He was very ordinary. And shows a lot of inaccuracies especially when any bit of pressure gets to him. Hope the Jets trade up and take him. Or Washington gets him.

I saw him play a couple games and I was also not impressed. Style similar to our high priced backup. With little presure can get the ball out but put a little on him and he panics.

As of now the QBs that I like are;
1) Nix
2) JJ
3) Daniels
Any of the above I would be ok with. As for the highly touted Williams - no major major red flags.. Sugar Free Diet Eli (Maye) - 3rd round talent IMO. Speaking of which if you are looking for 3rd rd talent and/or value Sam Hartman comes to mind. Penix I would love but the dude would not last a whole season in the NFL

Just going to put this out there, and most of you know already but here is the proof.... PFF ratings are not the answer.

Wow. Bears gave us a lot to move up for Fields and now he's just worth a 6th round pick? He devalued faster than a Tesla.

I ran the first equation of my draft predicter algorithm. (The accumulation of over 700 mock drafts) 3 equations to apply yet. The top 5 QBs Link to Datai did not see Jaylon Daniels He was added. My Algorithm is not configured to apply its own generated mocks. It imports from the talking heads. The reason is I do not want my own personal bias to infect the results. The mocks are percentage on how many times that player was mocked for the slated pick. I am going to say this without any reservation and will every time I post results as they come in. This is for entertainment purposes only. Use my findings at your own risk. I do not want to be responsible for your Kid's college fund going up in smoke. So far the first 4 Picks of the draft the data is suggesting. Caleb Williams 83% probability of going 1 Drake Maye 54% probability of going 2 Jayden Daniels 37% probability of going 3 Marvin Harrison Jr. 55% probability of going 4

Found these videos the other day for anyone interested. This guy seems knowledgeable about QB play and defensive coverage as a whole, and I thought he did a damn good job dissecting the film. My one issue is he only reviews a single game. Not a big deal, but I happened to notice that he chose to review Maye's game against NC State which ended up being one of the worst games of his career.
Good stuff overall.

Jayden Daniels weighs in at 210lbs during his Pro Day. It doesn't appear he's running the 40, though, which makes me wonder if he packed on weight to make a certain number. He apparently starts throwing at 1:50pm for anyone interested.

More cut ups, but these are of every throw and run for each QB in 2023. If they do one for Nix or Penix I’ll add it.

He is boring to watch almost stoic kind of reminds of watching Herbert highlights in college. His throws are effortless. He has an arm that can make difference in the NFL. He can run out of trouble and is faster than he seems. His throw motion is compact and he keeps his feet moving. Thanks for the video!

It pains me to say it, but the more I've watched Maye the more I've liked him. He has all the traits, his issues look to be fixable with good coaching, and he's only 21 and had to carry a UNC team with little NFL talent. I have a feeling he's #1 on Schoen's and Dabs' wish list.

First Impression: Late Day-2/Early Day-3 Jordan Travis: The likelihood of us landing one of the top QBs seems to be getting less and less the closer we get to the draft. Figured I should familiarize myself with some of the lesser known prospects. I won't spend as much time on them as I did the top-6, but want to at least do a quick eye test. I decided to give Jordan Travis a look last night (vs. LSU, vs. Miami) and actually came away fairly impressed. I must be easy to please because this has been the common theme with nearly every QB I've watched so far. I wouldn't say there was a single aspect of his game that blew me away, but he was pretty solid all-around and there weren't many glaring weaknesses. What impressed me the most with JT was the way he threw the ball. He looks very accurate and consistently hit his target in stride or protected them from a big hit. He doesn't necessarily have the greatest arm strength, but he's got a quick release with some zip and he has good touch on his deep ball. He's also got some wheels. He's a true dual threat being able to throw on the run or pickup chunk yards with his legs. The concerns I have with JT are his frame and that lack of arm strength mentioned above. Again, the arm strength is fine but I question if he can consistently stretch the field against NFL defenses. The real concern is the fact he stands at 6'0/200lbs and looks slender on tape. Similar to my concern with Daniels, can JT sustain NFL hits at that size?
Pros: - Very accurate, hits targets in stride - Quick release - Solid arm talent, throws off platform/different arm angles - Mobile, legit dual threat Cons: - Slight frame - Average arm strength - 100% shotgun - Footwork, gets a bit frantic under pressure
- 23 years old - Broken leg in November

I don't know. I hope we get one in Rd1, but this year really does seem deep with "game managing" type talent. While I'd typically agree, I wouldn't be shocked if we decided to grab one later on.
I would be surprised if we went the route of a QB like Travis, though. He's got some decent film and some tools that look like they might translate, but his frame is a real concern and I have a feeling Dabs would prefer someone with more upside.
