My expectation is for Jones to get criticized when he wills the team to victories. LOL, and when it rains. LOL!

My expectation is for Jones to get criticized when he wills the team to victories. "Nabers is the reason we won"Well. If Jones is the reason, throw out what you expect his #s to look like? Yards: TDs: INTs: Y/A: Can't use the "practice squad WRs" excuse anymore. If Jones, like you've been saying since 19', is the catalyst. This should be easy? Funny how this is like pulling teeth. But expected on my end. As I've been saying for years, if Jones fans had the same expectations for Jones, as they do for his supporting cast, we'd be having the same convo.

Why would we become run heavy? we just drafted one of the best WR prospects in recent memory. According to Dan Brugler, the best prospect the last two drafts, not WR prospect, but the best prospect. Singletary is the backbone of this offence? Odd, he's not very good. I've been hearing all about how we have this hidden beast, just need to get him a supporting cast. well, what is it then? Jones has the 5th highest cap hit in the game and his fan base is scared to give him expectations? time for the training wheels to come off.

My expectation is for Jones to get criticized when he wills the team to victories. then state how many victories JONES will win for the Giants this year. thus far, he hasn't done much winning. One read and run strategy died last year, whats the counter? Go on. How many WINS, yards, TDs can we expect from your man in 2024? set your expectation now and we can revisit. Im tired of you Jones homers talk a big game, have all these expectations for Jones supporting cast, but nothing for him. Lets see it. Hard for me to say because of his health. Will he start week 1? After multiple surgeries I hope Jones has more left in the tank. Like Mara said, the Giants have done everything to screw him up...I just hope Jones has more juice in the tank left to give. Jones's play noticeably declined like Barkley's did after injury - after he returned from the neck injury vs the Raiders...Jones looked off. ...but people wrote off Simms after he tore his ACL and MCL and missed part or all of the season for the third season in a row in 1982...and almost got replaced. Simms came back better than ever, hope the same for Jones. I guess I can work with averages..I hope Jones can meet or exceed Mahomes's 7 yards per attempt. Over 200 yards a game but I'd like to see 230. Averages should improve across the board from last year but that shouldn't be hard. If the Giants miss the playoffs it will be Jones's last year.

Anyway, I'm just offering a hypothetical scenario. You never know how things will work out. Wins are all that matter, then we can tear apart the numbers and criticize whoever we want. Everyone should be better. It's silly to speculate specifics.

So how many Wins will Daniel Jones Win for the Giants? if giving him production goals is too much of an ask.

My expectation is when that poster creates his postgame thread “12-21, 178 yards, 1 TD…. What do you think about Jones’ performance?” The usual suspects will predictably proclaim:
He played great. Incredible performance The haters can suck it!!

Jones in the man! He's going to put up big numbers. He has an accurate arm and can run. Line should hold up and he'll have the time to hit a multitude of quick and elusive receivers. Deal with it.

Perhaps he won't be ready to go week 1 due to injuries. Drew Lock comes in and performs admirably and is named the starter moving forward. That would be ideal. Having a QB perform "admirably" is anything but ideal lol.
Jones being an MVP candidate is ideal.

Deal with it. Define "big"?. Simple. Then we can evaluate that against what actually happens. That way, no ones moving goal posts come October.

Incredible performance The haters can suck it!! Every elite supporting cast we add, 22 yards are apparently added to his baseline. 4 more pieces, Jones starts hitting 300 YPG with ease!

What are the chances the Giants finish the record season in the top 3 W-L record?

We will see but if I see him tucking and running or dumping off to the flat…we’re in trouble.
My expectations are low. If he finds a way to simply not-suck, the O will automatically be 50% better.

He'll be passing for far more yards than he has in the past. I'll let you judge if he is. I'm assuming OL is better and will protect him. Unless defense falters which I doubt it will, his and other performances should translate into winning season. I'm also assuming Daboll won't play conservatively in the first half of games as he has a pattern of doing. It's time for him to to open the spigots and have Nones utilize the whole field.

My expectation is he will stink like he always does, then get injured, like he tends to do.
Lock comes in and plays better, but by no means he is world beater, just our offense looks better with him. The Dan Jones supporters will say the Oline got better or the weapons are playing better all of sudden. Once again Ignoring the fact, DJ just flat-out stinks.

Hoping that he is able to play a full season. Expectations like for most QBs would be to hit the standards of today's NFL.
4,000 pass yards(Can be reduced depending on how many rush yards generated). 235 per 25 pass TDs(Can be reduced depending on how many rush tds generated). 1.4 per 12 or less Ints. 0.70 per 64+ completion % 90+ passer rating 55+?? QBR(might be to low not sure what's considered standard)

I expect more underwhelming QB play from 8 and for Drew Lock to ultimately replace him based on performance and that injury guarantee in 2025. I hope that he proves me wrong, but I just don't see it. Name one running QB who came back from a torn ACL and handled their business immediately in their first season back from the injury. The guy is horrible in the pocket and will be relegated there due to his injury. It's a bad combo. 8 is toast.
