Well, I suppose we scored 34 points without him running or throwing for a TD. So thats a positive.
2 TDs, 8 Turnovers in 5 games.

I say it every week and I'll say it again. This is EXACTLY who Jones was at Duke. Some great play. Some awful play. The end result was usually a loss.
Maybe if he had an offensive line things would be different, but we don't and he is awful. He's not a franchise QB right now, and there is a good chance he won't be ever.
We need to move on from Gettleman at the end of the season, and I imagine a new GM will want to replace Jones.

You have to start keeping track of turnovers on this weekly thread.
I dont see the killer instict. I dont see any instinct actually.
Zero TDs in 3 straight games

We need another WR desperately but I’m far from sold on Jones

He played better this game . Most of his passes were clean. I still have faith he is the guy.

What Are Your Thoughts On Daniel Jones’s Performance vs Cowboys Today? ZERO Touchdowns again BUT only 1 turnover. So that’s positive. Kinda Good or Even Average QB’s March down the field and win the game. Not go 3 and out

Zero touchdowns in 3 straight games. That’s acceptable in ‘74. He had an opportunity to shut the naysayers up, and he fell short. And Dalton, who probably had a few beers in him put the Cowboys in position to win.

Jury is still out on him, still pulling for him. Don't care who the QB is I just want to ****ing win. Some will say the offense looked improved, I don't feel that way. Any ounce of competency and they would've won. I'm starting to lose patience with him though and not just him but mostly everyone on offense.
Getting sick and tired of saying it, but still plenty of season for the entire team to improve.
Also, play calling was more than fine.

Very pedestrian against the worst defense I've seen in years.

Dallas’s Defense is one of the worst in the NFL

If i had to give him one ounce of support, it's that he might be playing behind the worst line in history. I mean seriously, I am missing the Flowers+Bobby Hart line at this point. How Flemming isn't replaced by Peart and how bad Andrew Thomas truly is defies logic. Thomas was supposed to be the most NFL ready LT in the draft and he is brutal.

I don’t care. If we have the opportunity to draft Lawrence, you do it. Save the growing pains and fumbles for another team.

Lawrence is still better than Jones is today, even with all the NFL experience Jones has now. Jones was supposed to be at best a day 2 pick. Gettleman over drafted terribly and it shows on the field.

He’s not the guy .. no touchdowns in 3 games , and gave up 7 because he can’t hold the damn ball when he gets hit .. this is not going to go away .. dalton who was sitting on the bench comes in throwing dimes and we need Danny boy to step up and he melts like butter ..

I thought he played well outside of the fumble. TD to Slayton called back. Fumbles still a huge problem.
Offensive line did not pass block well, looked like Thomas had a rough game - he did catch a ball in the endzone though.

Did the best he could with an offense built to throw to RB's behind the line of scrimmage.
