..................................... And, for the record, I have NEVER insulted anyone simply for disagreeing with me. Generally it is because I found something they said to be so utterly ridiculous that an insult was either warranted or just funny. ..................from what you may recall, if I could add that. It's a fair point.

If it is true what source said. Why would his HC at Georgia say this on week ago? 247sports.com/college/georgia/Article/Deandre-Baker-New-York-Giants-Kirby-Smart-comes-to-defense-147072812/“When you’re on the back end you’re the last line of defense so that’s what everybody sees," Smart said. "Those three corners who were picked [in the first round this year], they’ll probably be the same way. They’re going to be under the limelight a lot more. I know DeAndre will get better and he’ll keep working at it.’’You would think DeAndre's HC is a more reliable means to know what Baker was in Georgia than "Source". That coaches statement doesn't exactly give me great confidence. What do you expect him to say about one of his players?
He's kind of saying, "DeAndre has issues now, but he'll get better."
It's evident the kid is a problem and has no common sense.
I'm hearing the same thing people said about Beckham. "He's just immature. He'll be ok when he grows up."
Well, he never grew up.
Evidence points to the NYG wasting another first round draft pick.
Coaches and teams put up with all kinds of nonsense from players if they are great. LT is an example.
They don't put up with it if the player is mediocre.
What does the Coach have to gain by saying . He gains nothing. What does the writer of the opinion piece clamming to have insider gain? . A) he did not say " DeAndre has issues now, but he'll get better." He said all corners have issues transitioning to the NFL B) It's evident the kid is a problem and has no common sense. What kid at his age has common sense. I did all kinds of stupid stuff. C) Well, he never grew up. You know this because? D) Evidence points to the NYG wasting another first round draft pick. After one season. Really? E) Coaches and teams put up with all kinds of nonsense from players if they are great. LT is an example. Did they do that with Beckham? They wont put up with any BS, F) They don't put up with it if the player is mediocre. You know he is mediocre after one season . Again Really? Are you saying if a 1st round pick has some issues in his 1st year . The team should give up on them? How do you expect to the FO to build a team if they give up on players before they have time to develop? That is the your post reads. You know who gives up on their picks too quickly. Teams with empty trophy cases.

Many points I echoed before in previous threads. This is really a hear say case with no evidence at all. No evidence that he even ever gambled, no watches recovered. What money? What about bank transactions? Now he even had a designated driver. He had to wait in line behind six cars to leave a gated community with a security post. Why wasnt the security guard ordered to stop the assailants, police being notified hours later after everybody was gone. This is becoming hilarious. Who was at the party I questioned before. They know it was 15 or 20 people. My number one question would be how strong are the accusers backgrounds. Do they have a rap sheet? Do they have any thing to gain by accusing the NFL players? Do they know him personally? Are they in any kind of financial trouble? Way to many questions. The defense sounds like they are ready and could make it very hard if they attempt to prosecute. The accusers have already backed away it sounds like, what case do they have now? Zilch.

Would be pretty wild if Baker used this and turned his career around to become an All-Pro Cornerback for the next 10 years.

Damn....not carrying, not losing $70,000, not even playing cards but Madden, AND has a designated driver. If this is true, I guess all we'll have to cut him for is not social distancing.

Wouldnt be surprised either if Dunbar and Baker were actually fleeing the scene with others after someone yelled gun then chaos ensued. Anything is possible now. The fact that he had a designated driver and if its on video. The network login for Bakers video game, that would be huge. That would actually put Baker in another area like he said he was and would be actual evidence not hearsay. I imagine he never would have brought that up if it didnt happen. I would also look at the accusers phones and see if they were still onsite hours after everybody left. Why would you still be there if you were in fear and just got robbed. Would you not also fear that gunman returns?

Thank you for using the rare "innocent until proven guilty" concept that our fans and media found too challenging to use. I'm still disappointed in the fans that blamed Gettleman for this too and I am a guy that thinks he is a clown.

Col Jessup was leaving for a weekend and he packed a toothbrush and a change of underwear. And Santiago was leaving at 5 AM for the rest of his life, and he hadn’t packed a thing.

When I was 20 I was at a house party where the backyard faced a major road which was separated with a large brick wall. I was in the living room eating Taco Bell but didn’t know some idiots were throwing rocks over the fence and brick wall into upcoming traffic. Cops came and arrested everyone. I didn’t know who was doing it but could only recall who was in the backyard. It took them a few hours to narrow it down to the 3 people who were doing it. The kids not involved ended up getting MIPs while the others got assault charges. After reading this article and if true I can see how people could get stories wrong at first given the situation.

If DeAndre baker wasn’t carrying then that would change everything because in that situation you shouldn’t be carrying. If DeAndre baker wasn’t carrying I have little to no problem with him even being there at the party and it’s probably a wake up call to him. How can you have no problem with him being there if true? He was still hanging out with “lowlifes” right?

NFL Players carry guns all of the time. Here is a list of some who have been caught. I think they are absolutely ridiculous for doing it. It is my belief that they should hire a personal private armed security guard to escort them on their outings. www.usatoday.com/sports/nfl/arrests/

Still a bad decision but if DeAndre Baker wasn’t carrying and wasn’t conducting high stakes illegal gambling then it’s not illegal and it’s something that can be worked on. When the entire story comes out we’ll know more. SMH, confirmed clueless

The NFL why? If a player feels unsafe then they themselves should pay for their own private security. Same goes for any MLB player, NBA player, any high profile actor or actress, etc. Its a wacko world out there. Many people starving for attention or trying to make a quick buck. Im not saying they dont have a right to socialize either, but if they feel uncomfortable enough to want to carry a weapon, then hire a professional guard for the outing. They could act as the driver if need be.

Bringing up LT is comical in reference. Not because he was great either. It was 30+ years ago. Mets were doing coke in the clubhouse, athletes ran the city at night and the media was more prone to paint athletes as heroes than f*** ups. LT wouldn’t have lasted 5 seconds in this day and age, regardless of talent.

You must be confirming yourself. I’m sure I’ll get warned for that one as well. If I were to respond to you with “no it’s you that is clueless,” Roosevelt will warm me for personal attacks because according to Roosevelt the rules only apply to certain posters and not all of them, depending on who he/she likes and how he/she sees fit to implement the rules that he/she obviously feels is open for interpretation to fit his/her agenda. So I’ll just merely state that your “analysis” on being “clueless” or “confirmed clueless” must be in regard to yourself and not anyone else. I copied and pasted to sundown the thread on personal attacks. The rules are for everybody. Reply #175

Gotta say, why is this guy at a house party with these types of people. He should be social distancing like the rest of us and he wouldn't be in this situation in the first place. He gets what he deserves. Patterns in behavior....something else will surely happen down the line. We saw it with you know who.

I got a warning for exactly the same thing which was completely uncalled for and stupid but Roosevelt has so far refused to remove it because he/she wants to make up the rules as he/she goes along to suit his/her own personal agenda. I’m going to call out hipocrisy and lies. The warning needs to be removed. Let the posters iron out their own debates or arguments. that is what we are telling you BBW. Do it on your own with PMs and keep it off the threads. Its really pretty simple
