. 1 in the 6th round that had over 900. I don’t even understand why we’re talking about this, lol. Booker was always the 3rd or 4th name on the list in the “who do we cut” threads Of course we passed on the guy I wanted that had over 900 yards for Brightwell..... But Yeah

I can hope that the people in charge this time around will get the Elijah Mitchell and not the Brightwell this time around.

Everyone down on Barkley, but I would say he was a dynamic talent prior to the injuries. If he happens to be his old self, he could be prolific behind a fixed line. I hate saying that because I feel like I’ve been pinning my hopes to a fixed line for 11 years.

My question for him is why would he even want to be here? The team has already wasted most of his prime years. Why stick around and wait for a 2-3 year rebuild? He should make a professional trade request IMO and go play for a winning team. We get some needed cap space and he gets to use the rest of his prime years playing for a winner. Both sides will get what they want.

I know fans on this board have guys they do not like or want but I wonder what percentage of games have we had a healthy Bark, DJ, Andrew Thomas, Shep and Engram in the last 2 years? It has to be extremely low. I ask about those 5 because I feel like they are our 5 best offensive players.

Xavier Mckinney missed much of his rookie year. So did KT. If we look to drop players based on injuries would we have kept Phil Simms?

IIs there a reason that we are taking so long to get through this phase of the off season?
I know of only 2 players cut thus far. It shouldn't be this complicated. Perhaps the new regime is starting from scratch in evaluating the people currently on the roster? Perhaps they are trying to make some trades to get value back for a few players who will be salary cap casualties through no fault of their own? Anything else that could be slowing this down?

Thomas is a keeper Shep, Engram and Barkley fateswill be decided on what's best for the cap and roster.

Agreed Wendy...we have a lot of ugly tape to go through as well as many calls, and number crunching It's like being 400 pounds and going on a diet...you won't get to 300 in 1 week...patience and time....and no snacking.
